It turns out the purple stone is the Essence of Courage that got corrupted somehow into the Essence of Anger. It's now mucking about with everyone's heads, possibly using Murdelp as a conduit. Sanasha saved Amina with a little help from us, and now Amina's done the same thing for you. Seems like there's something else going on here though, since they're not in the room anymore. We've gotta find Gezzono and Amina.

Sounds like your mom is a bit overprotective of you. If she feels that someone's done something to hurt you in any way, she may be hurting them back.

I thought of a few things and figured I'd make a note of it here for everyone, but I decided not to bump the thread.

1) Some of us (myself included) forgot that Gezzono has no tentacles now. That infection got healed during the time Sanya and Amina were training. He now has a normal hand again. This means he can cast spells.

2) Gezzono can cast spells. He is called The Elementalist Tonberry, in fact. Why isn't Sanya dead yet? He must not be completely convinced yet. If we try to knock him out though, he'll likely cast a spell to disarm or disable Sanya. Force will not be a solution here; Gezzono can probably beat Sanya in a straight up fight. We definitely need to talk him down.

3) Where'd the STRENGTH GLOVE go? Did Murdelp run off with it?

Seriously, can we break away from someone from FIVE minutes and not have them get posessed/turn crazy? For now on no breaking up.

Beat the shit out of Gezz until he regains his senses.
