Everyone ends up on the same platform. There are four teleporters, but none are active. A keyhole in each is the only distinctive mark.

Alison can also tell that this is a safe zone; no one can attack while here.

There are four light trails heading off of this platform. Each one has a sign in front, labeled as Fight Key, Puzzle Key, Scavenger Key, and the Freeroam Key.

We should suggest and try farming smuggler before doing any tier three stuff. Since if he becomes tier 3, he looses persistence, and if we become tier 3 with immunity, we might cancel it. We'd be getting him as high on tier two as possible, then farm him for CU. Unless something officially says he wouldn't lose merchant, he should never be made into a tier 3.

>>423539
It also just straight up cancels every aggressive absorption boon except rend ghost.

And lets her win absorption contests against everyone except other immunity 2 absorbers.

So yeah, I can see her needing immunity 2, and everyone needing at least immunity 1.

How about immunity 2, range 2, increased damage 2, and knockback. With the rend ghost and double offense boons. and all absorption boons, of course. This makes her a decent striker with some enemy control, and the best absorber she can be.

She shouldn't need damage reduction, that's what the protector and healer would be for.

Like a protector with full immunity, full damage reduction, full protector, and block light trail. That gives us a strong defender who can stop attacks, and keep attackers from getting too close.

And a healer with immunity 1, full platform creation, full path creation, and max heal, with the throw and heal range boons. That gives us a strong support who opens up a lot of mobility.

Then maybe a secondary striker/utility character. Like immunity 1, increased damage 2, range 1, block trail 1, remove platform 1, and full scanning.

Or just make them a max tier 2, so they can do all the tier two shenanigans, like being thrown, teleporting, then switching places with someone else in the party, to do huge movement quickly.

Lagotrope is dodgy about if persistence is affected by immunity, but says that Smuggler would keep persistence and merchant if he went tier three, so he can be safely raised up to tier three.

This is based on the fact that he both beat Alison's absorb AND ignored our first strike ranks. I suppose he could have rank 8 or higher in Absorb Priority but the first strike issue is proof.

Unless I guess Immunity makes you immune to absorb in general?

>>423553
Wait no that's dumb it didn't make him immune to absorb.
>>
No. 423557 ID: c811c4

I'm just forgetting to specify all sorts of important details.

Ranks in immunity does only grant basic immunity for everything tier 1/2 (including range), but in terms of priority, a tier 3 character automatically beats out a tier 2 character in every manner of priority boons (though not priority given by ability ranks themselves). In attacks, absorptions, all of that. Given this, Alison will also receive refunds for any priorities in absorb she had, as although they are under the exemption list, there is no point in having them. This does mean that every Tier 3 person attacks at the same time, and has equal absorption priority (assuming they did in fact get rank 10 absorb), a situation that hasn't been encountered as of yet.

Apologies around, I should have waited until I got some sleep before going additional rules everywhere.

Okay, then Immunity 2 protects against First Strike, Scatter Damage, and regular Double Attack. Not worth a million CU, no way! Immunity 1 is worthwhile though.

I would suggest Alison use the following build instead of the one I suggested here >>423523
Immunity 1
Increased (damage) 4
T3 Range 2

With that, we oneshot anyone that isn't Protected, Blocking, or has damage reduction. That spends an extra 900k though.
>>
No. 423564 ID: 886a4d

The thing is Enforcer DOES have damage reduction 3. And he is the one we need to kill. And Immunity 2 also covers double attack... which can one shot someone without damage reduction. An uncapped tier 2 can use teleport and switch position to easily outmaneuver a tier 3 as well.
>>
No. 423565 ID: 09e5bf

>An uncapped tier 2 can use teleport and switch position to easily outmaneuver a tier 3 as well.

though neither of these target enemies, so there's nothing you can really do about it other than have your own tier two, or make use of throw and platform/path creation/blocking for tier three field control.
>>
No. 423567 ID: 886a4d

I'm more worried about teleporting swarm with a tier 2 double attack since most are recommending no damage reduction for Alison, we're headed back to the era of 1-shot kills now.

I think Alison should be built assuming she'll be in a party. There should be at least a protector and a healer in the group with her.

As the enforcer showed, a tier three can lose to tier 2s. I doubt there's a build that could fix that.

