I have to apologize OMNI, I was creating this short update when there was a three-way tie, and I just had to respond to the wall of text. Honestly, I don't consider this an update. So, previous suggestions are still considered valid. Of course, you are free to change your suggestions if you want.

I'm still sticking to my suggestion of Dizelu since I think it's important to talk to him considering everything, but I will say if we leave that cat alone, and spy rat survives, there's a chance spy rat will end up in Vance's world, and we could get some info about the place he lives at, which I don't know is a good thing or a bad thing considering where he came from. One thing is for certain, there's no doubt what that rat will witness there will be stupid and deranged.

A. Go ahead and eat up. You can eat the same way yoU showed the bleeding baroness your lips, and well, even if you can’t, I think most of the people who we didn’t want your identities revealed to are already gone from this room (like especially that angel pear and her partner, and Kenku to name a few) I think it should be fine to reveal yourself to him if we can’t properly eat with part of it on. It’ll probably be a bit funny too to see his reaction after he said all that to you. It’ll put you in a higher position to him as we try to convince him to our side (especially after Grand Marshall used that perk on him)

Abdle, if you are offended by Bobbie eatting apples, just remember that you are actually a demon, and even if you aren’t a demon, you are too rotten for anyone to want to eat (except worms)

Not voting yet as I need to think, but as it was mentioned here, >>1121124 Dizelu needs proof of villagers making deal and alliances with monsters before he considers an alliance between the guild and Bobbie's kingdom. If anyone can think up some proof, we might be able to convince him.

I also think that mentioning that his own guild having monsters as some of their employees might help push to convince him if he's still not convinced.

Well color me surprised. We have actual overlords to deal with yet the kingdoms are worried about that upstart with a castle surrounded by Humans? She's practically besieged! Why the stars show more danger from the overlords ooh hoo hoo! How about this. Should she pull off a miracle and conquer the locals we'll lobby for a large sum of money so heroes can crush her with extreme prejudice. (Whole idea is to buy time so that others see we're working with the locals. Zero conquering. We relieve the pressure he's dealing with. With that he can change his mind.)

D. hmmmmm... I'm sorry Max, but that answer you gave me is very confusing and contradictory to the facts that I cannot yet give you my answer to your own question yet.

See: if a kingdom having more monsters than humans in it makes its ruler an overlord, then that would make steinhardt an overlord, would it not? he rule over monster birds, and yet, a representative of the guild, Dizelu, is here from his invite. Are you insinuating steinhardt is an overlord too then? That would mean your guild shouldn't be doing any business here, should it?

Ergo, If the guild has any kind of alliace with steinhardt, then see no issues with forming peace between Dizelu's guild, and Bobbie and Abdle's kingdom ooh hoo hoo.

Not to mention, Bobbie and Abdle's kingdom does have a village of humans residing at the kingdom that could use heroes from the guild to help them, they did have a thieving cat causing mischief to them the other day.

C) it hardly matters. Your corrupt system makes negotiation impossible. You pick and choose which races are monsters purely on how you can best use them. If they aren't useful you declare them monsters so you can play-act at being righteous when you slaughter them.

Well, now we got more to work with to help with negotiations. lets see... Him being a living lie detector is going to make things a bit more difficult, but I'm glad he revealed his hand so soon so that we can work around this early, so here's my thought process:

A will just alert him that we are lying. We have been associated with Abdle's sister before.

B will just ruin this whole negotiation for being rude against him.

I C is the safe way to go if we want any kind of chance of becoming allies with the guild, and gaining all it's perks (like those constructs for example) However, that comes with the cost of potentially revealing a weakness.

however, might I suggest:

D. His hatred for Eldba has common ground with Abdle. Ever heard of the enemy of my enemy is my ally? perhaps we can use that example here? I know Abdle has dislike towards his sister Eldba, and that is no lie, so that shouldn't trigger his lie detection.

Something Like "oh... You poor soul... I never realized she did that to you... My deepest condolences."
"Perhaps there is a way we can help you. You see, it may come to shock you that the great Abdle also has a hatred towards Elbda like you."
"Just how deep is your hatred of Elbda is? If it comes to it, would you be willing to work with us in common ground, and ally with a demon ruler of monsters to take down Eldba for everything she did to you? Because a partnership between the guild, and Abdle's and Bobbie's kingdom could be your one and only big chance to defeat her. but yeah overall, D is my main choice. C is my second.

Oh yeah, very good point, thanks. Perhaps instead of "surpass her" use the word "defeat her"

and maybe leave out the "my deepest condolences" from the start, juuuuust in case. would suck if the lie detection activates if Bobbie says that but doesn't mean it. Maybe "I can't imagine how that must have felt" would be better.
