You wake up..somewhere, you have no memory of...anything really.. You know that there are 4 walls surrounding you, and you can see a flickering screen in the darkness. There is a window to your right.

>What does woe mean?
Mi looks at you oddly, but it soon passes. She smiles and stretches your cheeks once again. Boo tries to join in, but fails because of lack of hands.

>Hmm. You may ask me some questions about this world though I may not have exact answers.
Raen looks at you oddly, but she seems willing to talk.

I turn the tables and lightly flatten the tip of Mi's nose with a finger before giving her my silliest cross-eyed look.

I turn my attention slightly back to Raen, at least enough to let her know I'm talking to her. "Does 'Crown Royal' mean anything to you as a name of an Evicanae? You wouldn't happen to know who's it is, would you?" Seems she doesn't want any personal questions yet, so I'll leave those for later.

>What about you guys? Does 'Royal Crown' ring any bells?

I repeat the question to Pertinax and Pyrite Fire, leaving their little authority struggle up to them. If I'm going to have to put up with both of them, I don't want to have to take sides unless it's absolutely necessary.

>Crown Royal...
Raen suddenly gains a hateful look on her face.
>That is the Evicanae of the Tyrant, the source of all the hate in this world.
Suddenly, her Evicanae begins to Evoke. Her skin gains a brilliant sapphire shell. Her hands become sharp claws, wicked weapons that would have no problem ripping part any sort of armor or piercing any sort of crack. Then Garnet Spear begins to manifest over Sapphire Claw, giving an evil purple hue to the armor as well as sharp pikes on her shoulders. Her helm becomes a visage of a god of hate and vengeance. It was seriously fearsome, and you are thankful that she did not use both Evicanae against you.

>Wahhh....."
Mi became scared at this sudden change, and begins to cry. Boo suddenly combines with her, though the spikes have not come out yet. Her armor seems to be more defined now, instead of a blobby, vaguely humanoid shape that resembled your armor it looked much more streamlined and she now has hands.

>Master, I have not heard of the Crown Royal, but I have access to Garnet Spear's memories. It seems that he is the Evicanae of the current ruler of this earth, and commanded the death of all the Organi through his Pestilence. It seems that The Tyrant is able to create such diseases, though they are ineffective against MachinOrgani. Not much is known from what I have...Sorry.

>Uh... guys? Should I be Evoking here too?

"Raen! What's- what are you doing?" Is this what the man in my dreams was talking about? How Raen is like me, meant for killing? I thought we were starting to connect, that I could build a group of friends... is that truly impossible? Is this where it ends? Did I cause the spark that will burn down my fragile little world?

"Raen, you're scaring Mi." I stand up next to Mi and carefully step in front of her, putting myself between Mi and Raen. I haven't Evoked yet (I don't want to appear threatening), so all I can do is pray Raen doesn't attack or that my Evicanae can Evoke before I get shredded if she does.

Raen calls back both of her armors.
>Its just that...The Tyrant has caused so much...pain...I have heard so much about him...He is not a nice person.
The armor is fully recalled, though it visibly causes Raen pain to do so. It is not the most comfortable thing, to recall an Evicanae. Mi is still crying, though she does not seem as scared. Boo, by this time, has gone back to being liquid metal.

"I- I understand. I'm sorry I made you upset." I hope she learns to control her impulsiveness... maybe this will be a lesson for her.

I turn around and lean down next to Mi. "It's okay, Mi. Raen just got... scared by something. Do you remember when you got scared and Boo made you go all spiky? Well the same thing can happen to us sometimes. She didn't mean to frighten you." I give the girl a comforting hug.

>Pyrite Fire, I command you to tag both Raen and Mi as 'friendlies.' Furthermore, your lack of situational analysis and resource appreciation is most disappointing. >Pyrite, I need you able to adapt to changing circumstances. If you can't do that, you won't be able to serve me properly. It's simple as that. Please do your best, otherwise I won't be able to utilize your help to take out any enemies.

