>E2M2 >TRAIL OF BROKEN HEARTS
I slept very poorly last night... I think I had a nightmare.
Examine surroundings.
Wait, something's missing! Maybe that wasn't a nightmare after all!
OK, from my camp site I can see the woods I left from, then the road, which forks off headed southwest. There are groves of trees like the one I'm camped in dotting the landscape. I suppose I should start going somewhere.
>>49403 Its gone... They must have it hostage for you to do their bidding... We have no choice but to obey. We should try and go towards that place they mentioned... That thing we rode in must left some tracks and Doobies are the Best Trackers. Everyone knows that!
>>49407 There are tracks everywhere! I dont' know which ones to follow! There's a sign here though, the right arrow says "Ikkybig" and the left one says "Akras refinery"
>>49424 Ikkybig sounds nice.
>>49424 The refinery sounds like it would make not-goblins. Check Ikkybig.
>>49424 Ikkybig, I can't think of a very good reason why they would be taken to a refinery.
USE YOUR SUPERIOR DOOBIE OLFACTORY SENSES.
I hear something coming up behind me, should I hide in the trees or wave them down?
>>49462 PLAY THEM- oh wait shit... hide.
Hide, they do NOT look friendly.
GREET THE BIKERS
Hide!
I quickly duck behind the bushes and wait for the convoy to pass! There are a lot of two wheeled vehicles, a large truck, and some smaller four wheeled ones.
>>49479 That... that's a tank. It's the military kobolds the mindlfayer was talking about..
IDENTIFY THE RACE OF THE PERSONS IN THE METAL BOXES. PLAN ON HOW TO TAKE AWAY THEIR METAL BOXES.
They were small, and green. I think. It was hard to see them. What should I do now?
Doesn't look like a kobold. Looks more like whatever Telwis is. Is it too late to wave them down from a distance? If so, I guess continue up the road.
>>49491 FOLLOW THEM, PERHAPS THEY HAVE A KEYTAUR.
There's no way I can catch up to them but eventually I come up on this scene. There's some kind of little building down at the bottom of the valley and the road both continues southwest and a second fork goes due west.
>>49512 TO THE BUILDING Practice on your board as you walk.
What board? The store has two doors, some odd things with smiley faces on them in front, and a large sign reading DISKOWNT on top. To the southwest are what appear to be ruins, and to the west a line of poles with some wires strung on the tops goes off into the distance.
>>49539 Oooh, a shop. Go in and try to buy something. SING FOR THEM to pay.
>>49539 Go to those ruins.
2nding visiting ruins.
>>49539 enter the very happy looking store
It is so rare to find a well run shop owned by an intelligent proprietor out in the wilderness like this. We should totally check it out. The owner, while obviously not as perfect in every way as a DOOBIE, at least he knows how to spell, unlike the rest of these inferior morons. Maybe he also understands the finer points of music, and could provide us with a new instrument.
>>49539 Man, those are the happiest gas pumps I've ever seen. Enter the DISKOWNT shoppe... Hm, too bad we don't have a fork and a knife.
I like how the "missions" are named after Dragonforce songs... Check out the store first, then we can go to the ruins.
As I approach the store, a massive monster pokes its head out of the window! "WELCOME TO KREEG'S DISKOWNT STORE! WE GOT BEER FOOD AND GAS! WHAT YOU LOOKING FOR!?" I can hear the spelling error in its speech.
>>49702 Tell him you're looking for gas. Wink suggestively.
Get a bucket of gas and a flashlight.
"KREEG DON'T HAVE A BUKKIT BUT WILL TRADE FOR EMPTY PAINT CAN! FLASHLIGHT 2 BOLDROONS."
Get it while the deal is hot!
We don't have any money so just ask the kind shopkeeper how to get to the Riblik Farms.
THE WAT FARMS? KREEG DON'T KNOW ABOUT THAT. IF YOU DON'T GOT ANY MONEY KREEG LIKE TO TRADE TOO.
>>49717 Ask about the Big Red thing with the tentacles. Which way did the man go? Did he have Green People with him?
>>49718 RED THING WIT TENTAKELS? ONLY THING WITH TENTAKELS KREEG SEEN WAS SOME SLAVER, WENT DOW TOWARD FISH TOWN. GREEN PEOPLE IS MOXES, WENT TO IKKYBIG. FISH TOWN DOWN PAST POWER PLANT, IKKYBIG DOWN PAST RUINS. WHERE YOU COME FROM ANYWAY? WHAT YOU GOT TO TRADE?
