This story is set in the same world as Rotten Apple and Hero vs Villain Dynamic. The story will primarily be dealing with a lot of paperwork and bureaucracy.

B. Mention that one of the symbols on the heroes temperament was that she was easy to anger, and we should have paid more attention to that, especially with how suspiciously overly friendly she was being.

huh, I thought the issue was going to be about the quest description being tampered with, with the crest being removed. This seems like a totally different issue. I'd like to ask about that

So B

Depending how things go, we might need to bring in the quest giver

B) Is it possible that this is just a big misunderstanding?

C) Is it possible for two quest givers to give the same quest to other heroes?

D) Is it possible that a mistake has been made during the quest assignment?

One thing just occurred to me. Is the ghost that they have been dealing with is the same one that we sent cat to capture? If that is the case can this conversation be postponed until she is brought it for questioning? She can answer questions about this discussion and clarify some things.

regardless of anything else there should be paperwork. if hero 1 isn't lying then it sounds like there is someone pretending to be a quest giver. or a quest giver who isn't following the rules.

certainly sounding like it. I think if we want to get to the bottom of this, then C might be our answer.

If two different quest givers offering the same quest to different heores isn't allowed, then Hero 1 may have been tricked, especially if his quest giver was nowhere to be found, and everyone says that quest giver doesn't work at this location.

B) Somebody sabotaged the guild.

C) There was a mistake that caused this problem.

Well, if only one quest giver can give a quest to multiple heroes and two quest givers can't give the same quest to their own hero, then it stands to reason that hero 2's quest giver gave this quest they were responsible to assign a hero to to both the hog hammerer and hero 2, while being sneaky with hog hammerer.

If I were to guess why, the drowned spirit is a very difficult monster to deal with, labeled as a high danger. Probably something only a legendary or mastered rank hero can deal with on their own. Lower ranked heroes would need to partner with another hero to stand a chance. For one reason or another, I guess the quest giver was desperate to get a partner for hero 2, and decided to pull this malicious stunt on hog hammerer to do so.

>>
No. 1128184 ID: ab5403

Based off of them immediately smiling over us bringing up the possibility of an imposter, it's clear they are both in on this.

But, after that incident with that damn cat, I feel we need to know our place and not confront our boss over this, as a monster, we don't have a lot of sway and can't do much. We'd probably get in trouble.

But if they are both going to lie, we might as well make them stew in this lie until it becomes too hot for them to handle.

A. BUT, give the idea of setting up a quest for a hero to investigate and hunt down this imposter. An imposter causing chaos like this in this respectable guild needs to be punished as it damages the reputation and TRUST towards our heroes!

They'll have no choice but to agree since Hog Hammerer is here if they want to make this so called lie believable to him, and have it snowball into something they can't control later.

Not sure what the difference between A and C is. But regardless, A. We need to let this hero know that heroes can't give other heroes quests, as it can lead to another situation like this. and you'd rather not see the Hammerer get in trouble after working hard to getting this far.
>>
No. 1129169 ID: d46662

I changed my suggestion from B) to A). We can't just give hin the quest so that he will give it to somebody else but what we can do is assign it to him. He is the one who is the most invested in finishing it and it seems right that he ends up being the one who actually did. I presume that the two other individuals won't complain about that.

>>
No. 1129181 ID: c31a69

A. It's the best outcome we can get all things considered. The Hog Hammerer is doing his job we gave him in the name of justice. While we couldn't solve this mystery ourselves due to our limitations as a monster as going against our boss would be trouble, at least giving this quest to Hammerer would help make light of the conspiracy going on at the heroes guild. and Dizelu showed he's weak enough for a mere monster like you to blackmail if you so choose

Just give a nod of approval, and walk on.
