I'm not sure if you're trying to say there's a lot of quests you don't like or that Safety First should update more often but neither of those are really things you should be doing. Running a quest is a non-trivial time commitment!

So. Bonnie is definitely her mother's daughter. That aside, why rats? Psychic rats, specifically?

When you want to try something out on humans you usually start testing it on animals, no?

So, do we still have control of Bonnie, or is this the Rat Boss in control, or are we synchronized? I'm just trying to figure out why her eyes are red.
>>

>>132855
Yes to all the above, we're still in control but Rathoney is trying to hijack us.

also note that when we control Bonnie or Rathoney we refer to ourselves as We/Us but when we controlled Rose she refereed to herself as I/Me

Okay, for the cheap seats-

Is it Rat-honey
Rath-oney
or
Rat-tony?

Voted, but I'd also like to add a caveat that I'd only want it if it was VERY temporary. There's been several quests I used to like that have gotten mired in alternate viewpoints or backstory for the better part of like...a year. Hate that.

Starting to wonder if monster strength just runs in the family. I kinda find it hilarious that this girl who can shrug off rat bites like literally nothing and can punch through walls gets her back cracked by her mother's hugs. Just shows how insane they both are in terms of strength.

Will be interesting to see how this stat allotment affects future fights.

I'm going to try to give the quick rundown on hazards and what not, feel free to ask any questions if I leave something vague or w/e.

Hazards are essentially super powers of this world, They are not uncommon but they all come with a downside. For example Rose's where she can look into the future but suffers nausea afterwards.

Every hazard person has increased stats making them semi super human in that regard, but also has attributes that suffer as a detriment.

The naming convention for hazards all follow Diseases/Injuries/Disorders etc. Not because the person has that disease but because their hazard is similar in appearance or functionality to that thing.

I assume equipment is next after this part? I'm guessing that how that works is that everything equipped to Bonnie and Rose will provide situational stat-boosts (such as special boots increasing AGI when navigating sloshed terrain, night-vision goggles boosting PER in the dark, or Rose's extinguisher hammer applying its compression impact to add oomph to melee attacks as though she had an additional rank of STR).

What are some things that you guys enjoy about safety first? and what are some things that you think could be improved on?

>>133869
Thanks dude.

I enjoy the apparently somewhat amoral setting, the way you write fun kids, and the dynamic everyone has with each other. great characters that play well off each other are a must for quest content and I'm ESPECIALLY interested to find out exactly how much dirty biz mommy dearest used to get up to and why she left.

as for things to improve, it feels like we've been in the prologue for a while. more likely that's because of the update stagger than an actual pacing issue, but I would like to get into some more action soon, and not of the "internal organizational strife" variety!

in short: LET DEM KIDDOS DO SOME BIG MURDERS BRAH, SATE MINE BLOODLUST
>>
No. 133874 ID: df76b1

With the understanding that males are not safety scouts, do they exist and will they ever show up in the setting?
>>
No. 133876 ID: a34b8a

>>133872
I agree hopefully we can get to some action soon.
>>133874
Yes in fact they are part of the organization as well. One of my goals of this new thread is to introduce some male characters, into the mix.

There's a lot I like, and very little I don't. I love the artwork, the pacing (that is, the storytelling pace, not the update pace because WANT MOAR), the setting, all that. About the only thing I don't like is, as stated, the update pace, but that'd be kinda unfair to blame you, IMO.

>>133872
We've had opportunities to kill before, but I just don't think we've had good opportunities or real desires to. Do I think we'll end up in a no-kill run? No, but I would prefer to leave da murda to incredibly vile individuals, not rats looking to escape from a torturous lab or a dim muscle idiot who's probably not that evil at heart.
>>
No. 133881 ID: df76b1

I for one intend to play Bonnie as wholly chaotic stupid good, with a childlike innocence and desire to do the right thing coupled with a complete and total lack of planning or foresight.

Hopefully, watching the collateral damage amount soar will be seen as a feature not a bug.
