"Urgh....Don't wanna do that again..."

Here we are, little rambly voices in my head, home sweet home. The big-grinning bastard sure gave me one hell of a smack through the Warp.
Usually, I get shot outta real nicely onto these pillows when I get stuck. But friggin' Xom fires me outta there like a rocket.

Oof, might've dented the wall...

Pillow-wall looks pretty dented but well...That's because I just crashed into it at high speed. It'll puff out.

>>26076
>Oh, her? Why that is the beautiful and infinitely kind Miss Cassandra Raines.

Now, with questions answered, I've something to show you,

So, hoping this is right, the screen here is called my 'State of Being.' It shows you my gear, my abilities, my stats, whats on hand and my 'Soul'.

If you need any explanation on anything, please do not hesitate to ask.

Now, certainly judging by your confusion regarding what is going on, I've got a little explaining to do about that. To start off, I'm what the normal world would call...A delivery boy. Of sorts. I don't deliver pizza, or flowers or messages.

I deliver the weird stuff.
Now, this sorta stuff isn't what a mommy and daddy might play with in their bedroom. And it CERTAINLY isn't illegal, so much as the Government would say.
In fact, they are one of our BIGGEST customers.

No, my dear voices, I deliver shit like you'd see at the end of Raiders of the Lost Ark.

On a day to day basis.

Sometimes I'm with my partner, sometimes the customer comes with and sometimes I'm dead alone. Been at this for 4 years now and I've seen all kinds of and experienced so much stuff that its left me not remembering my own age (kinda stabbed it somewhere in my early twenties) most of the time.

Now what happened here was that I got hired by this goblin chick to retrieve you from a fellow named Xom (who I hope not to meet again) so her boss, a beakface named...Mushypants? Musical? Don't remember. Not important.

Thing is though...There is this weird itch in the back of my head. Tellin' me that Beakface ain't gonna be needin' you back. Not sure how I know, but I do.

So, what I'm gettin' at is, you are stuck with me now.

And Xom be damned if you won't come in handy at some point.

I'm Q and welcome to Strange Delivery Service.

>Good to hear. I'm sure we'll work well together.
>Well, I don't have a boss per se. SDS isn't really an official...'Business'. We sit down with potential customers, hear what needs to be delivered, where it is and if it must be retrieved first, and what the dangers might be and any other info we need to know. Then, we give them a price we think is fair. If they don't agree, we haggle. They pay half now and then pay the other half when the delivery is completed. Standard procedure for us.
>As for deliveries today, I don't know. Just got back and all. My dear Miss Raines or my partner would have handled any potential delivery orders while I was gone, so they'll be upstairs if anywhere.
>As for the SCP, how you even KNOW about them boggles my mind. They aren't apart of any national government. Purely their own thing. But we have delivered a few things to them in the past either from their agents or from other...Entities, lets say.

>Fightan Gaem is...Kinda weird. Having been to plenty of those, I picked up some of the more key moves by watching and learning. Not sure what you mean by 'invincibility frames' but my moveset...Nothing specifically set for myself, but I know quite a few from those Street Fighter guys. Others I can't quite remember right now. spiral energy in TTGL is symbolically representative of DNA, and its ability to evolve into more powerful forms. It is representative of limitless potential, always spiraling upward toward the heavens.

Gattai is from like a dozen shows, TTGL being only the most recent and fashionable example. (that pic earlier is an older example with a similar art style, not TTGL) It is the idea of combining things to become more than the sum of the parts. I eagerly await seeing how this will manifest with this particular individual.

What about Yoshimitsu from Soul Caliber 4? Fucker could meditate with a sword in hand to slowly regenerate. Crappy move in a fight because it took so long, but since no one is currently trying to kill you, now might be a good time to bust out that move if you know it.

We have lots of knowledge about tropes and heroes. You're either in it for... money, a job well done, or because you have paladin habits.

Or some combination thereof.

Considering your speeches, however, I wouldn't mind hearing it from your own mouth. But you should probably get yourself patched up (unless you expect Miss Raines to do that for you) before going upstairs.

Get some clothes on, check to see if there's anything to eat.

Then, explain what is going on. You've made your dramatic monologue, but you still haven't told us what you're trying to accomplish. "A promise to get everything back to normal"? A promise to who? What isn't normal? What's causing those nightmares? It's hard to give direction when we have no idea where you want to go.

[Alright, here's how it works. That black thing you saw earlier? His name is Argent. He is a shadow golem with free will. Due to a particular incident in the past, he has part of my soul which has effectively bonded our life energies together. If he dies, I go. If I go, he goes. We don't like this situation and want to break the bond. But it isn't that easy.]

[You see, we live with the Old Man. This dude used to be this top-notch wizard till a few years back. He is the only one who can break the bond. Wouldn't ya know, he can't. Motherfucker doesn't have most of his memories. Everything he knew about magic is in Argent which is due to that same incident.]

[The promise I made was to Cass. It's a little complicated why. But I basically promised to get her grandfather, the Old Man, back to the way he was before.]

[The reason I'm having these nightmares is due to part of my soul being gone and some shit I've encountered on my deliveries.]

[So, basically, me and Argent are soul-bonded. We want it broken. Old Man can only do that. Old Man doesn't remember how. We need to give him his memories back. We don't know how.]

[That explain enough or anything you want me to expand on?]