>>49720 Bartering? What is this? We are DOOBIE! We don't have to take this shit! Punch him in the face 'till he gives you all you want!
We could trade the lighter. Ask what else does he sell.
We need the lighter to actually use our fucking bomb. Do not trade it. We don't need any of his crap right now, let's just go to where the goblins are.
>>49720 Let's just go to the ruins.
Soothe his icy heart with a warm island song.
>>49722 I dare not do that to something that can quite literally bite my head clean off. >>49729 Perhaps we can trade for a song!
>>49729 Maybe we should have frozen his hellish heart with a cool island song.
He seems rather delighted and hands me the bucket.
Thank him for the bucket, and ask him to teach you the song of his people so you can add it to your arsenal of music.
Let's head towards the ruins on the way to Ikkybig. Thank him for the bucket. Also, try out that far left door in the diskownt store.
The door appears to be locked or stuck, Kreeg says not to mess with it. He doesn't know what's in there either.
Sing the door open. Ask Kreeg to join in for a beautiful duet.
Hmm, the door doesn't budge. Besides, I don't really know any songs about opening doors so we sing a drinking song.
Then ask for force, perhaps there's something Kreeg would like too. Mystery doors must be opened.
>>49753 CHEASE!!!
Force door open, find peperoni.
Try to pry open the door with your umbrella.
Ask if there's a crowbar you can use.
Hmm, there's nothing to pry it open with, and I don't want to break my umbrella.
USE DA BOMB YA GIT! DA BOMB!
>>49784 Let's see. Let's try... knocking? Shoulder checking the door? Bashing off the handle with a rock? Yelling at it?
Bomb that shit up, we're not gonna miss another secret.
>>49799 clearly doobie bombs are of superior quality, and will only destroy what we want them to destroy. additionally, fire will not burn a doobie, they are the one true race, and fire will know not to hurt us.
>>49784 Amadoobus> use bomb on door
Bombing is a TERRIBLE IDEA considering we're at a GAS STATION. Ask Kreeg if he has a crowbar we can trade for?
>>49802 The idiot got a point for once. DO NOT BOMB.
Why don't we just Trade Kreeg a bomb for the door itself? Then he has to take the door down and give it to us, thus opening the door for us. Mind Games, people. Mind Games.
Don't use the only bomb on an ordinary door... jerk of a door... we'll come for it later.
That bomb is baby. No way it could blow up the anything BUT the door. Use it, for the greater good!
It's dark now, I'm still thinking on what to do.
Sure, blow it up. Even if things go wrong, nothing of value was lost.
>>49801 I retract my suggestion, I forgot this was a gas station. Are there any sturdy looking rocks/ sticks in the surroundings that might look like a suitable improvised pry bar?
Alright, what should I do with this thing?
>>49806 ITG alert. >>49835 Don't light it.
>>49835 Light the little dangly thing on fire, put it besides the door, and run as fast as you can with your stumpy little feet. Remember to jump forward dramatically when you hear a bang.
>>49820 even if the bomb IS baby, it's Doobie technology. Shit's gonna blow up HUEG. I guess I'll jump on the see if Kreeg is willing to trade the bomb for anything useful, a crowbar if possible
Wait, wait, I forgot this was a gas station too... Looks like there are some big rocks on that hill, go fetch one and try to break down the door with it.
>>49837 this
Gasoline + EXPLOSION = DEAD DOOBIE. DO NOT LIGHT IT. We need it to break rocks. We can have the strongman open the door. Or we use DOOBIE CUNNING to get it opened up
wait... has anyone tried knocking on the door? I mean... I seriously doubt it would do anything, but it certainly couldn't hurt
>>49850 We could be looking in the rest room... for all we know..
- Plant Bomb on door - Gain Martyrdom - Control switch to Kreeg OR - Pussy out -Barter bomb for Crowbar/battering ram/tire iron/fireplace poker/screwdriver/semi-truck/jackhammer/rockdrill
>>49849 >>49843 >>49838 >>49836 >vs >>49837 >>49846 Hmm, on second thought, this seems like a terrible idea. I don't want to blow myself up. Kreeg says he's tried opening it, prying it open with stuff, and knocking on it, and none of that opened it.
