B) Talk with Von Carline.

C) Ignore both of them.

B, just to get her out of our… hair (don’t say that out loud). Politely offer her a seat so we can get straight to business
Gotta know our place

Tell chirpins you’ll talk to him later if you get time as this is important, but if not, you’ll try to wake up early tomorrow for the weather report. Early… bird gets the worm (also don’t say that part out loud)

A) I will help you with getting back your construct if you raise the payment reward for all of the quest performances.

B) I don't think that I can help you with that.

C) I don't want to get involved with that.

B. I think this will cut into time that we can be doing other important things, like meeting with Chirpins next time.

Just let her know that maybe Shrimpy can convince him? But if she is not up to doing it, maybe this is something she should probably bring up with Dizelu so he can reprimand that hero for stealing her construct.
>>
No. 1129373 ID: ce8213

B) that does sound like irresponsible behaviour on their part. We can certainly tell the one hero that they will have to return the construct. Pet or not, it isn't theirs. As for actually disciplining them, we are only a clerk and haven't the authority. We can back your word that the constructs were all sent out in working order, if you wish to pursue the matter further with the guild.

B, I don't know, the hero told me she'd only take the construct if a lucky coin was flipped. We can do another test on this construct without luck and with a different hero next time.

(We told the truth, the hero did tell us she would only take the construct if we flipped the coin. We're just Leaving the description vague enough to imply that it might have been her that flipped it, or it could have been us. We never said who was the one who flipped the coin. That way, Von will hopefully assume that the hero flipped the coin and won't ask us to give her our coin to make sure we don't do it again.)

>I think this will cut into time that we can be doing other important things, like meeting with Chirpins next time.

You weren't supposed to say that part out loud!!!!! Ah well, next time I'll specify.
>>
No. 1129434 ID: 8c780d

Actually, don’t mention anything about the coin. Just say the hero did that (technically true) and we can do the test again with a different hero if she wishes.

Surface Crawler did good.

Gambler Knight did very good. However, since it relied on the construct and using it for luck, I'm not sure if promotion is the best thing. Maybe pass on to whichever of our fellows gets the gambler next to consider it...

Naughty Sheep did good.

Shadow Taker also did good.

Jester Knight too, did good.

Alchemy Knight should learn to be more careful. Definitely not gonna be able to go into more dangerous missions until recovery..

Village Champion is a chicken. Not sure what else to say.

Corpse Lover has straight up disappeared.

I don't know how promotions work, however...and how many you're supposed to give out at a time.
>>
No. 1129540 ID: ebc824

Surface Crawler: Ranked A. Really excellent work! Capturing that phantom must have been really risky. If she managed to trap all the other pieces and not just the main, it would have probably be a Ranked S, but that would be going above and beyond.

Gambler Knight: Ranked A. Being able to stop some very dangerous bomb toads without anyone getting hurt is quite a feat, even if lucky.

Naughty Sheep: Ranked B. The hero totally destroyed the hydra, and kept the construct safe while the construct kept him safe. However, he stole the construct and will need to return it. For doing something so unheroic, it can't be an A rank.

Shadow Taker: Ranked S (as much as I hate to admit) this was a powerful creature that previous heroes had trouble with. she managed to also finish another quest on the side.

Jester Knight: Ranked A. Capturing the necromancer's apprentice without killing or hurting her was excellent. Though that is to be expected since the two know each other well.

Alchemy Knight: Ranked B. Those fungi are quite dangerous, and the Alchemy knight risking himself to beat them is quite a difficult task. If he didn't breathe in those spores and got sick, it would have been an A. Get well soon, Alchemy Knight.

Village Champion: Ranked C. Hero became a delicious chicken, and could not bring the hand to its destination. But at least the quest is complete, and we know where the hand is at, and is secured in a chest...

Corpse Lover: Ranked D. the hero is MIA, and there is no proof of completion. The reason why it isn't an F is because The strange anomaly is gone at least. Hopefully it won't come back.
>>
No. 1129568 ID: ce8213

good jobs across the board, except those last two.

I hope village chicken can get some help getting, if not back to normal, than at least a more anthro shape. not good job

As for CT, we won't know if they did a good job until the anomaly comes back. If it doesn't come back then Good Job Corpse Lover, wherever you are.
>>
No. 1129604 ID: ebc824

As for promotions:

Surface Crawler: Probably not. I would have said yes to promoting her, but she refused to take one of the more harder jobs that was ranked as a high danger. Until she is more confident in her abilities, I'd say probably not yet. But let her know that she is stronger than she thinks she is.

Gambler Knight: That's a tricky one. The hero used luck manipulation to conquer that quest through a flip of a coin. I'd love to see how Gambler Knight does if the coin was flipped to unlucky and manages to succeed, or maybe even not flip a coin. But then again, the coin is a tool much like a sword.