Now, to Mi's apparent memory problems... "Well, when we first met we promised to help you control your abilities. Raen, what do you say we teach Mi how to use Boo's power properly?" Maybe by getting Raen involved she won't feel so bad about her earlier outburst. Not to mention I have no idea how to teach anything about Evicanae, especially primitive ones. Hopefully together we can figure it out.

>94444hhhh...i 5h411 7ry...
While Pyrite Fire seems to be slightly put off, he seems honest.

>Well...She SHOULD have all the information on how to use her Evicanae. I can not really help her. Techniques that I use were taught to me by Garnet Spear, and all of those take into account if an internal Evicanae rather than an external one. I heard different techniques are needed for those who were in the experiment. But I have heard that Absorbing Evicanae can help reveal Locked knowledge. She would need to Absorb enemy Evicanae in order to do so...The Wild Ones would be perfect for her, as they are similar enough to Boo...
>>

>The information is all there, she just needs to unLock it.
Raen looks at Mi for a moment.
>Mi, do you remember anything that those people taught you?

Mi looks thoughtful.

I'm not so sure we should be reminding Mi of the people from before since her reaction to thinking about them had been decidedly adverse last time. But maybe now that she's more stable, it'll be alright.

I wait for Mi to answer, deciding to question my Evicanae in the meantime.

>Pertinax, while I was asleep, I had a rather... interesting dream. Did you happen to witness it too?
>>
No. 24705 ID: ddd49b

>A Dream? I was not aware of this...Though I have no reason to. Evicanae can not dream, though we are a part of you. I'm not quite sure why...I don't think I can look at your dreams either, Master.
Pertinax sounds slightly depressed.

>Hmm...
Mi is still thinking deeply. Nothing really bad has happened yet.
>They taught me how to make Boo change shapes~. It was fun, but then they told me to stop, and I did. If I didn't they made it hurt. That wasn't fun. I didn't like them a lot.
Crisis averted, Mi seems to be more stable now, or at least she doesn't look like she will be going into a panic attack any time soon.

Phew. "Well then, we'll have to help you do some training once we get to the wilderness. Raen and I need to train too, so we can all go adventuring together."

>Well, that's alright, I'll tell you what happened. I met a man who said his Evicanae was Crown Royal, presumably he was the Tyrant. However he said he didn't know who he was, and he referred to the 'Golden Emperor,' a.k.a. the Tyrant, in the third person. The most interesting thing is that he seemed to indicate he wanted to die, he flat-out told me he's bored with living. He said he'd be on his thrown if I made up my mind, presumably to fight and kill him.

>Pyrite, do you know anything about this dream I had? He mentioned you specifically, saying that if I was seeing him, you weren't doing your job well enough. He also said it was up to you to take out any Evicanae given to me by the Golden Emperor. What did he mean by that?

You feel a sharp pain in your head, similar to the pain that Pertinax showed you when he tried to remove the Restrictions on your memory.
>Master...Perhaps Pyrite Fire has some restrictions on his functions as well...If what you said was true, the figure does not want to give up the ghost just yet, so to speak. I am not sure why the Tyrant would program an Evicanae to do such a thing...

All this sitting and talking is making me antsy. I decide to look out the window for a bit. "Raen, do you know where this train will be stopping?" I figure that's a less annoying way of asking 'how much longer 'til we get there'.

"Hah, talk about timing!" That was a crazy coincidence. "Let me put the train in park and then let's go take care of that thing." It wouldn't do if we get rid of whatever's blocking the train and it takes off with us on the outside.

"You do think we can take it, right Raen?" Her nervousness seems odd, considering we're all walking weapons...
>>

>...As I have said, it is not supposed to be alive, even when the Organi were alive. It was supposed to be long dead. It was a creature that lived during the ages where ice was everywhere, and only Organi lived. It ruled over all, nothing stood in its way. To have survived this long, it would have to have some sort of tricks up its sleeve...We must be careful.