Ask Kreeg if there's even any gas at this station.
>>49865 YUP, THE MOXES JUST CAME BY TO FILL UP THE TANKS. WHY?
Alright, I don't see any alternative to blowing it up, and that's too dangerous. So just forget about the fucking door and head toward Ikkybig.
Forget the stupid fucking door Go on to the ruins
There's a ruined tower up there! But I don't see anything on it. Should I go investigate further.
>>49892 yes.
Yeah, why not?
>>49892 Nah, don't feel like it. Masturbate until you pass out instead.
To arms, Doobus! Assault ye fortress!
Yes. Investigate.
Ok, I'm on top of a hill to the southeast of the store, there's a collection of what appear to be ruined buildings. The most intact one is the second to right one. There's a faint glow far off in the horizon, and a vehicle coming down the road.
Spy the vehicle from a secure distance, maybe it'll stop in the diskownt store.
It's one creature on a bike. I think it's a Sergal but I can't make it out from here
Let's go say HI I guess.
It's definitely a sergal, but it's wearing some really strange outfit.
>>50015 SING HIM THE SONG OF YOUR PEOPLE. A CAPELLA.
>>50015 Sweet ride man.
>>50015 Borrow bike Ram through door ??? PROFIT
I approach and say hello, but the Sergal doesn't respond!
>>50032 A mute! Well, it's a good thing they're not deaf! Compliment them on their fine outfit and then WHISTLE THEM THE SONG OF YOUR PEOPLE.
It's physically impossible for me to whistle! Kreeg says that she won't say anything because she's part of some cult that only uses hand signals to communicate and has their vocal chords removed because they must be utterly silent.
>>50039 show her the DANCE OF YOUR PEOPLE!
>>50039 Maybe it'd be best to leave this one alone. She doesn't look in the mood. Let's check out that mostly intact building back there.
"oh sorry." and go about your business.
"Has she seen a squid-man driving a black tractor trailer lately?"
Oh, wait! She has a GUN! Ask her politely to shoot the mysterious door open.
I ask the question anyway, and she signs back, "You malformed little wad, I couldn't reply to you if I wanted to, there's no way you could understand out secret language" How rude!
>>50132 sign back to tell her how rude she's being
>>50132 Sign back "But you DID just reply to me. My name's Amadoobus! Where are you headed?"
"How the hell did you understand that!?" I say that Doobies can understand any language! We also know when someone is being rude! I introduce myself, and ask if she's seen the slaver. She says she has only seen one truck and it was a fuel truck. I ask her to shoot the door.
>>50138 Yeah we'll give her a song if she can blow that handle off!
I sing a song, and she agrees to blast the handle off of the door! There's a bright flash and a cracking sound from her weapon, and the handle comes right off!
>>50141 OPEN THE DOOR THAT IS NOT OF YOUR PEOPLE.
>>50141 Hell yeah! Thank her and compliment her zippers, then see if you can finally open that door.
Check that door out.
Wait, now how am I supposed to open it? The handle is rapidly cooling on the ground and it opens outward!
>>50145 KICK IT DOWN!
Go check out that mostly intact building already.
Sing to the door about how it has made itself a mortal enemy. Somehow, we will open this door. It is now our number one priority. Warn it that if it does not open itself soon, we might have to go all "The Shining" on it's ass. For now, bang it casually like The Fonz and go "Eyyyyyyy!"
Put the bomb where the handle used to be and blow that shit up.
Gently coax it out with the point of your umbrella.
>>50150 After letting it cool a bit.
>>50149 Seconded. Put the big black ball where the handle was, use the fire to light the rope coming from it, and run very far away from it
Dont be rude, sign thanks.
Sing it open.
Perhaps you can pry it open with your umbrella now without breaking it.
I think we've already established that using the bomb is a terrible idea. I can't pry open the door with anything, it's stuck fast. I thank the Sergal and head towards the ruins. There are a few buildings here, and a lot of stone blocks strewn about the ground. I'll head towards the mostly intact tower first. >1 Mostly intact tower >2 Fairly run down tower >3 small building with a hole in the roof >4 statue >5 mostly intact small building.
>>50163 Let's check out 5.
Check the statue out first before we go in the building.
Take a look at the statue. Then go to 5.
Hmm, there's no going in the building, somebody has filled it up with boards and old tires and junk.
Examine the statue.