Naughty Sheep: Sorry, no promotion. A hero that steals can't be ranked up. He should at least be thankful that we didn't suggest to demote him over this, cause he did an admirable job defeating the monster while protecting the construct in what he might see as an escort mission (that protects him too). Maybe as an incentive: if he returns the construct, he can rank up. But otherwise, no

Shadow Taker: Rank her up I guess. Her work was perfection there.

Jester Knight: At first, I was going to say no promotion because since the person she was up against was a friend who she knows how to deal with, but y'know, sometimes knowing your enemy and having connections is a tool for heroes. Plus, she is probably in beginner rank because people are too scared to rank her up and put her in more dangerous missions just because she is the king's jester.

Alchemy Knight: No rank promotion. But a really good effort I think. Just try to be more observant next time, We need our heroes to be more careful of their own health before they can rank up to more harder quests.

Village Champion: He's a chicken now that Fluffy secretly wants to eat, can't get any more demoted than that.

Corpse Lover: MIA. Can't say for sure until this hero returns with results.

A) I need you to go find Chirpins and talk with him.

B) I need you to go and find the Naughty Sheep hero and convince him to return the construct.

C) You need to find Dizalu and tell him about the incident with the Naughty Sheep.
>>
No. 1129697 ID: 7de9dc

I’d say C, but after seeing Dizelu’s actions, I don’t think it’s wise to get his help, at least not yet. Save him for last resort

Go with B. Shrimpy is very persuasive~
I think she can convince Naughty Sheep

We already told Chirpins we will see him tomorrow, and much earlier told him our visits wouldn’t be every day

When she eventually leaves, let’s talk to Truffles and ask about the guilds we don’t have good standings with. Want to make sure we are not sending our proof to any guilds associated with enemies of the kingdom we live under. Wait until DeaveLa leaves before you ask. Otherwise she might yell at Truffles for not teaching us sooner.

Pick what you have and send it to any of the new or old areas.
>>

Hmm, so here >>1130055 she told us she wants us to send ALL of our proofs to the unfavorable kingdoms, so I guess as per her request we can't send to areas we have good standings with at this time.

Head of stone hydra: send to steep rift. The spirit of a very rocky mountain might appreciate a giant stone hydra head as a sacrifice. Hope we can get some gold or even diamonds out of it and they like to offering enough to do more business with us.

Necromancer's aprentice: send her to Bulbusslrier. Bulbusslrier as a pacifist area probably hates our violent ways, and probably did not trade with us before because the proofs the guild received in the past were obtained violently.
Jester Knight said that she would not try to kill Necromancer's apprentice and would just instead convince her, and she managed to capture her without a scratch on each other. Sending Necromancer's apprentice will show Bulbusslrier that we are a guild that is fully capable of doing things without killing anyone, maybe even non-violently. This is the only quest that was completed non-violently. Perhaps they can use her necromancy skills to bring dead plant-life back to life? Maybe help them talk to dead relatives that died violently? In return, they can show her the value of not using necromancy for evil and teach her other ways of doing things. This is all for reeducation purposes. Just warn the Necromancer's apprentice that if she does anything funny, their god the flying oblivion will smite her ass.

Drowned Spirit: send to Ever Esther. The Drowned Spirit in its name, drowned. Ever Esther may forbid trades with our guild, but perhaps maybe the sea life know who the spirit was when she was alive? Like, the sea claimed her life, now it can claim her soul too. The sea god might appreciate having a strong spirit like her as sacrifice along with its vessel that drowned long ago and might make our relationships with Ever Esther go better...

Defeated Fungus: send to Gaeldath, Their exchange rate may be shit when it comes to money, but if they have the best doctors, they could use that defeated fungus try to research and make a new antidote out of it for the Alchemy Knight before the fungus infection does something worse to him. I think the key to having better relationship between them and our guild here is to trade with them not expect much money from them, but instead, trade expecting the best medication or potions for their healing. Our heroes could use the potions and medications.

Bomb toad ashes: send to druids in Vilel shade. If these are the same druids that had the bomb frogs, they might want those ashes back as a way of remembering their fallen animal companions. Gambling knight has good standing with them, and probably smoothed things over with them. Sending these ashes back to them can show we aren't totally heartless and might help relationships at least a little.

Screaming Phantom: I guess Vreasarvill? I don't know, that place seems to fit the most for this phantom, but really, none of the guilds listed in the not-so-good relationship really fit. Screaming Phantom can probably be used to their advantage as a weapon if they're smart about it and they tame that phantom. If anything, they did send us a poisonous vine before that was dangerous if we mishandled it, but we used it to our advantage. Same deal here.