You go to the front of the train and, with Pertinax's instructions, you stop the train. Heading outside, you finally see the real size of the monster. It was twice as large as the train. You could see it's ugly, furred face, its size accentuating the pure black eyes and gnashing maw. It looks like it wants to destroy the train. Mi is shaking, though you don't know if it is fear or-

Okay, if that thing suddenly gets covered in shiny armor and grows a bunch of melee weapons... I think I'll freak out.

"Watch out, Mi. It's a wild animal, so it's probably not going to be friendly."

I guess this is my first fight... besides the quick clash with Raen. I'm not really sure what the protocol here is. I decide to watch Raen and see what she does, letting her take the lead due to her greater experience.

The creature sees you, then begins to roar. It suddenly gains a strange sheen. You can see each strand of fur become as sharp as a needle. It gains pointed tusks, and it's teeth begin to grow outward. It begins to foam at the mouth. Several hollow-looking tubes begin to grow out of its back and begin to aim at you. A single, large and elegant-looking eye appears in the center of what you assume was its head.

Raen quickly Evokes her Evicanae, gaining her sapphire sheen and wicked claws. She begins to move quickly, striking the monster in paces where she thinks will not be as armored. She seems to be in physical pain as she strikes the creature though. Mi is staring at the monster, though with much less enthusiasm. She begins to tear up, and Boo immediately combines with her, forming the familiar-looking armor. It looks slightly more different this time, a more defined shape. It begins to look like your Evocation, though smaller and with a sort of "spiked shell" on her back. Actually, spikes seemed to be everywhere on her. Mi doesn't act though, and looks nervous.

Holy shit... Good thing I prepared myself mentally...

>Alright, time to Evoke and Equip (Pertinax).

"Mi, try not to worry. Just keep moving and you'll be alright. Think of it as playing tag, a dangerous game of tag that you have to win." I want to keep her calm but emphasize the importance of taking this seriously.

And then I'm off. I don't know what those tubes do, but I don't want to be caught flat-footed if they start shooting. I try and stay to the side of it, away from the front, moving in the opposite direction as Raen. It can't go after both of us at the same time (I hope). I aim for it's legs with my blade arms, hoping to paralyze them to bring the beast down.

>Master...Something's changed about us...Though remember that you can only use a single option. Having two of us does not mean two commands.
Your Evocation, or armor, seems extremely different since your first use. You feel even lighter, much more than your first time. You also feel slightly unbalance-
Whoa, that did not happen before...You actually have an arm now. Your left spike has become an arm with a fully functional hand, useful to use that new spear on your back. Your right arm stays a spike, though it grew in size and gained many more blades. It's quite the wicked weapon. Your legs are still thin, vaguely leg-like spikes, though they feel much, much stronger.

You move, though it takes MUCH experimenting to get you balance correctly and to not get out of control. You got MUCH faster. You aim your wicked, drill-like bladed instrument at the beast's legs, hoping to cause both atrophy and paralysis. It slices through easily, piercing its surprisingly soft flesh. It seems that the metal needles was the whole armor. The beast roars in horror, and recoils. Its tubes begin to whirr, and you can see a flash of light gathering in them. You look over to see what everyone else is doing.

Mi is taking you advice and moving around, and is sprouting out spikes from her body. It seems that while she stands still she keeps her humanoid form, but while she moves she becomes more and more blobby. Raen is still piercing its flesh, but she looks extremely fatigued. She also seems to be bleeding, judging from how her armor's color seems darker and how slick it looks.

((S'just that...This is going in directions that I didn't expect. Mi wasn't even supposed to exist, she just something spontaneous. I mean, Pertinax wasn't supposed to even be "alive"...Raen was a bit more open to you in a previous scenario that will not be brought back. Basically, in the 4-Chan version, you had used the Wake option and blacked out. You woke up holding onto Raen's severed arm. You then were supposed to go on the train to a random direction. It was much different than what I had planned. >Thank you, Pyrite. That's very helpful.

