Yeah, try seeing if the elevator goes to this room/that metal grating. It might be a freight elevator. You could tote all this elsewhere.

Okay, I figured it out. Go back and get that single damaged barrel, and bring it into the elevator with you. Then go up the cabinets into the vent and see if the shutter up there is open.

Sigh. I was really hoping that would go UP for a change. Well, there's one thing that could be done... Go north, climb up the ladder, then west and check out what happened to the elevator you put the barrel into.

Also... crap, we can't use this elevator again if we get out. I hope this approach didn't completely screw everything. Before leaving, try climbing up on that round thing on the left to see if only the floor senses weight.

(clarification, this is not an update, I am demonstrating the layout of the elevator. The barrel was not placed into the actual elevator room because the elevator itself was on a different floor)
>>
No. 67109 ID: 632862

>>67099
Oh, so each elevator is one box, and can be ridden from on top of the roof. And here I thought they were just linked up. Then... to explain what's happened so far... that means when one elevator goes down, the other goes up.

The only reason we couldn't get on the roof of the eastern elevator is because the grate was closed.

The only way to go up at this point is to somehow get two or more barrels on one elevator, then get on the other elevator and push the barrel off.

Well, as a silhouette... can we jump down safely to that floor, or maybe climb down the track somehow? That would let us get back to the 3-barrel room.

Wait... my plan isn't going to work, is it.

I've never been good at counterweight puzzles. Have some maps, everyone. B1 here. The floor we started on is F1 for reference.

Hmm. Go south, upstairs, and see if the grate to the elevator shaft there is open. If we can get on the roof of this elevator I may have a slightly different plan.

This is the highest floor.

Red areas are where you can go down, though I guess the elevators can be manipulated. Green areas are where you can go up. I'm not entirely sure how the elevator doors work yet, but if I had to guess I'd say the blue doors are always open but otherwise the elevator's midsection has to be on that floor for the grate to be open. The puzzle here is to get enough weight on the top of one elevator's roof but not too much compared to the other one, so that you can get on top of it via F2 and then push enough off to make it lighter than the other elevator, reaching F3. Hopefully.

A few minor corrections that may not have been visible due to arts:

1: There is a shutter here, it was visible across the shaft (only not, because it is a viewpoint wall. Only the little 'door marker' was visible.)

The top of the shafts is only a little above the shutters on F2.

>>67153
Ohh, then what we need to do is just get back to F2, and we can explore a new room! That's a much simpler task.

Slightly different directions: South, up, north, check out the roof of the eastern elevator by looking south through the blue door. May as well, since it's also something we haven't seen yet.