>>50170 Can we clear out the junk? If not, statue.
I could clear out that junk but it would be a lot of work, and it's getting late. I'll go look at the statue. It appears to have been defaced and disarmed, on purpose it looks like. Should I look at anything further? There is a stone axe on the ground, and there are some spikes of obsidian as well.
No buttons or hidden items or secrets? Search the statue for weird tidbits. Then, I guess check area 3.
>>50176 Rock out on the stone axe like an air guitar.
>>50176 Yeah check out the statue further. Maybe see what that black thing in the grass is.
I've found a spike off of the statue!
>>50180 WE HAVE ACQUIRED AN OBJECT. CELEBRATORY AIR GUITAR ON THE STONE AXE IS IN ORDER.
>>50180 Well if there's nothing here let's go to three then.
Well, it is an item, so we should carry it until we have conclusive evidence it's not useful. Head to area 3, I guess.
I am a musician, I do not play "air guitar!" This building has a roof that's tumbled down and there's an .. old Bathtub in it? There's also some more trash and broken peices of wood.
>>50194 Ride the bathtub
Let's try 2 then
>>50199 Concur. Ride the bathtub down the hill. This place is dead anyway.
>>50194 Definitely ride the bathtub. TO GLORY!
>>50194 Climb onto the roof and look through hole.
This is neither fun nor exciting.
>>50211 This is a reasonable idea if you can do it
Make another sweep of the area. If it's just full of wreckage and shit, leave.
I can easily climb up the blocks and look into the hole in the roof. some blocks from the ceiling look to have fallen into the building, but that doesn't explain why they're embedded so deeply into the floor. There is also some more garbage visible.
>>50217 Get back in the tub and sing the imagination song until it takes you to imagination land.
>>50228 Can you climb down inside?
>>50237 There's not really any reason to climb down there, when I could just walk through the door. I'll look at the intact tower next. It doesn't have a door or windows; it just comes straight up out of the ground.
>>50241 climb the steps and reach the top!
>>50241 climb vaguely stair shaped stones to the top of the tower declare self as "King of the Mountain"
>>50244 Serenade moon.
>>50241 Well walk through the door after the tower then.
There's nothing in that small building but garbage and the stones from the roof! I climb to the roof of the building but there's nothing up here either, I can see the other tower as well from here, but it's too far to jump to.
>>50259 Look out behind you! It's Blooregard from Foster's house of imaginary friends looking from around that block!
>>50259 Yeah there looks to be someone watching you.
There's nothing here!
Brace against a wall to cover your blind side and look around.
>>50267 Look to your left! I mean your other left!
Aha! It's the goblin from the other night!
>>50281 Well hello there. Have you ever danced with the devil under the pale moonlight?
>>50281 Hey there Ms. Goblin! I've been lookin' around for stuff. How are you?
Something tells me she's not going to be very pleased about us wasting an entire day thinking about how to open a door.
>>50281 Have you found your lost ones?
>>50281 Which way did he go, geo- Ahem.
"What are you doing all the way up here!? The slaver is gonna be long gone by now, you've wasted a whole day fooling around!"
>>50305 I was... well I found this spike? ...I'm sorry. I'll get going.
>>50305 I'm a musician, not a woodsman. I couldn't find my ass with both hands out in this godforsaken ruralia. In short, which way did he go?
>>50305 He's gone to Ikkybig! We find them there!
I don't know the easiest way to get there on foot. We could go to Fish Town and cross the river there, or go all the way down to Ikkybig and then to the farms from there. It's shorter going to Fish Town, but we need a vehicle either way.
>>50349 >we need a vehicle either way We have a tub. Does that count?
Oops, I guess it's too late to ask the Sergal mute chick for a ride. Let's follow the road to Fish Town, and wait for some vehicle to pass by and do some hitch-kicking
"...Why did you leave me alone with no instructions, no tools, no vehicle, no way to communicate, and in fact no idea where I was or where I was going?"
>>50451 You have magic powers, I thought you could get them back. >>50403 Does it have wheels?
"I have magic powers, i'm not god damn omnipotent"
>>50481 Hey, there's no need to be rude about it, it's your fault they got captured, remember?
"Right, sorry."
>>50470 See if you can tie the rope to make a lasso. You can snag a rock on the other side.
>>50497 What are you doing with that?
>>50527 Well Vehicles have wheels right? And that tub thing looks like a vehcile...
