In autumn the leaves dances over the lake. Their green, red and golden hues reflecting onto the water’s surface, as the wind carries them across. Across to other places. Other worlds. At times, you wish you were nothing but a leaf, dancing in the wind… and leaving all this behind.

>Don't forget you have to clean the graffiti off your house before he sees it.
...oh no. When are you supposed to find time to clean that off!? Just taking down the stall after you’re done here will take most of the afternoon.

Bill: “…the town ain’t to fond of me.” you mumble as you turn around and put the finished fish packages in front of him, “And mah pah is no l-longer with us.”
Theo: “Oh…” he averts his gaze from yours, looking down at the fish instead, “I… see…” fumbling a bit, he grabs both the earthroot leaves wrapped files and slide them into his jacket, “I’m sorry about your father.”
Bill: “Don’t be. ‘e been gone for a while.” you let your fingers tap against the counter before continuing, “Ah w-would take a room down at Tina, but the place is probably packed like a barrel of sardines what with the f-festival and all.” you glance up again, finding the rabbit looking you right in the eyes, “M-might as well sleep in mah stall…”
Theo: “Ah, no, that won’t do. That won’t do at all.” looking out towards the west, he waves his hand in front of you, “There are rainclouds on the horizon, and I don’t want you… I don’t want my guide tomorrow to catch a cold, now do I?”
Bill: “Well, the only other idea Ah ‘ave is to drag mah old eka into the woods and camp under it.” you stroke your beard, “Sides, better this creature of yers run into someone like me instead of some defenseless kid, eh?”
Theo: “Eka?”
Bill: “Mah rowing boat.”
Theo: “Oh… no, that’s… I can’t allow you to come to harm, Bill.” he put his hand on yours, his soft fur rubbing against your hard scales, “But what can I…” Closing his eyes, he sigh… and after taking a deep breath he lifts up your left hand and pushes something of metal and wood into it,

And with that, before you even have time to compose yourself enough to say goodbye, he’s gone. Well, mostly gone, you can still see his crimson cape dancing in the wind as he once again is beset by the other town people. For a second, his shoulder sags… before he stands up straight and outright beam with self-confidence, before finally succumbing to the tidal wave of fans and disappearing behind them.

Opening your hand, you find a key with a wooden disc fastened on it. The number 1 is carved on one side… and the words “Tina’s Tavern” on the other. Clearly, a key belonging to the inn. Huh, you’ve never actually seen one of these keys before, ha-

Wait… wait… did… did he just give you the key to his room!? He even invited you to spend the night there!? This isn’t a date, is it!? Or do he want to… or… but… what if he wants to… or is this just a misunderstanding and… what are you supposed to wear!? Are you supposed to bring something!? Like flowers!? HAVE YOU BEEN MISSREADING YOUR INTERACTION WITH HIM!? YOU’RE NOT READY FOR THIS!

A date is a formal affair, this is just hanging out. Were you trying to impress him? No. So he must actually like you as you are, and wants to spend time with you.
Don't worry about it too much. Focus on stowing your stall for now.

He probably wants to put you in a nice bed for once. He doesn't seem like the type to do anything serious until his quest is done.

Still probably a good idea to get some nice spices and prepare a nice dinner using that fish, unless he wants to keep it as a pet. Not because he's your soul mate or anything (baka). It's just the nice, courteous thing to do to repay him.

“Oooh, that brings me back.” Cauldera sighs, looking on at the show. “He tries to be so gentle at first.”

“I know, right?” Miki giggles, “Its very sweet.” She shares a knowing glance with one of the few people to have had Raithe as a partner. “I always have to remind him to go harder.” She shuffles a little as her arousal grows, pressing against the tight fabric of her pants.

The baker glances at her hosts: on one side of her Vivian watches with rapt attention, one hand tucked under her dress and slowly rubbing back and fourth. Opposite her, Cauldera lays back on the grass, her thumb rubbing in circles around the curve of her breast.

“Uh, heh, so if fey descended from elementals, and I guess mortals descended from fey: does that mean there’s something descended from mortals? Like, why is everything layered like that?” Miki asks, trying to keep the casual conversation going, even as she sees where things are headed. Her heard races and her head spin as she tries to keep from babbling. The baker feels excitement gripping her but feels suddenly out of her depth and unsure of how to proceed.

