Why does it feel like I was caught in a landslide all the sudden? Anyway, I think this is reality. I don’t feel… dreamy? I don’t know, but when I was in the dream something felt off all the time and now that feeling is finally gone… which means that maybe… just maybe this really is real. There’s no escape from reality, huh?

I got the pieces of it, but can’t seem to access its power. I think the power is still being siphoned somewhere else thanks to the deans phylactery that the paladins put in me… which in retrospect doesn’t sound like a good thing.

Anyway, one of the paladins obviously is on the receiving end of the Vessel's drained energy. So, we definitely can't trust them. Fuckers stole Liz's power. Or at least, a large portion of it. Maybe they did it with good intentions, but right now we have to keep away from them until we can stand up to them. Just in case. Hmm. This also means the dream-book lied to you about what the drained power was being used for. Considering that only covered the paladins' asses, who had no power to affect the dream, we can assume the book is on their side and was the real thing inside the dream, like Folken was. So. Antonidas is no longer trustworthy, alongside the paladins. Which isn't surprising I suppose.

Who can we trust, now? The Dean? The only reason someone would ransack his office is if they were looking for the phylactery, which means someone's trying to keep him dead. Or maybe the Dean already revived, and is being kept prisoner until they find his phylactery, so they can kill him. I suspect the paladins, as it would cover their trail.

Oh shit I just realized we have no paladin-immunity enchanted items. Maybe Dylon still knows how to do that, from the time he did it in the dream. We NEED that. Next stop, Dylon.

If I remember correctly Thanra and Thanros was left in an orphanage before they hatched. The paladins must have been able to register their parents somehow when they left them there. Though I don’t know what happened to Blackadder when he was young, Thanros “Big brother” comment probably mean he’s at least a year older than the rest of us. Actually, it’s kind of suspicious that the paladins were able to register Thanra’s parents, but the orphanage wasn’t… hmm…

Now when I think about it, I am a bit hungry… the normal kind of hungry. Odd, I can’t remember the last time I was hungry for a lack of food instead of necro energy.

I've been wondering, does that blood trail lead into the water?

Right we have two options.

Option 1. Thanros nails the sword arm of the paladin with an arrow to prevent him just running Blackadder through. Claire and the others rush Pride.

Option 2. Tell them you are the vessal and use that to free Blackadder. I don't really like this option because they might have something to control Claire and thats just so cliche.

ok we need to do 2 things so Thanros can put in arrow into the guy with the sword

1) have someone create a distraction to get everyone's attention away from Thanros, probably just find some way to get this mother fucker to keep talking as he loves the sound of his own voice

2) someone ready to tackle Pride himself (best time would be after Thanros shots the other guy because he would be most likely be surprised at this point) and bring the bastard down. So what happens when you destroy things with so much magic in them that an omnipotent being was able to do whatever and not put a dent in its stored energy?

The way to destroy the Vessel is to reverse its process. It slowly draws surrounding magic into itself until it becomes incredibly powerful. If instead it slowly emits magic without drawing any in, you can bury it somewhere and in a short 10,000 years it will have become completely harmless. Just destroying it if that's even possible would release all the magic at once, with possibly catastrophic consequences.

Ok if this vessel is as powerful as you say it is I'm guessing if you were to destroy it the backlash could and probably will destroy the world as well so unless you have some kind of plan to contain or redirect all that energy you're about to let loose you can probably see why I'm a little hesitant to just hand it over, that and before now we have been dealing with shape shifters, mind controlling parasites, true illusions which made us question every single thing we came across as real from the people around us to the very world we walked in, and now we're back to mind control but this time with paladins instead of the empire's solders. We kind of lack the information to make an informed decision. For one thing, any attempt to siphon off power could be a covert attempt to divert the power elsewhere for a dangerous purpose. You do deserve to know this… Most of what you know seems to be fabrications, probably put there by the Dean for some reason. It started about a year ago with a noble woman running from home to try escaping a forced marriage with an imperial commander called Folken. Though, in her escape, she mortally wounded the commander, a wound that resulted in his death.

It’s hard to pinpoint exactly who or what I’m feeling and I can’t really distinguish between two different ones except for their general strength. I can say that I’ve felt something as powerful since I got here, but that probably the Servok… and possibly Pride. He was supposed to be powerful, right? Otherwise he wouldn’t even have been here, right?

You better ask him that, not me. Though they were advertising it quite a bit when we were there and tried the outfits on. A better question would be why they got a shop like that in a town this small.

Or another arrow trap, this one seems to be set of when you’re trying to move the dresser from the side. And the bottom cupboard isn’t any better, with yet another arrow trap. This one seems to be activated with the tripwire too… but I can’t really see why… I wouldn’t be standing here if I tripped the wire, would I?

Either way, this is strange enough to get the others involved, that blocked off room might be more important then we think.

I changed it to the immunity against holy ring, remember? Though I can just change it again now and equip the holy immunity one later when we kill Alyssa.

Insert Traps… traps everywhere_

Okay... At least 2 runes on the floor (under the middle painting, and in front of the shut door), several tripwires of varying difficulty to see, arrows, axes, dots that are probably mark laser sensors, at least one trapped painting, and there's probably more.

Go with plan chuck and duck again. I'm tempted to use the chicken, but then the hall would be filled with an infinite immortal and irate flock of cuckoos, which would be worse.

The paintings look like they have red eye... probably trap triggers as well.

I also see a couple darkened cobblestones. Some more trap triggers is my guess.

A glorious idea… except the traps resets after a few seconds, meaning I would only succeed in creating a horde of angry chickens… or infinitive amount of chickens… I don’t really know how that will work.

well unless you can find a way to clime on the ceiling or get a shield like Thanra has for everyone in your group I don't know. But now I am very curious to see what would brake first the traps or the chickens.

I'm not seeing another way to circumvent these traps, through. Unless we have a means to disarm or destroy them.

Well, whatever. Let's just make the potion first and drink it. The real Alyssa will fuck up eventually and reveal themselves. I think it's time to grill Alexander, but without revealing we suspect him.

Is he talking about liz because we've been out of it longer then we would have liked so there could have been a lot of lizards throughout all of his lives so I'm not totally sure.

Alright, I think we need the Sorvek's help here. Or someone who knows a lot about alchemy, to confirm the potion's formula. It's probably legit if you ask me, but the Dean isn't gonna revive fast enough for it to matter if we talk to someone about it.

The paladins seem resistant to boreworms, Alexander here especially so. It seems to only be able to give him suggestions, not direct orders, and the other paladins seem able to resist physical control enough to make them suck at combat. Not sure if it's safe to untie him. Not sure if we need his help either though. Let's leave him tied up just to be sure.

Next stop, alchemy professor or something like that. Maybe we can look it up in an alchemy textbook, but we'd have to find one pretty quick!

It's possible that Alyssia might actually be controlling the boreworms directly as well, or left them with pre-programmed instructions on how to fight back.

If our body is his phylactory, can't we just destroy it and respawn to kill the guy? Do we really need to drink some mystery potion?

Well, I got a the book with the alchemy receipt right here… the same one that Graven showed us in the picture. But if that not enough I’ll go ask my alchemy teacher… if I can find him.