>>50527 There's stairs over there! Maybe there's a secret passage!
>>50497 Good idea, but what about the other end?
>>50549 There's another block on our side, where you initially looked for the goblin. Tie it there.
>>50470 >You have magic powers, I thought you could get them back. You need your instrument to make them work!
>>50561 She says she will give it to me when we need it! What a harridan! I can climb across this to the other side.
Go for it. Climb across so we can see if there's anything cool there.
>>50564 Ask her if she wants to come with you! We're gonna explore the other tower! If not, just head across.
I can cross the rope to the other rooftop to get here, and Dribliza deftly follows behind. Something is weird about the way she moves so nimbly when she's supposedly pregnant.
>A secret has been revealed! Well, that's certainly an odd thing to find on the second floor of a building!
>>50574 Investigate it closer... What is it?
>>50574 Examine mushy pile of guts.
>>50574 Can you like, make that thing more clearly defined or shine some light on it or use your DOOBIE VISION to make it clearer?
Further inspection does not shed much light on how in the world this ended up here, but at least I know what it is.
>>50582 Looks to me like a ROCKET CAR. Check to see if you can use those stairs to get back down, or if you'll need to rope again.
>>50582 Tip it away from the wall. If we hose it off, it might be a decent vehicle, assuming that it's been cured of randomly teleporting into buildings while remaining the same velocity. Then head downstairs.
Nows a good time to learn how to ride a motorcycle.
But how to get it down?
Get the goblin girl to shimmy back across the rope and untie the other end of the rope. Then, lower the motorcycle down with the rope. Then, figure out a way to get yourself down, possibly using your DOOBIEMANIUM GUT to break your fall.
Well that worked, but I'm not jumping down. I can re lasso the other side though. Is there anything else I should do while I'm up here or what? The second moon is rising, it's getting very late
>>50599 Check the floor below this one.
>>50600 And by that I mean the floor below the floor below the roof. Unless it's clogged, in which case you should set about acquiring shades as soon as possible.
It's really really dark down here.
>>50599 Use the bomb as a candle.
>>50604 light the closest wick possi... wait... use the lighter to look around
So get out your pocket flame.
Hmm, not much light.
>>50612 Well let's just check the box in the corner, making sure we watch our steps as we walk along. If there's nothing interesting, just head out.
Hmm, it's two levers, one stone, and one metal! Should I pull them?
Yes! Make bulldozer sounds with your mouth and pull them both.
in b4 lava floods the world
Try to figure out what the levers are hooked up to.
One of them is made of the same stone as everything else, and one is apparently bronze.
>>50626 Pull them both.
Well, no way to know what they do until they're pulled. Let's get to pulling! The stone one first, if that's important.
>>50626 Pull the bronze one.
pull the bronze one.
>>50626 Pull both.
I hear a click but nothing else happens. Pull the other one now?
Yes. Then go topside to observe effects if any.
>>50637 Of course.
The statue moved aside!
>>50643 Let's head down and check it out.
>>50643 EXPLORE IT IN THE NAME OF YOUR PEOPLE
I'm exhausted, and I can hear thunder! I don't know if it's a good idea to go down here... I really need to get some sleep.
>>50663 Let's see if we can wheel the motorcycle into a place with a roof at least so we can get some sleep.
>>50663 Ride the motorcycle back to the gas station and camp out there like the street bum-I mean BRAVE ADVENTURER that you are.
building 3 seems a reasonable location.
Let's at least check around down there a little bit first. We'll feel really dumb if we opened this up and let a monster out that kills us in our sleep.
>>50676 it's totally dark down there, I can't see anything at all. >>50674 This seems like the best plan, i'll sleep here. It's uncomfortable and kind of damp but I can't stay awake any longer. Dribliza has a backpack! She takes a cot out of it and waits for me to go to sleep.
I guess go to sleep and sleep the sleep of your people.
>>50761 We need to trade that can for gas. But the question is... Who knows how to drive?
I slept poorly, and ate the rest of my Doobie Bread! Where should I head to first?
Explore the underground area down the stairs.
I should really go find a light.
>>51145 Let's go see if we can barter with Kreeg for that flashlight then. Maybe a lantern or something.
IT TWO BOLDROONS, WHAT YOU GOT TO TRADE?
>>51145 Can't you use your lighter to see? Or reflect sunlight with your mirror?