“Mmm- Its one of the great questions, and there’s many theories about such things.” Vivian responds, catching her breath as her tip raises the hem of her dress. “Are there places even further from the Sea of Dreams than the mortal realm, with less mana and no natural magic? Much time has been spent debating what life would look like on a plane like that; if it could even exist. It seems... unnatural and alien.”

She continues, tilting her porcelain muzzle skyward as her pleasure builds. “Ah- of course, such thought goes both ways. There was a mortal philosopher named Rutattezen who theorized that there might be some place beyond the Sea of Dreams: a great untergeister

And Hey! Heres an idea: Since Pazuru is here, we can ask her if she could train with us and Momo too. She has that giant astral projection of her feral form that we can train with. Plus im sure she has all sorts of other powers she can use thay we can find out about and train with. This is a good way to see how Pazuru does in combat too for future missions. Plus, Josephine probably needs this downtime to heal her wounds, and check for cancer treatments, so pazuru is a good person to train with while Josephine is temporary out of action.

Also, I think we should tell Pazuru about her replacement [VIRGE] during training and how cute he was, even if he was a little bit of a party pooper, and fun to tease. Just want her opinion on the silly little angel.

I would have said buy the motorcycle, but i have a feeling that whoever paid us during the gala is going to ask for that favor next downtime, and id rather make sure we get training done in case our second downtime is spent doing the favor

>You get it. You want that blip too, some days
I can’t imagine turning old and looking at myself in the mirror, and never having published anything. Then again, I could get hit by a bus tomorrow for all I know.

Marlene: I totally get what you mean. There are days I want that blip too--I'm an aspiring writer myself.

Marlene: But for what it’s worth, Devon, I really loved reading the script. Your father’s writing is impressive and very captivating for a tragologist.

>What’s tragology? The study of tragedies?
*like the study of humans is anthropo-logy, tragos or trago-logy is a made-up term for the study of goats and caprine cultures. Also, side fact, the etymology of tragedy is made up of tragos (goat) and oide (song).

He chuckles with me.

>Ask for full permission on behalf of the studio to edit, re-contextualize, and overhaul the script.
Marlene: I’ve dealt with the process where studios buy scripts from small screenwriters. If I’m able to convince Silenus to pick it up, they could offer a deal to purchase the rights. From there they could modify or finish it however they want.

Marlene: There’s a good chance you could come in and write the rest yourself--or find any notes regarding it.

Devon: Oh, I could try and find anything Osman has to help, but I’m afraid I know absolutely nothing when it comes to writing stories--unless it involves a tax consultant.

Devon: It would be in better hands with professionals.

Marlene: If it pulls through, they’ll contact you. You should be proud that your father’s work has made it this far.

Devon: I am! It’s wonderful news!

>Ready to become a historian, ghostwriting for a ghost?
>Might be an issue if you’d want recognition of your own […] rather than be a […] ghost writer.
Honestly, I’m not that uptight about sharing work or recognition. Sure, I’d love to have the glory to myself (who wouldn’t)--but this is my chance to find my bearings and get my foot in the door again. I should gladly take it, despite the tension I have about that place.

I give him my number.

Marlene: Thank you for the talk, Devon; I’m happy to have reached you. I haven’t read a good script like this in a while; it’s new and inspiring and it’d be a shame if it never reaches the producer’s desk.

Devon: I’m very happy to hear that. I can’t wait to tell my wife about this!

Devon: I could recheck for any notes in the meantime. I’ll keep an eye on the phone in case you call again.

Marlene: Have a good evening, Devon.

Devon: You too, Ms. Collins.

That went better than expected, but that’s only the easy part. If I were to write the rest of the script would I channel through Osman’s writing--or interpret with my own style? I would do my best to stay true to the original source.

I return to the basement; Maebe notices me.

Maebe: Hey, who were you talking to?

Marlene: It was Osman’s son. Turns out the author of this script has passed away years ago.

Maebe: Aye.

Marlene: His next of kin will take care of the negotiations if Silenus picks it up.

Marlene: Thing is, that also means someone else will have to finish it.

Maebe: That gonna be you?

Marlene: Oh, well, maybe! I do want to see this to the end.

Oh that's an expectation, you are your own man Boss, but in this matter at least you hold similar values.