I don't know how much more of this Raen can take... although I have no idea what's hurting her. Nevertheless, I've got to bring this thing down.

"Raen, fall back if you need to. I think I can handle this thing. Just be careful!"

I run directly underneath the beast and attempt to jump up and attack it's underbelly with my new weapon. If I can, I'll try to grab hold of it and continue stabbing/drilling into it. If I can't jump that high, I'll attack the insides of its legs until it comes crashing down, at which point I'll prop up my spear so the beast lands on it and impales itself. Then commence the stabbing.

>>25115

It's your call.))

>U-understood...
Raen jumps back, kneeling down near the train trying to regain her stamina.

You hurry underneath the beast and try to jump and pierce its soft underbelly. It succeeds...But you seem to have pierced all the way through, covering yourself in its blood and gore. It falls over, dying and going unconscious. You wonder what do do...

The menu pops up with the option: Absorb, but you may want to give the Evicanae to another member. Mi has now gone up to the creature and is now poking it.

I definitely want to give the Evicanae to Mi. If it has even a chance of helping her mind, it's entirely worth it. I head over near Mi and see if I can talk her through it.

"Mi, do you remember how the other people taught you to keep the Boo of a person after you poked them hard? I'd like you to try taking the Boo of this big fellow. He may look scary, but his Boo is just like yours, and it'll make you grow stronger. Do you think you can do that?"

Mi looks at the giant Behemoth in concentration. She seems to be trying really hard. Eventually the spikes on the Behemoth retract back into fur and it begins to become what it was before the Evocation. Mi seems to shudder for a moment, then slumps down. Hopefully the armor is self-cleaning and I won't be covered in guts when it comes off. Then I scoop Mi up to sit her on my shoulders so we can walk back to the train together (assuming she doesn't mind, of course).

When we get closer to Raen, I check her for any serious injuries. "We should be good to go now. Are... are you alright, Raen?"

>I think we are in the wilderness...
You follow Raen's example. You see a direct contrast with the dead plains that you saw earlier. To both sides of the track are large trees. The ground is covered with grass. You can sense some forms of life hiding in the darkness made by the forests.

"Oh, well, okay." I make a mental note to let Raen absorb the next Evicanae we come across. Hopefully that will improve her armor. Actually, I have no idea how that works...

>Pertinax, what exactly does Absorbing an Evicanae do?

I look around at the forest with a mixture of anticipation and anxiety. "Huh... so you don't want to take the train deeper in? I guess this is fine, but we ought to see about finding or making some shelter. As a base camp or safe haven, I mean," I add, remembering that we don't actually need sleep.
>>
No. 26778 ID: ddd49b

>Absorbing an Evicanae allows one to take in certain aspects of the absorbed Evicanae, then incorporate them in the best ways possible. As with myself I was able to take in a new hand, a weapon, improve the effects of my ability, and increase speed. The armor is only slightly increased. Your best physical aspect is your nimbleness, as you have shown in your first fight with Raen. You were able to avoid most injuries by just avoiding them. While some of your lesser aspects will improve, Evicanae mostly look to improve the best aspects.

"I'm not worried about sleep," I try and counter her look with an expression of my own that conveys my confoundment at her lack of strategic foresight.

"There are plenty of other reasons to have a base. We could use a place to store anything we find that we don't want to carry on us at all times. We need somewhere we can meet up if we get separated. We need a place to regroup if we get bested in a battle. Plus there might be environmental reasons to find shelter. I would rather have a base and not need it than find out we need it and not have it. Call it preparation or paranoia, but I like to be careful."

>The train will suffice. It seems too large to be taken from us, and only you are able to control it, to my knowledge. I shall look through the train and I will tell you if i find anything of importance.
She turns around and re-enters the train. You are left alone with Mi. The corpse of the Behemoth is right next to the train.