>>51176 We can get him a bathtub? A bathtub and a song? A favor?
I think we should go back and scavenge things from the towers. I say we should first check the dead motorcyclist's body. At the very least get his helmet.
>>51181 It really doesn't provide enough light, and using a mirror only works in one room, that being the one by the stairs. >>51183 KREEG NO TRADE IN FAVORS. THIS NOT BE BATHTUB KREEG THROW OUT IN RUINS IS IT? KREEG GOT A NEW ONE TO KEEP FISHIES IN. DONT' HAVE TO PLUG HOLE WITH STUFF IN THIS ONE.
>>51213 That's a good idea. We need loot. To the loot mobile!
"I have this novelty bowling ball candle I've been keeping in my hair. It burns for twice as long as a normal candle. Would you like it?"
>>51215 See if he'll trade it for the mirror, umbrella, or spike.
THAT MIRROR LOOK NICE, KREEG GIVE 20 BOLDROON FOR IT. THAT UMBRELLA WORTH 10, AND THAT SPIKE YOU JUST BREAK OFF STATUE, KREEG DON'T WANT THAT.
>>51277 Let's go and scavenge things from the tower
But.. but... our umbrella and mirror. :( Let's loot the body. If we find nothing there, then we'll sell the umbrella maybe.
Screw it, let's see if he's got a backpack or something for sale. Let's also sell the umbrella and get the flashlight before the tower.
>>51277 We regenerate, yes? I think we should wear the spike through an ear, or implant it into our forehead and look like a unicorn.
I climb all the way back up the tower and take what I am willing to touch off of the rotting corpse. This most certainly does NOT include the helmet! I've found a metal flask with some strong smelling liquor in it, and five ..umm, copper kobold heads?
>>51309 Very nice! Let's go use two of those to buy a flashlight.
Taste a drop of liquor
Can you at least identify a species? Give two of the copper kobold heads to the loud creature in exchange for a flashlight.
>>51309 Use your umbrella to kinda knock the visor back.
>>51367 >>51371 Gross! No! Apparently the world has gone from a gold standard to kobold head emblems? Kreeg sells me the flashlight >>51360 It's really strong, and really nasty.
>>51378 Ask if you can get a backpack for three more before you head down under the statue. Or some food.
>>51378 Now go explore the dark place.
>>51383 Hasn't Dribliza joined our party? She's got a backpack.
>>51394 Well yeah, but it's heavy. I have a lamp too. What good is going down into that stinky-ass hole going to do anyway? We need to come up with a plan to get the others back!
>>51417 Well, I don't have any ideas, so I was hoping we could go down and, I don't know, find some ancient goblin-tracking device.
>>51417 Well... we need to put gas in the bike, right? Let's see how much 3 more coins will get us. Then if we need more we can go into the hole to see if there's anything we can trade for more gas.
OK, fine. Here's all the stuff I have: >sneaky clothes >sleeping bag >cot >lantern >water bottle >food(4) >multi tool >keyboard
Does ANYone have ANY ideas on where they might have gone?
Our best bet is to be prepared, and the secret hole under the statute looks like it will have awesome stuff that could totally prepare us for the trials and tribulations ahead.
Oh, we should also see if we can't get some wheels on the bathtub and get it to be like, a sidecar or a wagon or something so we can actually have a vehicle that can hold more than one person.
The tunnel ends in a staircase heading down into some water. It's about a floor deep and pretty clear, I can see fish in it! There are some doors leading elsewhere but I can't swim to them! Actually I can't swim at all, Doobies can only float! Plus I'd hate to mess up my pants.
Go back and flip the other switch, the one that didn't shift the statue, the one that made a "click" but didn't do anything.
>>51563 I thought the tunnel was pitch black. Where's the light coming from?
>>51629 We bought a flashlight.
>>51578 OK, I don't hear a click this time though.
>>51801 Let's search around in this room now that we have a light before going down to the water-filled corridor again.
There's nothing else in the room but some loose blocks, and the room is still full of water. It's still at the same level, at least.
>>51809 Drag the bathtub down to that water-filled corridor. We can float across on it, even if it leaks.
This plan is brilliant!
Hmm, it has quite a hole in it. I doubt it will float.
>>51830 Flip it over and walk under it.
>>51838 It... still has a hole in it.
Can your finger plug it up? Also, check to see if anything is in our paint can.
