One of the hardest lessons I've had to learn is to not let my mistakes haunt me.
Like you, I looked up to the dragons I read about in books. The dragons of old were so noble, so wise.
I wanted to be like them. Heck, I still want to revive the hono(u)r they've since lost.
But I don't need to kill myself living up to the idealized dragons in those books.
I've decided to do things my own way. To be the type of dragon I want to be. Flaws and all.
Your dragons, and my scientists...

That's just how it goes sometimes.
Sex didn't define those scientists. It doesn't define me. It won't define you.
Nor will destroying yourself in the name of prestige and glory.
We are defined by the people we care about. The people who care about us.
Like Gulketi and Siphon. I bet they have lots of reasons to care about you.

They do. We all care about you. We want you to be yourself. To be happy with who you are. To be willing to make mistakes.
To ask for help when you need it.
There's no greater joy than helping our friends, after all.
So let's be proud of who we are. Not who we think we should be.

Eezeryh... I had no idea you felt that way.

I'm just glad Ceri's able to be there when I can't, even if her hugs lack fluffy goodness.

We definitely need to drag her into comfy-style hugs more.