"Aye, that I am-" I cover my accidental accent adoption with a cough and a clearing of my throat. "I mean, yes. Her and one other. This is Mi, the most energetic one of the bunch." I gesture back at the train vaguely, "Our other companion is Raen; she can be a bit... high strung and doesn't freely give her trust, so please be patient with her. And there's me. You can call me Mirk. We're... refugees, I suppose you could say. Wanderers without any real goal. We came out here to train and were surprised by this, uh, Behemot."

It strikes me that I don't actually know how MachinOrgani families work. Are they based on biological relation or some sort of loyalty oath? For that matter, I have no idea how MachinOrgani are made... in a factory or born? Until I know more, I decide plausible deniability is the most advantageous course.

"Mi is sort of... adopted. We found her under some rubble and she was just too lovable to leave by herself. We had a bit of a rocky start, but I wouldn't trade her for the world. As for Raen... well actually, when we first met she was doing her best to kill me," I chuckle briefly at just how much things have changed, and how much I've learned since I first encountered my faceless assailant-turned teammate. "I must admit, it's a relief to come across another person who's sick of all the mindless violence."

I do my best dramatic pose, eyes focused on something beyond the horizon, shoulders burdened with the weight of the world. "We've all been affected by the Ty- Golden Emperor's reign... but what difference can three mere wanderers make?"

"Hmm," I consider what he said briefly. Maybe war would be a nice change of pace... a clear enemy and clear objectives? Sounds better than running around aimlessly. However I don't know if the Tyrant could be beaten in open military conflict.

I chuckle at Schae's statement, but I think it's time to clear things up a little bit. "No no, it's not like that. We just decided that two heads are better than one. I can fight, but I also have a nasty case of amnesia, so really I need her more than she needs me."

This sentiment of longing for war has me thinking though... even if we do kill the Tyrant, can this world really be rebuilt? Can creativity be restored? Or will it just last until the next person in power gets bored and decides that we need another good war?

"Have you thought about doing anything productive or creative? Something besides killing?"

"Hah, don't worry, Mi. Let me help." I move forward to support her weight with one hand while trying to untangle her with the other.

"Well, I'd offer you a spot in our little family if I thought you'd accept, Schae, but I don't know if we'll be doing enough fighting to... satiate you. Still, we do plan on training out here and that means as much combat as we can find. Of course, I'd need to talk it over with Raen."

I turn and look back at the train. "Speaking of Raen, I wonder what's taking her."
>>

>Bah, I usually go alone in my trainin'. You all will just hold me back...Gah.
You successfully untangle Mi, but some hairs are ripped out. She quickly tries to throw it far away from her.
>Anyway, I doubt that your partner will not like me. I have killed quite a few of her side. Something for you to think about laddie: The war was divided between the genders. Oh, a few of our side worked for that blasted Goddess, but that was it. She prob'ly sees meh, an' is tryin' to compose herself. I will leave a'fore it gets messy. I pray you good luck Comrade!
Schae then walks back towards the forest and Raen coincidentally appears.

Gender? Ohhhh...

"Raen!" I walk toward her but pause. "I didn't know the factions were based on gender. You never told me. I'm sorry."

Something strikes me as odd... "Wait... how did you know his Evicanae's name?"
>>

Raen looks indignant.
>How could I not know him. He wiped out over 1500 of my Sisters all by himself in a single battle. That battle was actually one of the deciding factors of the war. The Tyrant began to create more highly destructive warriors, more...beast-like in fighting techniques. We could not keep up with his soldiers, and had no choice but to surrender.

Wow... we're lucky to still be alive.

"Raen, I didn't know anything of the war or this world or myself or- I need your help to fill in the blanks in my memory and learn about things that everyone else takes for granted. And when you go away, I've got nothing. I just have to hope that I'm not talking to some kind of mass-murderer psychopath."

"I... I know I may seem callous or unsympathetic at times, but I promise it's entirely out of ignorance. I wouldn't have sat there getting chummy with him if I'd known who he was and what he'd done... and what it would do to you. I'm sorry."