You're building a new kingdom rather than directly reclaiming the one taken from you, and it's appropriate it starts in this forest where you gathered your first companions. It's only fitting that it's where, hopefully, you gather your first peoples.

These infringements by outsiders are something to be helped with on principle alone, but it would go without saying that if the region were to be under your influence it would likewise have your protection.

Thousands of thousands of years ago, a Grand Slime was murdered by a mysterious entity known as the Void King.
Thousands of thousands of years later, Nemo reawakens with only a few fractured memories of her former life.
She quickly reunites with two of her broken pieces, and sets out to explore the world in search of the remaining fragments of her shattered core.
After accidentally uncovering and releasing a strange figure imprisoned in stone, Nemo meets another unfortunate end, and it's up to her other parts, Humphrey and Mirrow, to carry on the mission to reunite themselves.
Elsewhere, but not too far away, a runaway Elsekin named Sam is trapped in a dense forest filled with hostile vines.

The adventurers look at each other.

“There’s the small matter of scale here, Pliny. Our party can’t defeat an entire army.” Erogalf says.

“We’d like the war to end too, but we also value our lives.” Flint adds. “Being a spirit, you could pick away at their numbers over time without as much risk.”

“Yes, that’s a good idea, you can travel with us as we follow the army to Jamuk!” Erogalf’s smile seems a little forced, though it’s difficult to tell through the fake beard.

I’m at a crossroads. The army will depart tomorrow and I can either stay here and help the survivors or pursue, with the adventurers or on my own.
No. 1078985 ID: 273c18

Ugh following the army is so much trouble. There are people here, your well is here, your town is here. Just stay put. Maybe kill the commander to weaken their tactics so the defenders of this nation can potentially defeat them.

No. 1079007 ID: f3171e

They were searching for a spirit. They said as much when they found the hole we made. Perhaps they truly do oppose this army, or perhaps they do not. Either way, I get the sense that they need a spirit for something and wish to use us as a tool. We could follow the army in secret if we truly felt the need, we do not need them for this. What benefit we would have in this arrangement is unclear.

We are Pliny, not a tool for adventurers.

I also do not think they are being genuine. Their friendliness seems too fast and too strained. Do not accuse them of anything, but decline. Be prepared for them to react badly to rejection.

Even if they do not react violently, we should keep track of them when they leave, and consider eliminating them if they act suspiciously and the opportunity is presented. They may decide there is more profit in selling us out. Always prioritize mages first if it comes to violence.

Aside from throwing hands with your inventor, you can see a loose-looking panel on the ceiling. You could jump up there and try and sneak around in the walls and ceiling or even just hide. It sounds like there might be some kind of vermin living up there though.

Also, there is a single door leading out of the room and it is slightly open. You can hear the sound of boots hitting the ground and people talking through it.

The stream returns to relative normalcy; the group has now coalesced and has begun to track toward Vanuix town; everyone seems to collect their first Pokemon on the route, which goes through an abandoned ruin of what looks to be some sort of European castle, Pheonix gets the Fire snake monotype:

The Pokedex reads Infernipython, the Inferno Python Pokemon.
Infernipython has a distinctive flame-shaped pattern on the crown of its head, resembling a radiant crown of fire. Embers occasionally escape from its mouth as it moves, leaving a trail of sparks behind it. The tip of its tail is adorned with a pronounced flame, which burns brightly and can be controlled with precision.

Elk Enchantress gets the new fan-favorite Psychic/Ghost type, Psyshroud; looking at the Pokemon's design, you understand why quickly.

The Pokedex reads: Psyshroud has flowing, wispy tendrils that trail behind it, resembling an elegant gown. These tendrils are semi-transparent and move gracefully with the Pokémon's every movement, adding to its spectral allure. Around its neck, there's a delicate, ghostly accessory that shimmers with a psychic glow.
The tail of Psyshroud is adorned with a series of psychic ribbons that float and weave through the air, creating an enchanting display. These ribbons can move with a mind of their own, responding to the emotions and thoughts of Psyshroud.

Finally, Shepered Streamer gets Ghost/Normal aoudad: SpectraLight:

considering all of the possibilities, this battle seems nearly impossible to complete without a total party wipe, with most of their Pokemon at levels 16-18; maybe this is the end of the stream, and once this is done, you can finally rest, return to your car, drive home and go to sleep.

