If I know anything about port towns, it seems high time for you to pick up some pretty magical trinket that will most likely help you in your quest.

Well fantastic! Let's find a market and get some supplies! I assume that a circle next to your objectives means that that objective is already completed? Also, you may want to consider training yourself to use the sword better. Flailing doesn't sound particularly effective.

...Well I guess I do have to learn how to fight eventually...

If we're going to go shopping, I have a few things I need to buy before we get any trinkets...

Anyway, what should I do first? Train or shopping?
>>
No. 338882 ID: a820bb

Now Noce, training is important to help you improve your skills so that you may be able to protect yourself and others in a fight. If you wish to be a hero, you will need to do more than hide. After all, a hero should try to learn how to defend others along with defeating the wicked.

But for now, get what you absolutely need first before you start. You can't train properly if you're hungry and ill equiped.
>>

Go to the local bar and hire/befriend a bodyguard. He should be able to help train you.

I don't think he'd ready for a shield just yet, but some armor would likely help him. The coin on it's own would be easier to conceal than a bag of them, especially with that fur cloak.

Though I am curious, that sword, where did you get it?

uh, how well can you really see if your hood is so far forward as to cover your cyclopian-eye? I mean, if you're making sure no one can see your eye you've got to make it so that you can't see into the eyes of anyone else, which means it's got to be pretty low in the case of children or short people... do you do a lot of walking into walls? Must make reading signs hard. Maybe you should buy a full mask somehow.

>Wouldn't using a gold coin be suspicious?
Carrying lots of money in big change is pretty normal, so it shouldn't be suspicious! It would just look I'm using my pay, or allowance...It would be weird if I had more than one gold coin though.

>Isn't it hard to see through that hood?
The fabric on my undershirt is thin. I can see just fine!

>make sure to ask what a serial killer is

A serial killer is a single person capable of conscious thought killing 3 or more people.

In a past period of time, this identity was placed upon cyclops, who partook in mass murder and other vile acts upon the countries they visited.

After being overpowered and eradicated, the Crusading Cyclops no longer held this position and such poison became common amongst humans.

There are no reports of mass-murder within the other conscious races, implying weakness and lack of purity in the calm-blooded races.

Do not take it hard Noce. Every sentient being has the ability to choose their own path. Sadly, your ancestors picked the wrong one just as this killer did. Only thing you can do is do enough good to counter their past wrong doings.

Still, I think you should take his advice and avoid the un-stalled alleys. You are not ready to face such a foe yet.