>*Sigh*...I guess I should tell you some back-story about all of this. Several Millenia ago, perhaps more, the first MachinOrgani were created by the Organi to be their servants. For centuries, our predecessors were treated as slaves, less than garbage. Then two MachinOrgani rose up and tried to make things more...Equal for us. They both worked to change how we were seen and thought of and succeeded. But one of the original pair, The Golden Emperor, wanted us to be the dominant race and tried to kill all the Organi. My leader, Pearl Goddess, tried to stop him, resulting in the war. The Tyrant began to create his army, sometimes brainwashing peaceful MachinOrgani into joining him. It was a dark war. By the time it ended, he had released the pestilence and many MachinOrgani had died. I was created near the end of the war and did not get to see much action. I presume that you may have been created much earlier and had died. Obviously Mi was made near the middle of the war, when we needed a boost in power.
Raen seems to be trying to stay emotionless during her whole explanation.

"But why would factions be based on gender? Is gender nothing more than an aesthetic for us? Are... all men really..." I shake my head and try and make sense of all this. "Okay, so if I understood you correctly, the original war was over whether the Organi should be killed or not... but they're all dead now. So why hasn't the war ended and both sides made peace by now?"

The reason hits me like a lightening bolt. "Because MachinOrgani don't die of old age, of course. Raen, thank you for explaining it to me. Knowing that, it makes me even more grateful that you're letting me stick by you. Thank you." I step closer and move to put a hand on her shoulder, if she doesn't pull away or give me a cross look.

I'm starting to get tired of Raen distancing herself, of her hating me because of what I am rather than who I am. I turn my back to her and silently walk away, stopping to pick up Mi and place her on my shoulders again. "Let's just go. We'll see what we can find."

"How are you doing, Mi? Do you feel any better after absorbing that other Boo?"

Hopefully nothing bad happens...Especially if she is on your shoulders.

>I suggest that we move into the forest. Our purpose here is to train and become stronger.
You do not need to hear her to know the rest of the sentence: "to kill the Tyrant." Raen seems to have only one goal in her mind, which is to kill the Tyrant, but you are not sure if it would consume her or not. Hopefully it will not.

>I was actually thinking about that very same thing, Pertinax. Comforting that our speculations are coinciding. Maybe she was told to come back with the Silver Fire's... body or Evicanae or whatever... or not to come back at all. Which means she probably blames me for not being the Silver Fire. Hell, she said that before she accepted my apology, that she hates me for not being him.

>I'm starting to wonder if I should just kill her and be done with it.

"I have those words too, and I'm still trying to figure it out, Mi. Don't use any of 'em now, you can try them out next time we come across one of those big things." Maybe Boo will be able to talk with a few more Evicanaes absorbed.

"Yes, yes. Forest it is. Let's keep track of which way we're moving in case we need to head back." I start walking at a 50 degree angle with the track, heading away from the rails and further into the woods.

((Alright...I have a final scene...This will be the last scene in Part One of Silver Quest.))

>It will be alright.
You assurance toward Mi seems to calm her down. You take the time to reflect on what had happened since your awakening...Though you do not know if it was worth the troubles. Raen is too unstable for you to trust completely, even though the both of you went through trials together...You actually consider killing her to save you trouble later on, just in case she decides to kill you.

>You wanted to make a base area? Well let us try the cave up ahead.
Raen calls back towards you, almost not bothering to look back. You see the cave she was referring to as you go up the path. It seems abandoned and safe. Hopefully it is.
---
The group decides to spend the night. This sets off signals in your head because Raen herself decided to set up camp, especially after her disdain for "Organi Limitations". You set up a fire using the Equip command, creating your metal arm. You rub it against a rock, causing sparks to go on the wood gathered. Mi soon falls asleep, presumably tired from Absorbing a new Eviacanae. Raen gestures you to follow her deeper in the cave. It sets off signals, but you do so anyway...

