You have four city tokens.

Where do you place them?

Depends. Gray is mountains, blue is water, green is forests, yellow is plains, tans is desert? Or what?

If so, see picture for suggestion. Red X is for mining, Green X is for naval construction, and Black Xs are for lumber harvesting, water trade, and river blockading, if necessary.

I considered putting one on the island but having them all accessible by land is more strategically viable.

Capital goes in the mountains for the defense bonus. Other one on the peninsula could shift over to the forest if we can get woodsy elf allies to go with it. We will want to build a couple bridges across the short points in the river first chance we get. The city near the desert will have to be reinforced with fliers if it cannot produce enough units on its own. A two hex bridge is a major undertaking.

I already love this quest.

Also:
THREE CITIES ON THE ISLAND~!

We'll pop flying units and garrison only and be totally invincible to anyone without a lot of flyers or a lot of boats.

I dunno about the other city. Somewhere on the far shore, I guess.

It means that the Rules and Mechanics are not yet known yet. Or even fully explained. Maybe not even made yet. Just answer questions when they come. Sorry if I was curt, but I want this part done with as little discussion as soundly possible.

Many Many MANY turns ago. The Titans created the world. Then someone came and messed it all up. So one of the Titans, came back, and remade the world once more.

He kept some things, forgot about others, and mostly did his best. Thus, Erfworld was changed forever.

You have just popped outside of walls, outside of civilization, and in the middle of monsters and witches, and generally a lot of bad stuff.

What kind of hex are you in?

>>

Being barbarian we get to do our own thing, and hunting is a viable option, but I don't think that's what we really want to do.

I think we should head southeast along the river

How can we find mercenary work? Our stack is unled, and we're not a warlord. We'll auto-attack anyone we see.
>>
No. 182990 ID: a576f0

What makes you say that? I've never read anything to imply that barbarians attack anything that enters their hex.

Anyways, since were alone it's obvious we are leadership.

We need to make some schmukers. Maybe then we can hire someone else natural allies as backup.
>>
No. 183073 ID: 7e97fb

Troops without a warlord auto-attack everything. Barbarians ARE warlords, just without anyone to pay their upkeep and give orders.
>>
No. 183086 ID: c00244

>>183073
No. Barbarians can be warlords, but they aren't all warlords any more than other unit types are. Leadership is a special which we don't have listed in our unit statistics; therefore, we are not a warlord.

>>182838
Okay. So Plains it is.

As you may have noticed. You are Hank, the Barbarian Stabber. Now, the Titan that came back to fix anything was a good Titan, one that remembered to fix a lot of broken stuff in Erfworld. Now, he didn't fix everything, and he forgot to tell anyone about most of what he changed. So expect anything.

Anyway. You are Hank, and you like to stab things. Now, you have a upkeep of 1/10 Schmuckers. Annnnd you like Sunsets.

Now, you have stared out on these plains, you know that you aren't alone here. It only seems like it. What do?
>>
No. 183140 ID: 45be60

>>183138
Wait, its sunset already? Did the titan make turns happen at night now?
>>
No. 183144 ID: 1ac39d

as each person take's their turn the sun moves. so some sides go at dawn while others go near sunset. search around for this other person, if they are in the same hex then most likely they are allied or neutral to you.
