B, we already did have sent a message to the archer to search for us when midnight strikes, and gave a huge speech about getting our revenge. Also, we need to show Ratislav what real courage is to hopefully inspire him and his troops, and we can’t show cowardice and abandon our goblin.

We,re going to need a plan, and a contingency plan b and c

First plan is to exchange hostages since we do have her accomplice. She'll accept and we are no worse off or she won't and her accomplice finds out how she's willing to leave him to die. Should say no we move to plan 2 which is... uh... dunno. She tore up yakbeet so perhaps she'd be fooled by him being alive? Or perhaps our stealthy scouts could be on hand? Or claim we left abdle because we assumed she was referring to her accomplice - so we need a new exchange of hostages (which buys us time to get a new plan for this)? ...Do we even have non-aligned ground for this exchange? What's stopping her from bringing her employers to kill bobbie? Perhaps she'd see this village as unaligned enough to exchange hostages. While we secretly get the villagers to mob her for what she did. Just spitballing here.

For now, let's get information before we get into serious planning. We still have to hear what Yakbeet has to say about what he witnessed before the cat killed him, any information, no matter how small, can help us figure out a weakness that we can apply to when we are in the planning phase.

They both need to calm down. We aren't loosing Abdle, and we aren't loosing Gram.

We have a hostage, and more importantly, we can pump him for information. He's clearly in over his head, lets let Abdle convince him that the cat needs to give it up, and hopefully he'll spill what would convince her too.
(Despite Bobbie's speech, if we can get the cat to just walk away we take it. We cannot afford to seek revenge right now.)

Aw man, I knew we should have gone with a room that seals shut as a trap.

Pumpkin is going about this all wrong. If they had just helped us we would have been glad to let them on the council. But now they look manipulative. Even if they have genuinely helpful information, why would we trust them. Still, a position on the council is easy to grant, and just as easily taken away. Give them what they ask for, for as long as they behave.

As for birdy, further beatings will yield little. We already broke his leg, he knows we have no qualms about making him pay. We need someone to earn his confidence, and wheedle his secrets out.

Let Pokondirana to join the council, but if we don't like what the pumpkin says we don't need to honor our part of the agreement.

we first play dumb and ask him some things we already learned about the cat through yakbeet that he believes we don't know, like asking him how the cat figured out yakbeet was in disguise, in detail. If he lies and says anything other than what yakbeet telling us, we can do a bit of torture, and we ourselves can lie and scare him by saying we or someone in the room has a hidden ability to tell whether he is lying or not, and if he wants to keep his wings, he will not lie again or something like that.

Of course, we will have to hide yakbeet from him in order for this to work cause if he sees yakbeet, he will know that yakbeet is alive and told us everything. If he believes yakbeet is dead, we can scare him into believing that somebody is a lie detector detecting his lies, and won't dare lie to us if we're to gather more info to help us against the cat.

Perhaps the prince had rivals. Or he was lying about being a prince. Either way not a huge loss. Ooh get the car for reverse engineering! Such a huge advantage! Head back to the castle for now. Just be cautious, guessing the cat is on your tail (pun intended).

right now, we don't know what those goblins are capable of against just the archer and the executor alone as they have an advantage in numbers. We are ill equipped at the moment, but that goblin prince will have to be saved at some point. At the very least, the cat didn't kidnap him.

For now, D. The cat takes priority right now, but we need to do something to deal with the goblin prince's dilemma. Since the spy rat is here, Lets send the rat spy on a new mission to scope out where the goblin prince and goblins went, and spy on them and gather info. If they're rivals, we could get info on them like their weaknesses, what they need in case we need to do a trade, and probably even find the goblin prince when he's alone so we can speak to him through the rat and we can probably even help him escape by giving information. Shouldn't be an issue since the little guy doesn't have to worry about the cat coming after it. Victorio, Please direct the spy rat the direction of where the goblins came from.

the archer and executor will probably have to return to the castle. Having them search for the cat could risk having her kidnapping or injuring them, considering we are holding the crow hostage. We're probably going to need the archer for a ridiculous plan we're coming up with. Tell them to stay away from the river where the cat headed off to.

A) It can't be helped, he probably wasn't a real prince anyway. Arc and Ex are needed back at the castle, no time for wandering the woods.

hmmmm... is he a simp? if so, we are then in a pretty good position to exploit him, kinda like how Cleopatra did with Julius Caesar. B) we should keep a rat-eye on them. While they distract the cat we can maybe set up a trap at the meeting site.

B) Somebody previously suggested sending the Archer to scout the forest near the river. Let's start from there.

2. Extra backup plans for layers of redundancy assure that at least one will get it done. Even if the best plans get you a win even if you lose.

B, definitely, We'll also need a plan B, and maybe a plan C in case a plan fails.

As far as archer goes, I was thinking he would sneak fully attack the cat during the meeting, perhaps during the distraction the performer will cause. But we'll need to know exactly where the meeting is taking place so he can prepare. Does the crow know?

I have one other idea

The cat is afraid of the personification of death

maybe we can use that to manipulate her feelings and fear. We can take the crow hostage with us to the meeting place, and have the performer pretend they want the crow's soul. If the cat is too cowardly to save him, he could at least see that the cat really doesn't care about him. We can also probably pretend we don't see death to make it more dramatic. We'll have to blindfold the crow though so he doesn't see death. Maybe something to cover his ears if we decide to have death talk too?

one scenerio could be we want to trade with the cat our hostage instead of abdle, and if she refuses, we "kill" the crow. we could say something like one cannot escape the fate of death once they have their eyes set on someone. We can knife him (he won't be effected) while at the same time, the performer can do something to make the crow faint. with "death" near us, the cat will be too scared to try any tricks to save the crow.

plan needs refining, we can ponder more about this.

That seems to be Bobbie's usual state. At least, when Abdle's not there. Not many can relate to her situation, and being a ruler is isolating on top of that.

Should be fine since we are cutting some ourself. Like I said, it’s just hair, just give her some to appease her, but tell her to drop the knife on the floor first before you grab it, and let her know we are going to expect something big in return in the future, like a favor for example, no questions asked and without refusing, can’t do this for free after all, otherwise you’ll get walked all over.

I thought we got archer's heart, but I guess we didn't. Things would have been easier if we got Gram's heart so we can figure out where the goblin got kidnapped, and details on the cat's plan, but alas.

I can't decide choosing either Wounded Heart (Nasty Shit) to learn more about her, and since she was with the crow last, we can find out what she learned from the crow. improving our friendship I feel is most important if we want to stay in good relationships with the Headsplitters, and if she ever becomes leader, we'd have pretty powerful allies

Lucid heart (Jestercutioneralist), just out of curiosity seeing as we'd be traveling into the dream of a dream guy, plus would be interesting to see what power abdle can get from that visit, maybe something psychological.

or the misaligned heart (the executioner) just because this guy seems one of the more interesting guys. Considering this guy knows a lot about death since he's an executioner, we might get some insight considering we have someone disguising as death for the meeting.

Can't be dream logic, how we looked in wormwork's dream was how he envisioned us, so the same has to be true here.

Well, what if Wounded Heart didn't represent Nasty, but somebody else, and we're not in her dream, but theirs?

I can't imagine who though, we got notified that we got the wounded heart around the time we chose to go with Nasty and took the druid's potion. not many who was present at the meeting knew of your past, unless they visited your kingdom when you were a kid. Only one I can think of is Heartbeat and he visited your kingdom when you were younger for some reason. can't be wormworks as his heart was different.

Perhaps she's having a flashback to when she was younger and so you are also how you were at that age?