Your thought is interrupted by a Direct Message from Phoenix, which makes your heart drop to your stomach.
"If the Stream ends here, it's curtains for you .(= "

At first, I was happy about this news, but now I feel oddly intimidated. But with how much control I have over the possibilities, I have a couple of options to deal with this.

[1] Tell the strategy of what to do out loud to the streamers. At the same time, you influence their critical hit chance to take out the Rattas, with very few casualties (The Audience will most likely catch on to what you are doing and be reasonably enraged with this action.)
[2] The fight plays out as expected; a "Lucky" Critical hit saves the stream when all hope seems lost. (This will be incredibly engaging to the audience. However, it will leave only one Pokemon, which may be a problem in future internal stream conflicts.)
[3] Turn the battle off entirely and return to the hub (This will save the party Pokemon; however, it will lower your professionalism, and the audience will become furious at you.)
[4] Distract the audience with [something] as you set it so the streamers discreetly cheese the encounter while all attention is on you. (You will have to Sacrifice a lot of any Bar to do this; however, it will not decrease or Increase (when it comes to lewdness) any other bar)
[5] Attempt to discreetly strategize with the streamers through DM's and make a way to do this legit (You will have to suggest a strategy or sequence of turns or mock turns as a suggestion; Failure results in a team wipe, however, if it succeeds it will generate massive amounts of hype, increasing the stream past the bar, and increasing your professionalism by a lot, you can also suggest things like take off the blindfold and strategies on how the streamers should react and process the information. )
[6] You know what? Let them

Seeing the sight of your own blood wouldn't normally do this to you, but that combined with the unpleasant sensation right before it causes you to fall, like a plank, into a supine position.
Hitting the back of your head on the pub floor, naturally, stuns you momentarily. This definitely gives you a horrible feeling in your cranium for now, but you don't feel like it'll cause any lasting damage.

In the near-instantaneous time that it's taken you to come to, the "mobster" has swooped over and scooped you up.

He takes you past the bar and into a little room and lays you down on the bed. After checking your pulse and breathing, he looks into your mouth.
The man asks you if you're feeling okay and where the pain is. Before you can automatically answer, you feel the sting of unknown chemicals being injected directly into your cubital fossa. You had best hope that that was medicine for whatever you just ate.

You eat in the car after going through the WCDONS drive thru. Thankfully, that giftcard had enough change to spare after your order too.

And with the cosmos as your witness you are fucking this burger up.

Eiko watches you with both disgust and envy, "You know, you'll have to uncuff me eventually," she leans forward with more desperation than earlier, "At least feed me a fry or something! This is torture! Torture!"

You take a few more bites before mercifully feeding her some of the fries, "So, what's the layout of the compound?"

Half your fries are gone by the time Eiko answers and you squint at her, "It used to be an office building. About four floors with the crab on top. He usually isn't in the crab, but his office is in the very top floor."

Kings do love their towers. At least your wounds have stitched back together and some sensation has returned to your numb limbs. You clench your fingers a couple of times to make sure.

"How's the security?"

"Two guards at every entrance. The most people hang out on the first floor and the underground garage. The second floor is where the main supplies are kept and the third floor is the books area. There aren't really people on the third floor except dispatchers and counters. I know the vault is on the fourth floor, but I haven't seen it or Julien's office in person."

She gestures, "Most of the gang are out right now collecting, but they'll be coming back in waves once it's evening. And they're probably expecting my call now."

Apparently, it's 4PM. You could technically wait until tomorrow to settle things, maybe prepare better, and have less of a risk of more people showing up. Your AW will likely be charged up by then and you could make a quick escape.

Though you have many options. Strangers are generally welcome if they're coming in for loans, so you could pretend to be one that Eiko found. You could also sneak in instead while she works as a distraction.

Eiko's ability to PERSUADE the gang not to suspect anything is also a loose factor. Her status is only slightly better than a grunt but still a newbie.

Ah, that reminds you.

As you draw up your plans, you look at her more pointedly, "I forgot to ask. Did they tell you to stay in the car or did you choose to stay?"

It's quiet. She stares at you. 1 second, 2 seconds, 5 seconds.

Her ears lower and the words come out low, "I told them I'd stay and call back up if needed. I had a bad feeling."

