Baby Chocolate Song

For the penultimate time, we converse with Ceri's parents...
Not much longer until Dragon's Day!
I've already bought all the decorations we'll need!
Barely. I wanted to clean out the entire store, but your mother wouldn't let me.
There's a reason I'm in charge of finances, dear.
Oh boy... Dragon's Day... it'll be fun...
Something wrong? You don't sound too excited.
It's just...
I can't shake the feeling something awful's gonna happen.
Especially with Mrs. F being there.
Oh, don't worry about that. I can handle her.
It was my idea to invite them, remember? I wouldn't have done that if she posed any legitimate threat.
Yeah, and I've been talking to Skif's father. I think he's coming around.
You've been talking to him, Dad?
I talked to him some too. I think we made some real progress.
That probably helped!
J-just helped? Surely my well-argued points were what made him come around!
What got through to him was our Dad Convo. We dads understand each other on a deeper level than others.
You see, mammal mothers have a completely different experience than reptilian ones. Laying vs Carrying, and all.
But fatherhood? That's the same regardless of species. It truly unites us all as one.
Not all mothers have relationships as complicated as me and Adele's.
Even if the methods of rearing are different, we still share the experiences of watching our children learn and grow.
There's plenty of bonding to be had there, too.
That's why even a huge bitch like Adele has to yield to my raw motherly might.
B-but surely I changed their minds a little.
Nah it was mostly us.
Entirely us.
(IT TOTALLY WASN'T.)
H-how about I just tell you about my day.
Go ahead, dear!
I'll go ahead and just list them out here so we can keep the image count down. Gotta fit day 7 into this thread too!
-Skif-
I met with Skif in the COMBAT CHAMBER.
Did you beat him up?
Yeah, I guess so.
That's my girl~
It's good to know you can handle yourself in a fight.
Especially since you never showed interest in learning riflery with me.
No need to shoot when you have guns like these.
She didn't let you teach her about fisticuffs either, dear.
It's true but you don't have to say it.
At first, he got upset that I wasn't 'taking it seriously'.
But it turned out he was just worried about us, and the various threats that exist out there.
It makes sense to fight me, since I'm probably the strongest person who isn't Gulketi.
Please. I'm right here.
The little fluffy guy is that tough!?
You don't have 65% armo(u)r, Mom.
I have enough.
My scales are tougher than your hide, love. It's why you haven't killed me yet.
Wanna canonize the number for funsies?
Well, mine's 15%, and your mother's is 6%.
Numbers are fun!
Come on, let's focus on the numbers that matter, like VIGOR!
I have 8, which is much higher than your father's paltry 4.
Y-you didn't have to tell her mine!
You started it.
...So yeah, it makes sense for Skif to test his skills against me in particular.
Especially since I'm the closest we can get to fighting an actual dragon.
(Well, there's always Gulketi. But he doesn't have a lot of magic or insane ARMO(U)R at his disposal.)
I just hope he doesn't fall apart, worrying about me and his parents so much.
As long as he has you to support him, I know he'll be fine.
Heehee, thanks. I'll do my best to keep him in check.
Hmm, what else did I do today...
-Tempest-
I uh... I met with Tempest again...
Oh? Did you help her feel better?
Y-yeah, you could say that!
Why are your scales so flush?
And how?
Honey, we're not supposed to ask that particular question.
Oh, right.
Ceri, have you and Tempest... is she yet another new romantic partner??
WAIT WHAT!?
I-I-I u-um...
How do you respond?
A: Yep!
B: No...?
C: Spaghetti
