Since I have too little time to actually continue a quest, I thought I'd start this.

ITT: You ask questions to quest characters, and they may answer as the author sees fit!

Obviously this is not meant to spoil any plotpoints, but rather to explore characterdepth and such.
Let's do this!

Can I ask stuff from Reaver? Because I have a couple questions:

First, what exactly made you get bored to Mudy Quest? It's pretty amazing stuff and I'd be pretty happy and excited to run it. Secondly, couldn't you reduce a bit of Raital's Tsundere levels and actually give her some more personality, instead of having her to just be a tool for all of us to manifest our perversions?

Mudy/Raital: I was half hoping for a flashback adventure to the early days with Mudy falling sick and hallucinating. While it would have been delightful I was intrested in your siblings and how we should feel about them. They are not very nice and they are going to kill us, but it would be nice if you assured us they deserve it. Uboa in particular seems more like someone to pity than someone to hate. Wow, this thread served a purpose after all.

>I have no business with them, and neither should he. They are distractions at best.

You're putting all your eggs in the same basket, so to say. There's no room for anyone or anything else within your mind but Mudy, so what will you do if something happens to him? What if he dies? Suddenly there's nothing but void left, and it will all be filled with madness. Same thing in reverse: if something happened to you, and you didn't allow Mudy to have anything else, he would break down completely as well.

You have never had any concern on anybody else but Mudy, and you expect the same of him. But now you have the opportunity to broaden your relationships, and get more friends, and you should seize that opportunity just like he has. You must understand that there is a difference between friendhip and love: even though there is room in your hearts for other people, nothing can ever compare to the bond you two share.

There are things in this world that don't involve him at all - amazing, wonderful, beautiful things. Free from your mother's grip, you have been given the chance to explore them all, and you should - instead, all you have ever done is to replace Mudy's prison with another one, ending his short but wonderful age of freedom and independence. Your love for Mudy is choking him, and you are forcing him to choke you in return. In the end, it will prove to be the destruction of you both.

You do love Mudy, after all. Show that love by loosening your grip.

Fair enough. I'm just hoping you will finish this one at some point.

>Maaan, Raital ain't no tool! She's a murdering machine without a 'be not socially awkward' switch.

At least give Mudy and the others some more opportunities to build one such switch. So many times they have tried, so many times she has seemed responsive at first - only to snap back right away.

There's nothing I enjoy as much as sweet love like this, but there's also nothing that makes me more sad than such love being destroyed.

Is there anything else aside from being able to withstand a hail of arrows and being rammed through a brick wall, strong enough to lift a giant sword and to be afraid of hurting Mudy by accident, fast enough to be invisible for human eye, and ability to heal fatal injuries?

>Maaan, Raital ain't no tool! She's a murdering machine without a 'be not socially awkward' switch.

The only person she speaks with whatsoever is Mudy. That's not gonna make someone less socially awkward, it's gonna make them a lot more awkward around anyone who's NOT that person. Plus, she's pretty much had plenty of opportunities to be incredibly violent. She even killed Kuhral recently, in fact.

Raital and Mudy's relationship has gone through some rough times but it's usually BECAUSE of player suggestions that assume to know everything. I mean it started looking better when she was treated as an equal, but one fucking slip-up and suddenly the entire board is finger-wagging at her like she's an untrained puppy and saying "you're not really in love, you're just horny and can't control yourself".
Real smooth.

Dear Nic, Your bio says you are an affluent businessman. What business do you practice? Do you own your own business, or work for a company? Has this been disrupted by the arrival of Rastin and his tomfoolery?

Dear Sul, Is that outfit comfortable? It seems like it'd be constricting and wouldn't breathe at all. Is there some socio-religious significance?

Dear Muschio, Are you more looking to become an evil-overlord sort of thing? Or do you have a more drastic goal, such as the destruction of the world or merely all the people living in it, leaving only demihumans and your monsters? Are you just sorta playing it by ear?

Dear Nimi, Have you considered investing in mace, or some kind of dentata mechanism?

>Vresch: Favorite warez site?
Technobabble.com. They're hardly an actual warez site, more like a news site. They review and preview new hardware and software, and that's mostly what I need. I find what I need from all sorts of places from there. I don't really need to pirate anything, so I pay for them to support the industry.