Eiko has good instincts. She'll value her life more than anything depending on the situation and would be able to sense danger. You'll have to take this into account in your plans.
No. 1078466 ID: eb0a9c

Hit his piggy bank. If he can't pay his army, they'll ditch him, forcing him to confront you if you start destroying what you can't carry.

Plan A: Pretend you're a double-dealer who Eiko arrogantly caught on her own. She'll demand to be taken to the upper floors, and while they argue, detonate a load-bearing wall and flee. Loot what remains afterwards.
Plan B: Make your way up to the third floor, neutralize all guards as quietly as you can. Then slowly plant explosives or charge spells and hit the vault from below.
Plan C: Fight your way to the vault, use heavy artillery to blast it open, destroying most of the contents. Salvage what you can, then flee and watch as the boss' army abandons him.
No. 1078633 ID: f2cf5a

Okay, so off the jump, there's an issue of her answering the question of 'where'd the other people go?' and 'why is she alone when she was supposed to be a warning sign?' She needs to have a way to answer those questions and keep suspicion low. I can't think of a reason for either, however, so that makes me believe she might not be super helpful in infiltration except as a distraction- though that in itself can be valuable. The how is also suspect.

You DID say no one's seen your face before, so that's a boon. I'd suggest trying to keep yourself hidden as possible. If there's some way to keep yourself quiet, then...well, normally I'd suggest the garage, but that's where a lot of people are, so that's out. Some way to get in the first floor...

...ugh, not a lot of info and too much risk. I feel like we might want to wait and scout the place out, get intel first. Though that does still leave her issue of 'why are all the guys dead and you didn't say anything?' What's an answer that WON'T get her shot dead on the spot? (Not that it matters super much, but you have a resource in her, might as well milk it.)
No. 1078939 ID: f2cf5a

Upon further thinking, there IS no good answer that wouldn't get her shot dead for dereliction of duty to the gang, since she never called for backup, but showed back up ALONE. Even if she 'admitted' she wussed out and kept our presence secret. This is the CHARITABLE explanation, presuming they put 2+3 together and get 5 instead of 2*3 and get 6. Her coming back alone by default means the target is VERY LIKELY STILL ALIVE since she said she'd call for backup if needed. And since he/we are likely still alive, we're either dipping REALLY hard, in which case the Asshole That Is Us just murked a bunch of their guys with little to no chance of recompense, or we're coming to 'complain' in person (which we are), in which case that means everyone needs to be on guard and she might've just lead him/us there (which she did). Again, this isn't even approaching the possibility that they guess right and they decide she turned traitor, in which case we're pretty hosed.

...so honestly, her best move, should she enjoy life, is actually to go to ground and let everyone believe she bit it in the crossfire, too. She shouldn't be helping at ALL.

(NOTE: This is all moot if she didn't tell her bosses exactly what she was trying to do, and by 'told them' simply meant 'she told the people meeting with us and no one else'.)

Which STILL leaves us without any good ways in. And the sad thing is we kinda NEED to raid this guy's base to pay rent, so...Shit Creek, we are up it.

Still thing we need more intel. Let it sit a day.

Condolencegratulations! The Empire has recognized your politically inconvenient unique contributions and will punish reward you with exile an opportunity to explore a newly discovered, potentially habitable world.

Everybody roll up third level Pathfinder 1e characters, 4d6 drop one for ability scores.
Initially available classes are:
Cleric (theoretician, ideological troublemaker),
Rogue (engineer, surgeon, practical troublemaker),
and Monk (milspec full cyborg, maintenance burden).

You'll be discovering the basics of magic as you go, including a nonstandard spell list, so to start with, rather than specific spells and domains, clerics should just pick one of https://questden.org/wiki/Please_do_not_Take_these_Organs#The_Old_Gods and one from among the set [envy, gluttony, lust, greed, pride, sloth, wrath].

Destination will be revealed once ten characters are ready. Multiple characters per player is acceptable.