Umm, it's empty, and my finger doesn't exactly fit in the hole.
Put the umbrella through the hole and then unfold the umbrella.
>>51851 Use the spike, or the umbrella
Use the motherfucking umbrella
Hmm, that doesn't exactly work.
Hey, the spike works though?
Ok, where to?
>>51893 LINKS! LINKS! LINKS!
>>51893 Uhh... forward!
Looks like some treasure under the water at the bottom of the stairs. See if you can see what it is more clearly.
LEFT!
>>51933 Fish.
>>51933 I think that's a fish
>>51933 Well it's golden but it's not treasure exactly. >>51936 Yeah. That. We'll head left first.
Point and laugh at the lesser being.
That fish looks like it really needs a hug. Give it a sprinkle of breads and then grab it. Fishes need hugs.
I don't have any bread crumbs, Doobie bread doesn't make crumbs! There's a set of stairs going up and one going down!
>>51957 Try the one going down
Hmm, there are two gratings in here, and it's quite damp.
>>51986 Red dots.
Looks like some uncut gems! What should I do?
>>51994 Pull 'em out. Use your front teeth if necessary.
Hmm, that doesn't really seem practical, I might chip a tooth!
>>52001 Aks Dribliza to use her swiss army knife multi-tool with the gemstones, then.
>>52004 ((Leatherman would have been more appropriate)) She's getting it out, it looks like!
Uh oh! That may not have been the best idea on second thought!
Well, uh, we should continue onward. Does the path continue in this direction, or do we need to go back up the stairs?
Book it! The gratings will probably drain the water away.
OK, where to now? The path with the gratings was a dead end! We can go up these stairs or down the other passage in the flooded room!
>>52058 Down the stairs while we still can.
>>52091 It's much the same as we left it!
Go up the stairs in the previous room.
Okay, check around upstairs, but if there's nothing interesting there, immediately get back in the boat and try the left passage from the flooded room.
>>52098 Use DOOBIEMANIUM TEETH to gnaw through the grate.
>>52114 I think we went over this already. Upstairs there's a bronze door, and more stairs? I'm not sure how far up or down we are.
Go up the stairs I guess.
Try to open the bronze door. If you can't, it's probably linked to the bronze lever (argh!) and you should explore up the stairs.
FUCK. Let's go all the way back out, switch the damn bronze lever, and then come back and see what's behind the damn door.
There are two more levers upstairs, and some rushing water!
Pull one. Left one.
The water level lowers as a door opens somewhere underneath me.
Explore down the stairs.
>>52130 Let's go down and see if the water drained from the room full of water. If so, we can enter the flooded doorway.
I can hear rushing water now, what should I check next?
>>52132 On my way down I hear rushing water, and the stairs are flooded here, but the flooded room is just as we left it.
>>52140 Look into the gem room to see if that's where the rushing is coming from.
>>52141 It is, I can't go down there now. Here's where I've been.
>>52145 Let's check the second passageway off the main room.
Looks like the second passage from the bathtub-rafting room is the only real unexplored place.
>A secret has been revealed! This hallway slopea upward and continues on for a long wa- Oh my!
>>52164 Let's search the body. Looks old enough that it's not still "runny"
I found a locket in its hand with a tiny painting of another one inside. I'm not digging through it, but this was in its hand.
>>52172 Listen to the door. If there's no water, lift the board and open it.
>>52164 step over the corpse and see if you can remove that large bar from the door
It leads outside!
Score! Look around. Also, steal the sergal's hat.
>>52184 See if we can trade the dead sergal's spear for gas.
>>52172 Look closer at the one in the locket. Take the spear too.
Hell, trade everything on the sergal. The dude doesn't need to know it's only a foot away.
Let's hang onto the locket and see if we can't find the one from the locket. Might as well deliver the news.
>>52188 Looks like a sergal, I can't tell them apart. There's light ones and dark ones.
KREEG GIVE YOU FIFTY FOR GLAIVE, IT NICE. NO WANT NASTY OLD SERGAL HAT. SO THERE DEAD SERGAL IN DOOR? KREEG GO BURY LATER. NO WANT DEAD BODY BY SHOP, DRIVE OFF CUSTOMERS.
>>52212 Alright! Let's go and get the bike and some gas! Ask if he's got a backpack for sale.
Can either of you use a glaive effectively? If not, sell it.
Drain the old gas out of the bike first.
