High Day
e51896
Not wanting to make things awkward for all the couples by being the only single lady in the festival, Magnolia steps out of the canopy and finds a suitable platform to rest her back on. She contemplates over the absurd moments that had transpired to her during the event.
As she thought about how she got rejected by Fluffyfuzz as it was swept away by Mr. Hatterson, and then later by an odd sentient corkscrew, she still couldn't help but feel a little bit of sadness over it. She doesn't understand why she felt that way though, being in a romantic relationship with someone is something that she is really afraid of getting into, and she wasn't even planning on falling in love in the first place or making friends at the festival like Arthurius requested her to at the festival. So why was she feeling this way?
As she bottles up those emotions of sadness, she thinks to herself:
:(If I'm feeling that way, would that meeeeeeeeean I'm ready to fall in love again?)
After coming to that conclusion, she unhooks the locket off her necklace, puts it in front of her eyes, and stares within as she slowly opens the locket. While a little music-box tune plays her favorite song from the locket upon opening it, The open locket stares back at her from within as memories pour out of it and floods her mind. Before the memories are too much to hold, Magnolia closes the locket and places it back on her necklace. She didn't realize it until she was hooking the locket back on her necklace, but she noticed her hand was trembling, though it didn't last long as soon as she noticed.
:(No. not yet. I'm not ready to movvvvvvvve on...)
She stares up into the sky and appreciates the sounds of people enjoying each other's company close by. She loves the peaceful atmosphere of the wind blowing, the woodland animals making sounds, the peach flavored sky, the weird thumping and rustling that she hears below her, and most importantly, she loves being with the company of herself. She relaxes in contentment as she enjoys the rest of the festival by herself.
