Finally about the currency… this is a stupid way we do things, but you have to play along to get ahead here. Our currency is based off of some trading card system that is generated through rarity. You win races and collect cards based on how well you race, these cards can be used to buy either food or clothes in the garage shops or they can be traded into me to collect card related equipment to modify and customize your vehicle. I’ll try to give you an example of how this works, our trading cards are called /QUEST/ , so all the cards are based off something or another and they have characters on them. A common character to collect is Dompag, if you were to go grab a bite to eat you’d have to pay multiple Dompag cards to grab… say a sandwich. Now, say you were needing a new item to slap on your shitty ride, then you can trade your dompag to me for D.I.K.
It’s an acronym for dynamic incendiary kannon so don’t give me that shitty look. Anyway, it’s a terrible weapon and I would have to say good luck to you after I got it for you. Moving on now, Dompag is a common card that you can collect from pretty much anyone, but there are different rarity of cards that will be considered higher on the monetary scale, so keep this in mind as well… it should say the rarity next to the name when you get one. The list of rarity is this, Useless, Common, Uncommon, Rare, Crazy rare, and Extinct.
In the beginning we had the same amount of copies made for all of the cards, and the theory was that after you traded them in they would go back into circulation. Sadly that’s not what happened, turns out that some cards when traded in related to a piece of equipment that was so intensely powerful or crazy that some racers ripped the cards up so as to not let it circulate and fall into other racers hands. One card I can think of is the Beardbeard card, if anyone traded it in they would get the DORFGODENJIN. The DORFGODENJIN was so ridiculously crazy that it would tear apart full blown chunks from the track in order to teleport full bounds ahead of the competition.
