I think my brain died a little after watching this...

This apartment must be owned by a female. Based upon my observation only they can watch this without any brain damage.

Look at the painting on the wall. The one on the right looks kinda familiar? Is it one of your kind? And if it is what does this imply.

Search for some aromatic panties to sniff... also check that hallway we saw behind the previous room that looks to be connected to this one after we root through all her stuff.

Okay let's recap -

Shik is still digging... I think. He needs to get his uniform back too.
Ny is still waiting in the ruins.
I need to get those scientific supplies.

And yeah... avoid Croix. Possibly she's having her period, but With that attire it's kind of hard to tell.
>>
No. 64116 ID: e16ca8

that's uncouth of you. Let's go up and make the medication if we have what we need.
>>
No. 64118 ID: 90665d

>>64097
Well, Shik sans pants is nice and controllable. He's not going anywhere unless we help him, so that isn't a priority. Similarly, Ny isn't going anywhere for a day or two, so we needn't do anything about him except keep him in mind. If we have any excess inventory, I suppose we could always pop back and visit that trader, see if he has anything we could use.

What are we carrying at the minute?

( INVENTORY CHECK )

>>64118

I'd like to remind you that a day has 24 cycles. And he said that he would hang around for few cycles before heading back. I think about 2 cycles passed by now.

I think you missed out on some education back in school. Do you still know your ABC?

And I still don't see anything worthwhile to sell. Plus we may need the alcohol for extraction later on.

The perils of home-schooling.
Go make the antibiotics, use them to stabilise the patient. Forget about everything else, for now. Immerse yourself in your work.
>>

Maybe we should go check on him first, with the excuse of we need something out of the mine.
>>

We don't have any way to breathe underwater and we have no reason to visit the others so might as well make the antibiotics.

Well now... there are few chemicals here and some paper.
>>
No. 65407 ID: 15f6d6

Okay, that's acetone, ethanol, and chloroform. I don't know what we need any of them for right now.
>>

We can use the ethanol to extract the stuff.

Propanone, Ethanol(the Et had me confused until I learnt it was shorthand for the ethyl group.) and something I don't recognise. It's not chloroform as that is CHCl3, and it's not methyl or dimethyl chloride. I'll ask my chemistry teacher on monday maybe, (although it'll be a bit late by then.)

The only uses I see for this stuff is using the propanone to clean the glassware of possible contaminants and some ethanol to extract whatever from the plant and some to disinfect your hands and clothes and stuff, otherwise this stuff is only useful as PHAT LOOT, to be traded at a later date.
Also regarding the alchohol you extracted from the plant, which alchohol is it? ie methanol, ethanol, propanol, butanol etc?
>>
No. 65597 ID: 0d1fe9

Just realised those bottles are fuckhuge so we'd have to find some way to syphon the stuff into our spare 3 bottles, one bottle per chemical I guess.
>>
No. 65609 ID: 8e18cd

(Due to the late hour I've managed to make a simple mistake of writing CHCl2 instead of CHCl3 on the bottle. That's chloroform, alright)

Free copy paper? Sweet! This "getting stuck underground thing" was totally worth it!

>>65411

Well seeing they have chloroform it kind of changes everything. Although chloroform will extract a bit less of the antibiotic it will also evaporate quickly, saving me a lot of time.

I will have to use a lot more of it though.

>>65586

Acetone is essential to clean the glass between the procedures. The rest, well I explained it already.

Judging from the smell of the plant juice it's mainly ethanol.

>>65597
>>65450

They're standard chemical bottles. Meaning yeah - they're designed to hold a lot of liquid, be heavy and durable and sit on the shelf all the time. Since my backpack is overloaded, I can easily carry two in my hands

And the samplers are jars rather than bottles. I don't really think they would hold that much of a volume.
>>

Well you're the biochemist Sul, do your biochemist stuff, you need the chloroform and propanone so take those.

>>
No. 65656 ID: 0d1fe9

>>65615
Can't believe I missed that you wanted to choose between chloroform and ethanol, might as well use the ethanol as having more antibiotics would be useful and the extra time won't really matter.
>>
No. 65660 ID: 9cc8fd

If it'll be fast enough to use chloroform, then there's still an underwater trip available, so I think we should plan on using that. But it still depends on getting a way to breathe.
>>
No. 65663 ID: 9e9b47

While we wait lets go see if we can trade any of our goods with Ny or I.K in return for some of theirs, the trading might convince Ny to hang around and we might be able to get clothes for Snik. Find out if theres a market in the town as well though.
While doing that we should ask someone if they know of any caves, areas of interest etc that we havn't been to yet, and we should keep in mind to explore the lakeside and more of the town when we have time.
