I got her to come around, but she was mostly into the combat. Not so much the flowers part.

Now then! This time there's much less focus on the combat and the spooky bosses.
It's just you and Penny growing a Ninja Garden, using your kunai to dig holes for your plants.
It really is a much different experience than playing with Daatra. Penny gets so excited when you show her all the unlockable flowers!
She even shares your amusement that all the flowers wear ninja masks.
And when you mess up, she doesn't make fun of you. Daatra could learn a thing or two from this little kabold!
Before long, the two of you start to make some pretty good progress.

You end up needing to revive Penny several times, but that damn bat gets the best of you and Penny is the one reviving you!
Truly this is the most cooperative of games! A bond between friends, deepened by their struggles!
And by the fuckton of loot you manage to find.
Hurray! We made it out!

You return to the garden to find the flowers have sprouted! They look so pretty! You pick one up and hand it to Penny, who blushes IRL.
What a wholesome experience!

Wow, Ninja Garden looks much nicer than the other games we've seen! It must have been made later in the console's life... an interesting attention to detail by the devs! If I were them, I'd be real smug about this. But I'm not, so all I can do is gush at how amazingly thoughtful they are!