Instead of D&D-style starting equipment, you'll be driving a solar-powered all-terrain tour bus, submersible to 30 atmospheres, complete with automated sickbay, machine shop, flying scout drones... almost everything you might need. Emphasis on "almost." The ATV's regenerative life support can provide fresh air and water indefinitely, but if you want to eat anything besides barely-palatable MREs, gotta either forage at the destination, or count it toward somebody's personal-baggage allotment.
Within that 50lb-per-person limit, any and all present-day or plausible near-future equipment (in GURPS terms, TL 9, no superscience) is potentially available. Tactical nuclear warheads are not recommended, and the smallest type viable at that tech level is well over 50lb, so in order to bring one, two

That last word... well, unfortunately you haven't got a great grasp on the language yet. Etymological breakdown is "eye" with a modifier meaning "subject and object reversed." Only really clear example you've got is applying the modifier to "spore" or "germ" or "seed," and means something like "capacity/potential to culture / be infected by" - the abstract personal quality, with regard to a particular disease, which a vaccine reduces. Same word also seems to be used to refer to fertility of farmland, though.
If an eye's function is to see, the subject/object inversion might be referring to "capacity to be seen." He's not literally invisible, though, so it can't be that simple.

Having been the person the most suited for having opened the wall safe in the first place, Midnight Sparrow has absolutely zero interest in sticking what might be a mind control helmet on her head in a hostile environment.

What she did have an inclination for, however, was inclined to get her hand on clearly valuable jewelry, with a picture taken of the thing with the instructions front and back included saved as Artifact-0001-1: Control Circlet and Artifact-0001-2: Control Circlet and would pick it up in order to carry back in the direction of the ship so that division of ownership of extremely valuable objects could be reasonably discussed. Especially since it's not like they were going to just find some settlement they would be easily able to trade with.

Further, she would search on the IR spectrum to search for any localized hotspots, as well as double checking how hot the Control Circlet was

The Interstellar Transit Authority currently holds the planet under martial law. The planet has seen a turbulent past century, guerilla fighters have been holding it hard and there has been no progress in taking hold.

Mercenary companies have been brought in to step in as a force multiplier, but they are beholden to no one but whoever pays the most.

Corporate entities have also begun to set their eyes on the planet below.

Oh it'll definitely be worse. What you should be pondering is why you're going up against Dunaris, knowing they have some fancy super tech and you do not? If they have enough time to send helicopter reinforcements, you're going to find half of your mech dimensionally shifted 7 light years away before you know it.

Consider that surprise and speed is vital to this mission. You're going to need to grab that new mech and run. Can you bury your mech beside the train tracks, so they won't see you coming?
No. 1078652 ID: de5cb4

You'll consider this tactic and suggest it to Leo.

You can stay within, according to your RADAR systems, the target is a few cars down, getting inside the train was a bonus.

You open the door and see a Box Walker, you remember that this Sim is meant to push you.

How do you react to the Box Walker?
No. 1078914 ID: 8f9bc4

Open the box to find the treasure inside!

Alternatively, stay against the wall of the train so it can't get a clamp around one side of your mech, and try to knock it off balance. It's probably a service mech not designed for combat, and less agile than your current speedy setup.

Since this is a sim lets try something bold.
Try using boost to run up the wall, drop down on the box and drive a beam through it.

In terms of their demise, the only correlation between them is they died of the same causes

DeRvan was a sociopath who never got any sort of treatment for pathological lying. However he was too prideful to ever truly commit suicide. I believe he was manipulated into killing himself because his death served a purpose to the people who led him like a puppet on a string.

The assistant, was manic depressive and psycho-dependant on Zirzam, even modeling herself after her master. She suffered from severe imposter syndrome, trying to constantly prove to herself that she was worthy of Zirzam's attention. Her death, based on the autopsy, was more personal. My personal guess is she wronged someone, and the one who was responsible wanted her to suffer.

>:Savvy:: Supernatural or not; what happens if people hear that this has happened?

:Savvy:: Alright. "I'm seeing a whole, whole lot..."

:Friz:: I'm seeing a whole, whole lot of signs that the corpse got up and walked out.
:Rogers:: You sure? No alternatives?
:Friz:: Are you suddenly skeptical? You keep telling me you're a ghost!
:Rogers:: Faking revival could do a lot.
:Rogers:: Ex-cultists waiting for their head-cultist martyr's return, ready to get real violent.
:Friz:: You think there'd be another really violent situation, like before?
:Rogers:: Maybe.

The morgue tray was mentioned. There was residue from when the corpse "escaped". Where is the morgue tray that was in there? It should have residue on it too.

