Pablo notes that the walls of the lounge feel like wood, nearer the door, but about halfway into the room, the texture becomes more like smooth stone.

Kim notes that this is very unsettling.
Anderson remarks that it's very fortunate they have a lady who can fiddle with electricity to keep them safe.

"Hey, don't scoff," Kim chides. She asks if Anderson's ever seen an electrical fire. There was this one nightclub near where she used to live. It burnt down when she was a kid, from bad wiring or something. A bunch of people died. Rumor around school was one of the bodies was melted to the fire extinguisher.

Pablo recommends they drop the grisly subject, at least until they can leave the room.

did you ever fix a night club back before you came here?

anyways what does the note say?

...also on that note does anyone else find it odd that Kim seems to remember her life outside this place better then others we've seen so far? I mean Pablo couldn't remember his wive's name, Nan had a hard time remembering what her profession is, Anderson didn't recognize his own son according to Pablo. Could be since she is the one person who came from the most recent time she isn't getting hit as hard but still I feel it's worth noting.

>>
No. 602574 ID: 01fba9

Should we mention that her story sounds suspiciously similar to that burning nightclub in this hotel where we were first attacked by Padre Velasco? I mean, it doesn't make sense that the specific night club she's talking about would happen be in this hotel, but nothing's been making sense lately. Take this room for example. It's a goddamn cliff-face cave lounge at the top of a fucking light house. There's no reason why it has to make sense. Reason is dead apparently.

I'm just questioning whether we should trust the others with info they might not really need to know or just keep note of it for later. We might learn something new by discussing it with them, but we might also get them worried for nothing or worse damage their already fractured sanities. Plus, maybe Pablo's right: This could be a bad place to talk. However, there might not be another chance for us all to talk about this later...

DECISIONS. MY ONLY WEAKNESS. What do you guys think we should do?

Yep, that is probably Anderson's letter. It should explain the details of what happened. Nan, look for the keyword "Bed" - Anna's Blasted Corpse was found in an elevator, Alan's corpse was under a bed.

Keep all the notes in your inventory. They may be useful in the future. For the heck of it, you should probably stock up on anything you find here, since your inventory is lighter.

... About the nightclub. Look, if it was an accident and you did your best, then all you can say is that you didn't cut corners and would fix the problem if given a second chance. Assuming that it was your work that accidentally set the building on fire.

Whether or not you're guilty of negligent homicide, you called your work your "duty". That takes a level of dedication to say normally about your day job. You've got little to be guilty about if you showed effort and respect in your work on an average daily basis.

For now, survive. If you can keep living, you can keep redeeming other Blasted Corpses. You might be able to fix this mess like you did for Anna and Alan. You may even be able to escape to an alternate timeline, and fix the damn nightclub wiring correctly. Or just sabotage it intentionally and call in an engineer to help you with the wiring mess.

You haven't given up throughout this journey. And you're still alive. Keep going!

Oh and watch out for Santiago. He is probably following you. He might be helpful, what with being part Dark.

P.S. I'm posting from a different location, so my ID is different.

... oh. Sorry, I wasn't looking at the letter.

Well... damn. Nan, be careful. Showing this to Anderson outright might make him snap. Tell him the truth: you know now that he and his son were on opposite sides of the law, and this letter was a curse against him for hiding his violent/ruthless nature behind a badge. HOWEVER, tell him that YOU. CHANGED. HISTORY. When you saw him in that vision, he was fumbling for a pen. His mind was overloaded from all the pressure and thoughts in his mind, and he needed to spill them out on paper. But he didn't have a pen. YOU gave him the pen he needed. It changed things -

WAIT. Right. Changed history. That would explain all the amnesia.

TELL ANDERSON THERE IS HOPE, THAT BECAUSE OF WHAT YOU DID, ALAN COULD STILL BE ALIVE. IN AN ALTERNATE TIMELINE PERHAPS, BUT STILL ALIVE.

What the hell did Alan mean by "darkness inside of you"? Anyway, I guess... Anderson shot Alan while he was hiding under the bed. Or THOUGHT he was shooting Alan, only to accidentally shoot the hostage that Alan stashed under the bed. Or something like that.