That teleporting swarm could still teleport, since that doesn't affect Alison. But if she has a protector, that swarm blows all their attacks on a guy who reduces damage by 75%, and he gets healed immediately afterward.

The fight with Enforcer will go like this:
Alison gets within range and attacks. He loses half his armor.
Alison stays put and he'll likely move towards us. This is when we use Double Offense, resulting in him getting knocked down to 1/4th hp.
Alison then moves towards him. It doesn't matter what he does, he's dead and he can't oneshot any of us.

After we get Duelist back, we should bring him up to Tier 3 and get him T3 Protect 2, Block, and Damage (reduction) 3. This will cost about 10 million.
>>
No. 423604 ID: 886a4d

If we are going to do full specilization I support:
Immunity 1
Damage Increase 4
Range 2

With the boons Float, Double Offence and Rend Ghost.

However right now we can really only afford to get Alison up to t3 at the moment. While we could squeeze in one more person it would begger us and leave us with no uncapped tier 2s. My biggest concern is that the Enforcer will not be alone next time he spawns since we did defeat him with only one death. Either we exploit the Smuggler or we use the remaining 10 million to uncap 6 people for support. If they are judges all 6 should have 2 red gloves each to eliminate them quickly so they can't take advantage of Alison's lack of first strike / double strike immunity.
>>

>However right now we can really only afford to get Alison up to t3 at the moment.

That is, unless we can use smuggler's persistence to farm CU, or account for the fact that he can charge double for upgrades, which we can turn to using to upgrade Alison's party.

Corruptor said 200% was fine for Smuggler's prices, but keep in mind we're looking at our budget from the perspective of paying 100%. We should discuss Smuggler's cut before we buy anything, to stay honest.

Also I'd like to bring up that fact that the other lords are mostly bad people so maaaaaybe we should restrict Rend Ghost? That's a power that I do NOT want in the hands of Obliterator, for example.

I thought we'd just treat smuggler like any of Alison's other friends. Right now we prioritize getting Mako back, but we should have Smuggler eventually fully upgraded just like we will for the rest of Alison's. Otherwise his profits go into the group pool for now, and he can generally get whatever he asks for.

Smuggler realizes there's a difference! Immunity 2 costs 500,000 instead of a million. However, that still puts her over her decided build, so she gets immunity 1, Increased Damage 4 and Tier 3 Range 2. This costs her 1 million to get to tier 3, 9.7 on stats, and another 1.5 million for getting Rend Ghost, Double Offense and Float. Her refunded boons come out to refund for 119,380, making the total costs 12,080,620.

Alison has 9,793596 CU remaining, and decides that's all she should get for now before offering her hand to the Smuggler to bring him to the safe zone, after bringing the rest of her friends back to the corrupted sanctuary.

Alison talks about his share, and he says he doesn't need CU, but it's a nice gesture. He's willing to put his gains in the pool, and couldn't imagine keeping all of it.

Also, at Alison's request, the Smuggler will keep Rend Ghost a secret.

At first she wonders if the item worked, but it turns out the new sanctuary is a copy of stage 5's safe zone.

There doesn't appear to be a huge disaster or anything, so perhaps it is time to open the smuggler to the public unless there is something she's forgetting, or if she wishes to bring some people to tier 2. However, Smuggler says if there's that many people that want to enter tier 3 and get charged 200%, those tier 2 allies of Alison may end up going straight to Tier 3 anyway.

We should probably bet on this being the case.

Hold off on offering Rend Ghost until Corruptor or Arbitrator have a say on it. That's a pretty serious boon.

I don't think shapeshift will be a big deal, given its limitations.

We should tell Corruptor about it, and that to save a player who is Rended by an Enforcer, you have to Rend the Enforcer. So, SOME people should have it, just so we can rescue folks without relying on just Alison.
>>
No. 423698 ID: 886a4d

We should say that anyone who we do not personally introduce should be restricted from Rend Ghost... and since we've already introduced Arbiter that solves that... perhaps we should ask Arbiter to take our concerns about it to the Corrupter as well so people spying on us won't listen in when we bring it up.
>>
No. 423703 ID: c7dc56

We should talk to arbiter and corrupter about forming our enforcer-hunting team. Remember, the chest-runs had a limited judge run based on the systems lack of focus on any single team. If we start actively seeking out enforcers with a single team built to fight back, the system will be able to prioritize that team and send in like 20 enforcers. I think we need many many many teams actively hunting to disperse the enemies power. In fact, if we can start stirring up minor acts of disobedience in the open brackets, we can really thin out their efforts. We should talk to corrupter and arbiter about forming enforcer hunting teams.