>I would like to have a private moment...with you...
Raen sounds nervous, perhaps even slightly convicted.
>I apologize for my actions...It is just that...The Tyrant has caused much damage and destruction...I...I am my teacher's daughter, one of the first Natural-Born MachinOrgani since the war. She was...soiled by someone on the other side, kept alive for torture until she was freed. By this time she was...pregnant with me. I brought hardship and ridicule to her. I was living proof of the failure of the Garnet Spear. It just...
raen pauses a moment, trying to keep her emotions in check.
>My mother died soon after in battle. That was when I decided to try to get revenge on her rapist. The only clue was that the enemy was one of the Elite Fighters of the Tyrant. I decided that it was the Silver Fire because of the rumors of the Primitive Evicanae and MacinOrgani. Garnet Spear was the only one on our side to come back alive from fighting the Silver Fire, so I assumed that she was later kidnapped by him, then raped. So I sought out his tomb, bringing back his head to regain honor. That is when I found you...I had never felt so much hate for someone who was neither the Silver Fire nor the Tyrant. But...Now I feel conflicted about you...I still hate you for not being the Silver Fire but...I feel something else about you...
Raen shifts closer to you, holding on to your hand. She slowly gets on top of you, bringing her face closer to yours.
>I...I do not know what to call this feeling...Maybe we can find out together...?
She closes the gap between your faces, touching her lips to yours. You are too surprised to react.

The both of you share a moment that night. You felt closer to her, connected to her. Your bodies became one, as if you were one person. It feels nice...to be close to someone...

((Almost done...))

You wake up the next morning, with a vivid memory of the last night. You look around to see that you are near the mouth of the cave, next to the fire. You do not see Raen, but you see Mi crouched up next to the now extinguished fire. There is a note carved in a rock, etched in with what looks like sharp claws.

>Please do not look for me. I thank you for being there. I thank you for listening to my words and staying with me. But I must try to act by myself, to find my own answers to my questions. I left because I could not handle my feelings. You need a comrade who is more stable, more at peace with him or herself, not me. We may meet again, but I doubt it will be soon. Thank you...
-Raen

You look out at the sunrise, thinking of a new day.

>Where's Raen?

Do you have any idea on when to expect Part Two? I don't wanna rush you but damn I love this story.
>>
No. 30550 ID: ddd49b

((Alright...I'll post some possible scenarios that could have happened.

If you went to the screen or tried to knock out Raen when you first see her instead of trying to kill her, you Evicanae would not have spoken. In fact, none of the Evicanae would have had a consciousness if you had done either of those things.

Raen could have been much "softer" with you if you had kept Garnet Spear, gone to the screen, and used Connect. She would have snuck up on you, and you would have the choice of Evoke, Equip, or Break. Using Break would stop her armor from forming. This also breaks her will/spirit and she becomes more complacent. I planned on her later hating you and attacking you once more if that scenario panned out. Of course it did not.

Mi was a spontaneous creation. In the pack was a "dead" Evicanae that did almost nothing.

If you had used Wake, you would have blacked out. You would have woken up to a scene of destruction and holding onto Raen's severed arm.

A character that never showed up...well, I'm going to probably add him to part two...))

>>

Sounds like it could have ended up quite differently. Why wouldn't the Evicanae have had a consciousness? And what do you mean by 'softer'? Just that she lacked the willpower to be obstinate? That doesn't seem like a better alternative, so I'm glad that didn't happen.

I don't mind waiting for part two, it's good to try new stuff so you don't get burned out. Just don't forget it entirely. ;)
>>
No. 30559 ID: ddd49b

I had planned for Evicanae to be a sort of...Symbiotic weapon. Like a life-support system. If you lost it, you died. Giving them life was much easier to do, now that I think about it...

Yeah, by "softer" I meant submissive and "weak"...She would have been kinda annoying, now that I think of it. She would have been extremely weak, and would have done most of what you asked her.

I'll try not to forget Silver Quest...I'm pretty scatter-brained in real life...