>Favorite game?
Mmmm, I'd have to say Journey 3 - Korshak's Rebellion in the RPG department. I'm not big on multiplayer games, but when the mood strikes me I find Mario Kart: True Steel and Halo 7 to be good time killers. I'm not big on Halo 7's new vehicles, though, but I especially like the bio weapons. Very neat concepts there.

Why did I become a Pokemon Trainer? What are my goals? Those are both answered the same way. Red and Blue! (and Green too I guess)

So when I was a kid I was the biggest kid! It was awesome! Those kids Red and Blue were always talking about being Pokemon Trainers though, and so I made fun of them a lot and beat them up. Normal stuff, you know. Then, wouldn't you know it, once they become, like, Pokemon Champions and all, they have the nerve to send ME a letter about how I'M a fizzle!

Well that night I went naked (and drunk) to the ocean's edge, and amidst the crashing waves I swore vengeance! Nobody who I made fun of years ago is gonna call ME a fizzle! Fuck no! When I get my hands on those little bastards I'll... ohhh.... you just wait...

I happen to serve as envoy and liaison between the founders of The Collective and any members/potential members. I was chosen to fill this role partly because of my ability to construct very complex pheromone dialogue, and partly because my Valiance allows me to extricate myself from precarious situations rather efficiently, leaving any trouble to whomever is currently being paid to act as my guard on missions outside The Collective. I get payed rather handsomely for my services considering that I don't have to fight, if I do say so myself, and the post I occupy is not without a certain measure of prestige that I admit to enjoying.

And to those wondering who the founders of The Collective are, well... I am afraid I must be going, duty calls.'

Tyrael's pretty cool. He's the oldest, and technically the real owner of the store, so we basically have to do whatever he says. He mostly stays out of the way, though, and let's me do my thing. Plus, he says I'm the best financial supervisor there is! Because Tyrael hired me, and Tyrael only hires the best, see? Heheh!

Tamana -
My sister is a JEALOUS WHORE. Always trying to tattle on me, and thinking she knows how to do my job better than I do. Of course, I'm pulling in way more money than she ever could. Who cares if I'm pocketing the difference?! She doesn't have to go telling Tyrael about it!
Fuck that bitch. I'm glad she only makes minimum wage.

Prevous -
Ugh. Fat, retarded bastard. I'm trying to run a business here and he keeps eating all my profits. It wouldn't be so bad if he could pay, but he never thinks before he starts shoveling things into his gaping face hole. He smells, too!
At least his sandwich special sells okay... I don't see why people don't like mine...

Naveen -
Naveen keeps asking if I've ever read something called 'Romanticar', and saying how he'd love to help me set up a webcam. Apparently I could make a lot of money that way.
He's never been able to meet my price demands, though. I only charge what it's worth to me~

Kal -
Kal's... okay. He's constantly asking for bail money, and we have to keep him hooked up with ammo and smokes. He's also a financial liability, since he's always threatening or getting pissed off at the customers. But he keeps the store safe, and he always pays me back before too long.
I don't ask where the money comes from~

Laloth -
Laloth's easy to get along with. I don't think any of us dislike him, although he's completely impossible to rely on. But he'll go along with anything, and he's good to watch the store, and there's nobody better to just hang out with in a nice, inexpensive way.
Also, he lets me borrow his stuff whenever I want~!

>GOSHEN
>WHAT IS BEST IN LIFE

Mmm...

I'd have to say... The feeling right after a fight. Not any fight, but a real close one, where I had a good chance of getting killed. The feeling right afterward, where I've won. Or even just survived. Where one wrong step could've made me spill my life out on the sand, but instead I'm alive. I'm alive and it feels so good. So fucking good just to be alive. The air smells sweet because my lungs still work. The soreness in my arms feels like I've just had a good workout. Food, drink, even my own blood in my mouth. It all tastes so good.

I'm sorry. Was that not what you were looking for?

If you remember from the basic biology course, Durans have a very well developed respiratory system. In comparison to let's say... mammals. The infections that attack the respiratory tract are rare (and mostly severe) amongst us. While the skin infections are a plague and we try to shield ourselves from them by wearing these articles of clothing. They're tailored to be comfortable and pleasing to wear, so even if we would at one point managed to find a cure to the Flax disease, I doubt you would see Durans dressing differently.