Alison heads back, getting Arbiter's opinion about hiding Rend Ghost. He says she should definitely tell the corruptor, but she likely holds enough weight to hold it from the others.

>Shapeshift
Arbiter says that the existence of it is public knowledge, but it hasn't been a widespread problem, though perhaps Alison's missing CU may have been because of that.

Sure enough, the Corruptor is sympathetic to her reasons. Again, he admits the other lords are not as cooperative as he would like, and understand why she would want to hide such a thing. He suggests it be kept between the Smuggler, Alison, himself and Arbiter, and for Alison not to tell anyone she brings to Tier 3 to keep it down low as well. Rumors spread easy and fast, after all.
>>
No. 423708 ID: b4798d

I'm thinking we should cut Arbiter and his followers some slack on the price markup - maybe 125% or so for them. Possibly the same for Corrupter and those who work directly for him.

>Enforcer hunting teams

The corruptor says that he does have a trust for some directly under himself, and believes he can make a hunting team for that. Arbiter does as well, and the Corruptor mentions that Alison need not worry about the forming of teams outside her own members.

>Price markdown for Corruptor/Arbiter
Alison was planning on charging no extra for Corruptor/Arbiter, both of which greatly appreciate the gesture.

She will have plenty of room from the other four houses. For every one person that each of them brings to 10 million, Alison will be able to bring one of her own to 10 million, with a 100% markup.

Corruptor asks if there is anything Alison would like to discuss prior making the new sanctuary public.
>>
No. 423720 ID: 886a4d

I think that is it... well besides extending an invitation to our party once the Mansion is finally finished. Looks like we won't be seeing much outside house attendance. Once alone with the Arbiter we should do the same for him.

>100% shopkeep returns yields enough CU to max one of Alison's party members for every time someone else does it.
Alison corrects herself, as ability ranks are spent directly, not bought.

She remembers that she has yet to formally invite the Corruptor to her party once her mansion is done.

He looks flabberghasted, if happy. He says he'll make a point to try and attend, provided no urgent business comes up.

Arbiter is most certainly welcome, and he says he'll most certainly come.

With that, the Corruptor will make the sanctuary public.

The two sanctuary's appear to be synced on the same timeline, so the Shopkeep can be visited at any time. Alison heads over and waits until Shopkeep is alone before speaking to him.

Within 2 hours, the shopkeep gives Alison 42,898,500 CU before business subsides. She now has 52,692,096 CU total.

Alison also mentions those vinelike things in the background, noting that she doesn't know what they are.

Light trails, as to move around Rest Areas and Stages perhaps?

We need to get our Enforcer killers up to stat first before anything else

Suggested Stat allocations,
Scanner:
Immunity 2
Damage Reduction 1
Damage Increase 2
Item Cancel 3
Scan 2

Float, Block, Selective Item Cancel

Healer:
Immunity 2
Damage Reduction 1
Inc. Damage 1
Range 1
Healer 5

Float, Block, Heal Range

Iso:
Immunity 2
Block Light Trail 3
Create Light Trail 3
Remove Platform 3
Create Platform 3

Float, Block, Throw

Gaurdsman:
Immunity 2
Damage Reduction 3
Inc. Damage 1
Protector 2

Float, Block, Double Offence

If Alison was typical four more should cost us 48 million CU. To complete the team I suggest later we add Recluse and Duelist as another Protector / Striker to round us off. The rest of the money should go towards Judge hunting teams and maybe getting Bandit and Succubus shapeshift.

Once we kill Enforcer permanently we can definately pay back our house memebers, preferable with interest.

Alison will pour in a good chunk to speed up construction, especially the observatory. This would likely be necessary anyway, as the Engineer says that making a lens of a huge magnitide is no easy task.

Within a few seconds of falling, they teleport back. Atlas by a split second came first, as he says he was farther down, so it appeared that they teleport back up after they fall down a certain distance.
