See what she has, but she DOES seem like the kind that could be a pickpocket. On the other hand she is goddamn adorable. Who knows what she might have? I say its at least worth a look.

Yeah, she's cute, but get back on track, Rynh. We need to find a caravan headed in the direction we're going. Make sure you're stocked up on rations.

This is tgchan. I am surprised no one mentioned it yet, but take her home. Bring her along in the party. Keep a sharp eye on her, though, as the cutebold is ours. Make that point clear from the getgo.

I don't think dragging a little kid I've never met along with me would be wise. I doubt she'd be useful and I also think that would be kidnapping.
Tura seems to be handling it.

"Alright, rodent. Don't be playing around here. I'm not explaining to your mom that we had to yank your mangled carcass out of the spokes of an ox cart. Scram!"

"Okay, boobies.

"GIT!"

Can Rynh ride? How much would some kind of rideable beast cost? If we can get a two seater that can also carry supplies then that's a bonus.

If you can't get any useful information about travel groups, just start walking south. Right now, just pick up your bags and start walking south.

"Trying to steal my business, Tchee'ka? You'll have to be punished severely!"

"No, daddy! That tickles! Aiiiiiiieeeeee!~"

I'm not sure what's going on, but if this is her father and he's a merchant, then maybe I can get somethings I need or get to places I need to go.

Well time to think about the economics. We want to get to the dragon mountain and come out on top.

Get Boobies/Tura and this merchant together and see if it is feasible to buy 1-3 pack animals. If we find out what this town produces then we can load our animal(s) and sell/trade it on the way. Farmers might be interested in things like salt, sugar, spices, medicine.

We gotta go check out these dragons, but if we can make money on the way then that's double plus good right?

Offer to teach the little rat girl the ways of the Warrior. Then kidnap her, help the Kobold to counter Karma loss, get Noseface, and flee.

If not, still help the Kobold. Stop being so heartless.

You know, I'm not sure there's a reason to meet and befriend every random person in this town.

Maybe we should go see the dragon.
>>
No. 181529 ID: 6a5a08

There is a reason: Karma. Get high enough Karma, and random people in the street give you stuff. And also we'd have a ton of favors to cash in if we ever needed to raise a militia army to fight a rampant Dark God.

Also, it's the right thing to do to help the Kobold.
>>
No. 181603 ID: 63ab82

Is this karma business even... canon? Any how, we must ask Boobie regarding her father! And where is her mother.

I ask Tura and the ratman who introduces himself as Rek'iit about either riding with a caravan or buying something to ride myself, although buying and stocking a trade wagon seems a little out of my price range at the moment.

"I go back and forth from the south islands all the time. You could get over half way to where you're going by ship, but then you'd have to find your own way from there, but we could give you a free ride just for the off chance we need you to fend off gnollish pirates or something."

"I trade with the desert city of Shaavan, which is near where you want to go, but you would have to cross the desert after we arrived, but it's a long trip and I'd pay for an armed escort."

The easy way sounds tempting, but could get costly if I need to hire a ship just to get somewhere and the overland route is more profitable, but will take longer and might me more dangerous.

Decisions, decisions...

Going as an escort would be useful. We might be able to build up a good reputation, and remember, if we get ambushed you can't run away on the open ocean.

Desert travel. We're a (half) dragon, heat and sand hold no threat to our superior awesomeness!

Oh, wait, Noseface is joining us...

Desert travel still!
>>
No. 181831 ID: 417bb1

Take the slower route for the desert city. It takes us closer to our destination and Jehral will probably be a lot happier about this if he's getting paid. He IS a mercenary.
>>
No. 181832 ID: 3afd1f

Going by ship would also have the danger of seasickness.

So, desert.
>>
No. 181833 ID: 8bdb6a

Take the ship! There might be pirates! You could steal a hat!

And it'll be faster, so even if you're stuck on the island for days or weeks trying to catch a ride the rest of the way, you'll still probably get there faster than walking a zillion miles.

I propose that, from this point on, Jehral be referred to as 'Noseface"

Take the ship. Wind, sun, being cooped up on a vessel with dozens of men for ages, also it's faster and we've spent enough time him.
