Eivr's got 7 suggestions so far, and that's for a fairly straightforward decision where we don't have a ton of relevant information to discuss. That's not bad.
Straightforward decisions really help, as long as they're not too straightforward. The ideal, I'd say, is giving people situations where there's 3-4 options, each with benefits and disadvantages we can make educated guesses about, with the possibility of someone making up something out of left field.
Ballad's not doing as well, even though it's fun to read. (I thought the hand signal fuckup was great) It's just not as clear. This whole nonstandard thing where Sofiya can hear Aldo's thoughts sometimes and Aldo thinks about himself in third person... or something... is neat, but is kind of confusing. (it's sorta like where you've got two narrators and they argue, except that it's present tense and they're surprised by things, so not that) That probably leaves more than a few people too uncertain to know what's going on.
On top of that, I'm not really clear on what's up with that black and yellow construction stripe. It's a loading zone so there wouldn't be a big wall where you pull the trucks in, but it looks a lot like there is. <pic attached>
If I'm the only one who was confused, I'll shut up, but I think it makes us less able to devise a plan for how to get a car down there. We also don't know from which direction we can come, or whether we can crash into the other side of the building where there isn't a guard watching, or what.
...also, it looks like a brick wall, which means our folks might not be in fighting trim after crashing into it. They seem to think they'll be okay, so we can take their word for it, but it plants a seed of doubt. Maybe even a sapling.
That's the rub with confusion. Even if someone has enough information to make a decision, they'll think they could be missing something important and not suggest.
