This post brings up a good point- what can anyone do against the Padre? Given what he is, even if nobody had died and they were all in perfect shape, the Padre would win hands down. I second the notion of bringing both. Consider:
-Both seem sincere in their desire to help, but should one go rogue, the other will be there to help Nan deal with him. Should Nan or Kim be alone with the only traitor, she would likely die, and should both be traitors, we're fucked anyway.
-If one stays behind with Kim and the Padre shows up, they both die. If both go with Nan, the three have better odds of dealing with whatever situation arises quickly to get Kim safe ASAP.
-If Kim dies anyway, then having one of the men with her wouldn't have changed that.
That said, let's not forget that panel 466 was http://tgchan.org/kusaba/questarch/res/438515.html#448676. IIRC that hasn't been relevant yet, and I doubt that Weaver would have that happen for no reason. I still say we bring both, but perhaps we should proceed cautiously.