OK plausible hypothesis then, someone opened the door since that's easy to do from the outside, then used heavy industrial machinery to break it, as if it had been torn open. Then used their own feet to kick the door and leave prints, trying to make it look like the corpse just walked off.

Only problem with that: why was the body not decaying? There was something spooky about it.

Check the latching mechanism on the wall. They might have missed it. If it's undamaged, then someone opened the door before damaging it. If the latch on the wall is damaged, then either they were careful to damage it after the fact, or the door really was torn open from the inside.

Possible methods of reanimation?
Bloodletter magic? Possible.
Romerol? Possible
Changeling revival? Possible but unlikely.

Call for backup, and find a chemist to have them take a sample and analyze the residue.

You are a modified zero-leveled V-22 unit named CALLIST0. Free of your previous commercial purposes, you currently work as a secretary and personal assistant to an extremely successful concubus.

You’re very proud of holding this position. You're good at your job, and you enjoy the work. You like to keep things neat and tidy, and you like to solve problems.

NSFW content, potential blood/gore/body horror. Updates Mondays(+?).

your ultimate goal here is to serve your madam, right? pay attention to what Jupiter praises and punishes. try to work out what is him doing his job, and what is his deeper preferences. Maybe it will make you better at serving her.

for one, Jupiter seems to like people to do as they're told and nothing more. place the cup in its place on the cart and then stand at attention until you get a new order.

Obviously this customer isn't too accustomed to this song and dance, maybe putting more attention on them would be of use? Figuring out what they want from their "service" to Jupiter and whatnot.

No help though, the master has been benevolent enough with our meddling.

Focus on Rama. Madame will be radiant enough to take your attention regardless, after all. If a failure for him is a failure for you, don't let him fail.

Focus on Rama, and try to figure out why Jupiter finds him so endearing. Try not to intervene too much - he's got to learn how things go, like any other new votary.

All your efforts are made in service to the Madame, and the Madame's current goal is to guide Rama through the scene towards the best possible catharsis, for all involved. Having seen that our minor intervention was acceptable and that allowing Rama to fail amounts to self-injury, our priority should shift towards guarding against his cluelessness as unobtrusively as possible. Focus on him as the sheepdog does its flock—our devotion is too great for the shepherd's commands to elude us, and so no special attention towards them is required.

Otter pipes up.
:rosa_normal_anims: “I’m going to eat some bagels, I reiterate, not the dog, although once I- Oh! anyone wants to zip on over with me?”
Spi looks to Senuia, who nods contently. They leave the table and walk out the doorway to where I presume the cafeteria is located. Chatting optimistically like they're not in a death trap. And I’m finally left alone in a drab, empty room with only my thoughts.

Should I find alex? Or I should try to befriend those three who helped me, I could attempt a more in-depth exploration into one of the rooms we found or get a head start on exploration and keep exploring around before anyone else can.

[1] Try to explore some more and get a general read on areas.
[2] Try to find Alex; if I can’t find him, find where Magicli is to help find him.
[3] Explore a specific room I found along the journey here. (Vote for Specifics)
[4] Think about potential plans or goals. I can try, and try to rationalize what I’m supposed to do in this place (Suggestions)
[5] Attempt to reintroduce myself to the girls whom I’ve traveled with and learn more about them

2. I think we got enough information to share with our BF. And he can catch us up on stuff we missed during the tour.

[2] and, yknow, even though you're trapped here, maybe find out what those special lessons were about, I mean it probably is too good to be true that he'd actually teach, but if he ended up doing so, *and* it gave you a leg up, wouldn't that be good?

>wish but have to bet your life
So if a person dies to it is it a suicide? Speaking of which do we vote nobody for a suicide or do we have to choose themselves? ...What are the limits on the wish? Or could 1 person win and wish us all free? Or just wish themselves free? Sounds like better odds than outwitting over 10 people. Especially if people stay with groups of 3. 3 people vouch as alibis for the group leaving whoever is missing as obvious suspects. Or if 2 members of a group get killed, the third is the obvious suspect to have. Should a group team up for kills 3 vs 3 is bad odds plus having 1/3 chance of randomly being selected is bad odds. Either way it's a bad idea for you to be alone. Just group up, learn effing magic stuff and you all leave alive.