I hope that explains a lot.

>So are you and your kin Demons or Daemons? I'd say Daemons as you're not the "rar, kill all humans and eat their souls" sort that generic demons are.

We're demons, in the classical sense. There are not as many of us as you would think, and we get most of our bad reputation because Balrog is a monster. He's the Fire demon, and he's your typical "Kill everything with fire" type. He's also the most frequently summoned of us, simply because you can just point him in a direction and say go. You don't need a mindlink for what you usually want him to do for you. Its just a matter of catching him again afterwards, and summoners are usually a pretty smart lot.

The others aren't much better. Mepheis is a bitch, Toldon is an outright liar, Gibbin is a gibbering moron. If we weren't all immortal I would probably not have made it to the now.

Mepheis is Ice, Toldon is Sky, and Gibbin is Slaughter. And I don't know anyone named Cornelia, but if you mean Cora, then she sent Balrog. I took my sweet time taking him apart. He'll be recovering for a couple dozen years, at least.

[Cora does know how to summon each of these demons, and two others: Krysis, demon of Earth, and Nroj, demon of Disease.]

It's not that you need to "compensate" for all the sergal art, it's that there needs to be more questions for the other folks.

If you don't want to see more sergal art, then stop asking the sergals questions. Maybe ask Tav if his ass glows like his shoulders do, or if Plessy has other friends like Zubat?

Well before I met Gus most of my jobs where very low end, most of which involved divorced couples wanting to get back something from the other without getting their fingerprints on it. But there was this one heist similar to the one I was performing when I met Gus in which I was trying to steal a rare gem on tour in our local museum, apparently the guy I was working for had been trying to get it for years to perform fossil research. You have no idea the security they built up around it, and that it could all be taken out by taking out a single fuse in the museum's basement. That was probably my biggest, most successful heist, though probably not the most difficult in my career.

There was also one involving a pet alligator that caused me more trouble then it was worth, sad news is, the gator died, the good news is, he totally deserved it.

Gus: Did you really get all these jobs? You seem really young for it.

I was the only thief in the neighborhood, so if someone wanted something without getting their stuby fingers on it, I was the only one to come to.

Pitchy: I like your stories Liz, there real cool!

>Apparently, quite a number of fa/tg/uys like how you look.

Well, thank you~

>Is your figure typical for your race, or are you particularly gifted in the HIPS department?

Part of it has to do with what type of Lazuhrek you're dealing with. I'm a Jungle Lazuhrek. We tend to have large powerful leg muscles and sharp claws with strong grip for slinging ourselves through the trees, or simply running swiftly on the ground.

River Lazuhrek have a thick layer of fat to keep them warm when they're deep under water.

And Mountain Lazuhrek have biiiig upper torsos allowing them to climb and power through harsh terrain, however, their legs are relatively small compared to their upper bodies. As a result, they usually plod along on all fours most of the time.

But I suppose I have been referred to as "hippy" by the other Lazuhrek back home~

>Aggeia: How does your squeezing through tight openings work?

Well, of course there's a limit to how small a hole I can squeeze through. It's done with a combination of dislocating some bones, some bones just being collapsible, along with a lot of my organs. Smaller spaces are never fun and I can't really spend a whole lot of time there since I basically can't breathe when I do that. But the drains in the Engsami fort are wide enough that I shimmy through there well enough.

With all of that fluff, do your people ever take jobs as pipe cleaners or chimney sweeps?
Or is it too difficult to tell when something is dirty?

F'wah!

Telling when something's dirty is usually easy enough by smell... but when you're covered in filth, it's hard to smell if something's clean, so we wouldn't really know when to stop.

Why certainly! That'll be twenty dollars for the song, payable upfront to my account.

W-What can I say? He's... a dork. A really nice and h-helpful dork, I guess. Though it's kind of... s-strange that he knew where and how to get false IDs at the drop of a hat. A bit suspicious, yanno? ... anyway, I'll probably stick with him to Colorado. ... god, I'm going to need a place to live soon. Don't think I can go back now...
