Well it's already proven itself not to be all that bright, and it would suck to leave this kick-ass sniper position. Keep an eye out.. wait for a clear shot..

While we're at it..take another quick look around your surroundings, we don't want one sneaking behind us...

That cowardly savage (And strangely adorable) Engsami won't escape this place alive.. @_@

Also... yeah.. who are we again?

You hand the Lohrke a MUNDU WORM
>So... what's your name?

"Tav." he directly responds, eying the worm as it wriggles and snaps it's mandibles in his hand.

>Why are you so protective of this place? Do others live here?"
You inquire.

"Not anymore. I'm a soldier, I was part of the former militia here, and when the Engsami showed up, we were overwhelmed and I'm all that's left of the militia. A handful of the citizens made it to the escape tunnel. As long as the Engsami think there's more of us up here, they won't go looking for the escapees, so I make a general nuisance of myself and keep their attention on me."

>Were the Engsami the ones who trashed the town?

"Duh. I've been finding and relocating the bodies of the lucky citizens who died in the raid and giving them proper burials, but the unlucky ones got dragged off through some tunnel the Engsami burrowed into town."

"This thing is still alive..." Tav quickly changes the subject, as he glares at the wriggling worm.

You arrive at the power station, located in the Industrial District of the city. The building is quite dark inside. Tav enters first, a purple glow radiating around him, and hurries over to an open device and begins rummaging around in it. The inside of the building is nothing like you've ever seen on your home island. It's massive space, various doo-hickies, and cold metal feel seem almost alien to you.

Tav speaks up, "We're in luck! The idiots couldn't figure out Lohrke Technomancy if their lives depended on it. They just smashed up a few things and took out parts until things stopped working apparently. It should be fixable, but we'll need to find some things to fix it though."

"What we'll need are: Some LENGTH OF WIRE, to repair the busted wiring,
a GEAR, to replace the one that appears to have been removed,
a FLAT PIECE OF METAL, to bridge a connector,
a HAND CRANK, to wind the springs,
and it looks like three JOLTS OF ELECTRICITY to get the ball rolling..."

Tav leads you up a series of service ramps to the rooftop of the Power Station. He turns around to send a bolt of lightning into the crowd of reptile men hot on your tail.
"DEMESI! Fly somewhere! I'll try to lead them off and meet you once i've lost them!"

What to do? Do as Tav says and leave him to face the horde himself, or come up with your own plan?

You call out to Tav, letting him know that you're heading to the Militia Barracks. He nods and fires another bolt down the corridor as you take to the "air"

You land without incident on a section of roof on the Barracks. The building seems to have been built right into the side of the cave with multiple tunnels opening along the cavern walls. The wall of the building is lined with parapets, and more of the strange blue blood stains various portions of the rocky surfaces.

Why are we walking head-first into this anyway? is there an implied time limit on their using-friend-as-bait trick? Surely we could approach more methodically and cautiously than this.

Warehouse rooftop it is.

My armor is pretty badly dented from that blow, I don't even want to think about what would have happened had I not been wearing it. The air compressor has a somewhat small crack in it's hull, all in all, I'm surprised that's all it's got.

In my bag I have DEMESI'S SCARF and the ENGSAMI KNIFE. Some one stole the SHOCK CUDGEL from my quarters, probably Kyaos, so the Knife currently looks like my only real melee option, though the SHOCK LANCER could probably be improvised as a melee weapon.

You're beastly strong, considering that you can run up walls while carrying that huge cannon and power supply. To say nothing of surviving getting punched through a wall.

Try to grab onto Kyaos' wounded leg. It's a bit less spiky now. Yank her down out of the air.

Time to execute second phase: Jump back on the wall and run up. We can't take them both at same time so let's see if we can electrocute one.

Oh, HOLD YOUR BREATH against Kyaos if you can.

Stomp that rod in. Honestly, I think driving a spike into his spine has a higher chance of killing him than the lightning, but either way we need to drive that thing deep into Gamera.

Continue to rip and tear.

You're in prime position to cut Demesi off of Ganneda's back.

And judging from the position of that rod, a blast of electricity would probably prove to do some serious damage, if not lethal. At least I'm assuming his spinal column and brainstem still follow the route of a regular humanoid.

So, course of action: Cut Demesi down, use LOIHGTNIN' to take Ganneda out of commission, hopefully permanently.

Yeah, that'll do fine. Give the rod one quick stomp before we grab Demesi and run, though.

Oh, and while we do so, continue the excellent knife defense against Kyaos, at least until we actually have to cut the ropes. Then, just kick her or something.
