Alright, on top of everything else, looks like we've got a timer hooked to our gun.

Well, unless we can find something to patch it up with. Is there any way we could fix it, very quickly and temporarily?

In any case, escape/retreat takes first priority.

The chimney circled here. Its slanted so you'll have cover, and it'll give you a good view of their movements. Only problems are the lack of bolts to fire and lack of air pressure, but if you make sure your first shot counts...

I believe since our weapon is lacking in range now, we ought to find a high spot that we can leap from silently and land on the big guy. Once We close the distance sufficiently I doubt he'll be able to do much if we land on his back.

A high vantage point such as...The statue perhaps? Or somewhere where we can be more concealed when we make said leap of faith?
>>
No. 27670 ID: 6faa8c

High vantage point would be optimal. Statue sounds good.
>>
No. 27677 ID: fdc826

>>27670

I agree with the concealed leap-of-faith, but I think we'd be too easy to spot up on that statue.

If Gamera's moving south(?) and we can get there in time, the slanted roof which Satan pointed out here:

>>27666

would work quite well.

Do we have any very close range weaponry, such as a knife/dagger/entrenching tool (mini shovel)?

Also, considering we're going into some CQC here, are there any bulky pieces of armor/equipment we won't need? We might even need to temporarily dump the gun and backpack, if need be.

Warehouse rooftop it is.

My armor is pretty badly dented from that blow, I don't even want to think about what would have happened had I not been wearing it. The air compressor has a somewhat small crack in it's hull, all in all, I'm surprised that's all it's got.

In my bag I have DEMESI'S SCARF and the ENGSAMI KNIFE. Some one stole the SHOCK CUDGEL from my quarters, probably Kyaos, so the Knife currently looks like my only real melee option, though the SHOCK LANCER could probably be improvised as a melee weapon.

I can hear Ga'nneda stomping around below me, they probably know I haven't gone to far.

Weild knife and drop onto him, using gravity on your own weight to dirve it into Kyoas. Even if you miss her, you'll likely stab the turtle's neck.
>>

If it comes down to it, can you rig your shock lancer into an IED?
>>
No. 27714 ID: fdc826

>>27692

Removing the armor is out of the question, then.

Looks like the stealth drop, followed by berserker rage is our only option here.

...And as for an improvised weapon, could you possibly turn your lancer into a kind of electric club? It would be exceedingly badass to turn it on, then drop several stories and pull some Thor shit right onto Mini-Rodan's head.

Followed by a quick shanking to finish her, of course.

I agree with >>27699
but instead of diving down with a dagger, use a Guide Rod. With gravity on your side, you should have enough force to break through Gamera's skin, or kill Kyaos outright, and if you can pierce through that natural armor then your lightning gun will become lethal against the brute.

Yeah, sounds about right.

However, if we get the chance, we should at least attempt to free Deme; that way, we could do something drastic to kill them both, like the aforementioned intentional-building-collapse plan.

Also, the enemy wouldn't have a bargaining chip. We'd be able to go on the defense, and thus have an advantage.

Otherwise, just keep stabbing shit.

You're in prime position to cut Demesi off of Ganneda's back.

And judging from the position of that rod, a blast of electricity would probably prove to do some serious damage, if not lethal. At least I'm assuming his spinal column and brainstem still follow the route of a regular humanoid.

So, course of action: Cut Demesi down, use LOIHGTNIN' to take Ganneda out of commission, hopefully permanently.