>>52217 Kreeg says he has a nice one he will sell for twenty boldroons. I don't know if Dribliza can use a glaive, she is back inside the room with the levers, she wanted to sit down.
>>52224 Yeah let's get the backpack. Sell the glaive, and let's head back to get Dribliza.
I wouldn't really trust her with a sergal glaive against an illithid with a shotgun and mind powers anyway. Sell, buy the backpack, fill up the motorcycle or something.
I'll get Dribliza before I make any decisions. She says she can use a polearm but that one is a bit long, but extremely high quality.
I'm a little unclear. Can you two use the motorcycle as a means of conveyance or not?
Hmm, that doesn't seem like the best of ideas.
>>52253 There is a clear answer to this. Sell glaive, buy sidecar. Wait, then we can't use it to joust with.
HESHKA!? OH GOD NO... WHY!? WHY DID IT HAVE TO BE HESHKA!? I wonder if he knows...
Well, shit. Have we found any evidence whatsoever of where the truck went?
>>51512 Use this dude's idea and see if we can alter the bathtub. Maybe we can get some wheels from the ruins, buy some tools and parts from Kreeg, and see if we can't rig up a doofy sidecar. Get a cushion too. >>52271 Well, Kreeg said a slaver with tentacles went towards Fish Town. The problem is, Tex might just decide to go to Ikkybig anyhow. But yeah, sell glaive, buy backpack.
Kreeg says he will weld me a side car for Thirty boldroons. What should I sell?
>>52296 Is that gem you pried out of the ceiling of any value?
Leave the medallion for yourself. It may be valuable to someone else.
>>52297 KREEG NOT GEM CUTTER, DON'T WANT THAT I'll keep the locket for myself.
>>52301 It's a gas station, right? Ask that freak if he can do any modifications on our new bike. If he can't do it himself he might know of a mechanic who can.
KREEG DON'T MESS WIT ENGINE TOO MUCH, KREEG WELD GOOD! YOU WANT KREEG MAKE TUB CAR? GO ON SIDE OR PULL BEHIND?
>>52310 Hell yeah! Let's sell the glaive and pay him 30 boldroons. Let's pool the other 23 coins and see how much gas we can get. We may have to just worry about a backpack later.
>>52310 On the side obvious, that includes some wheels hopefully. Can he weld the Sergal helmet above the front wheel, as some kind of ornament?
>>52311 This seems good. The Glaive's too big for us.
>>52312 NOT A GOOD IDEA.
Umm, Ok, there we go!
>>52340 Awesome! Let's go then. Fill up the gas tank, but make sure to DRAIN the old gas first.
>>52341 It can't be THAT old, can it?
>>52341 Hmm... can Doobies drink gasoline?
>>52341 The crash looked pretty fresh to me.
>>52466 I mean I figured it was better to be safe than sorry. I suppose it can't have been there too long, so it probably wouldn't hurt to just leave the gas in there.
OK, fuel is two more "coins" and we are ready to go! Is there anything else we should do before leaving?
>>52715 Pose as a team. See if you can purchase shades for this purpose.
>>52715 This is the best thing to grace this board, ever.
>>52715 See if he has any goggles/sunglasses for you two before you go. Then thank Kreeg for doing business with you and be on your way.
>>52725 There are none that will fit me of course, the Doobie morphology is uncommon, but Dribiza can wear some, they're ¤5.
get a pair of goggles and break them in half, then hold the lenses to your eyes when you drive, you don't want to get bugs in them!
Just tough it out. Let's get going in the direction we heard the truck was headed.
>>52776 But I'm not driving!
>>52787 Yeah, I guess you can just cover your eyes.
>>52787 Yeah, don't worry about it just get going.
Where to?
>>52806 No. The green people are Moks. The guys in the armored fighting vehicles. We go to Fish Town.
>>52811 Oh yeah, durr. To Fishtown!
Ok, we're off! Should we bother stopping at anything we see or should we ignore everything and go straight through?
>>52829 Just a montage.
>>52829 If there's something interesting, sure, stop and check it out.
We've wasted too much time already. Only stop if you see something that looks like a weapon, a weapon store, or a clue about where the truck went.
>>53283 >E2M1 :C
>>53283 This is not a montage.
I will miss you Kreeg. ; w; Really well done, we actually got some secrets for once. Good show, team!
oops I made a typo
