Well, do you want to apologize to her? If you want her forgiveness, you should think about what the heart of the issue was on what exactly you did to upset her enough to threaten you like that. Otherwise, your apology might sound hollow if you cannot figure out what you did wrong to upset her in the first place. Was pushing her too far the main reason she was upset with you?

Likewise, do you want to forgive her if she apologizes? She did almost kill you if it weren't for Pure Pear, but we have to remember it clearly was an accident. But is that the main reason why you are angry with her? It's probably best to also think about why you were upset with her so you can communicate your feelings on where you are coming from so she better understands you. And, well, it probably won't be easy as it might require you to show more vulnerable aspects about yourself. But sometimes, that's the strongest thing one has to do.

But If she apologizes, maybe you should think about where she is coming from. While she is a monster queen, remember that she used to be human.

She has to realize that she was in the wrong, so wait until she gives you a sincere apology, and not a fast one.

A battle is about to start. Able can see the bodies of the constructs but is unable to see their legs. Choose how to approach this battle.

Just get Ratislav outta there. Perhaps if they said rats (plural) it'd be an issue. However once Ratislav is gone they should stand down if they only kill rats.

Let’s see, let’s go over some facts, Ratislav will be the only target here because Abdle and Yakbeet are not rats.

Mr. yakbeet can see clearly in the dark, and can see the legs of the spiders

Abdle can only see the bodies of the spiders but not the legs. His flame on his head can probably act as a small lantern.

Ratislav can see in the dark, but his vision is blurry

My initial plan:

Step 1: give Mr. Yakbeet the sword, and place him in front of Ratislav on the ground. He will be the guard slicing off the legs of as many spider constructs as possible. Basically, he will be the trap


Step 2: Abdle meanwhile will ride on Ratislav and both will step back. wait behind at some distance away from Mr. Yakbeet as he slashes as much constructs as he can (don’t worry, they will not attack Mr. Yakbeet if they are only hunting rats) they are moving slow, so Mr. Yakbeet should be able to slice a fair amount of them.

Step 3. Honestly, with that amount of spiders, it’s going to be difficult to get them all. That’s why I need Abdle and Ratislav to step back and wait. Any constructs that pass by Yakbeet, we can wait until a good amount them get close enough for Abdle to use his PUSH power to knock them back in front of Mr. Yakbeet, and Mr. Yakbeet will get another chance to slash at them again

Step 4. If there are any remaining spider constructs that get past Mr. Yakbeet that comes after Ratislav and Abdle, and Abdle has already used up his PUSH ability, that is when Abdle and Ratislav will let the Constructs chase them, and lure them to Mr. Yakbeet to attack. Abdle will need to steer Ratislav as his vision is blurry, but Abdle’s flame can act as a lantern to help them see where they are going. At this point if things go according to plan, there shouldn’t be a lot of spider constructs chasing Abdle and Ratislav to be too overwhelming to lure to Mr. yakbeet

See, get Ratislav out and it'll be fine. Just don't panic

Abdle use Mr. Yakbeet as a shield. That way he can warn you with the upcoming attacks. This things were made to chase things, I doubt that they are programmed to have an opponent who can fight back.

There is no reasoning with this thing, nor is it possible to run from it. The only way to survive this encounter is to defeat this creature. Choose how to start the conflict.

Welp. Outnumbered and they have support tanking. What we do have is speed if ratislav is up. Seems like the legs don't go above. So draft plan is thus. Flank past the big one, slice its leg off. Once done, use that rat dexterity to jump atop the little guys. Jump until behind. We get behind 'em for breathing room while we see how effective we were. Extra points if yakbeet tosses a little guy in its mouth. Got any powers that'd help Abdle?

This is your moment Abdle. grab that sword and jump in its mouth to stab its eye

Solution for better visibility place Mr. Yakbeet on your head but put him upside-down. That way he can use his hands hold on to Abdle for better stability.

do a feint as u aim for the eye, when it moves to bite, dodge to the side and stab your sword diagonally so u aren't in the way of danger. if it blinds it great, if not roll away

I mean yeah. Yakpeet has the sword. What else is there to do?

Hm, well, if Abdle is stuck without a weapon, and Yakbeet can't use the sword...

What if Abdle uses his push ability? I'm not sure if he can use it in any direction, or only in front of him, but I'm thinking if he can use his push ability behind him, he can use it to pin down the construct, or at least PUSH down against the jaw of the construct so that it breaks apart, rendering the chompers useless.

If he can't use the push ability behind him, then he'll have to use it to push forward on the arm he's stuck to, and hopefully, it will pull the arm right out of the construct, freeing him out. And hey, if he can push the arm out of it's hinges, Abdle can use the arm as a scythe weapon since he's nowhere near his sword.

Also, I'm thinking since mr Yakbeet can't really use the sword with his weird arms, Ratislav is going to have to take it from mr yakbeet and use it with his own digits. Maybe after Abdle do whatever, ratislav can attack with the sword?

As for mr Yakbeet... uhhhhhh... cheer them on!

funny thing is, its got a big weak point right under the eye. Throw the sword at it so that it misses and falls on the floor. As it goes for Abdle, yakpeet grabs the sword and stabs up through the hole in its jaw.

Abdle have Yakbeet to thow you into the jaws and then stab the ground through the hole on his jaw. Hopefully this will pin it to the ground if it is stuck in the floor really good.

D. I'm giving praise to everyone. We could not have taken down this construct without the power of teamwork here. I can't imagine what would have happened if we only sent one person in the hole. You were all courageous. And excellent leadership, Abdle.

I wonder how we can bring this destroyed construct back to the castle to bring to our spider blacksmith. I mean, its probably small from a human's perspective, but perhaps we can research it's scrap metal to get something worthwhile out of it.

all that matters is getting the results. abdel got a cool scar out of it and a reward of info, so some congratulations are in order.

bobbie, going to be real with you, abdel will not listen to criticisms right now even if he needs to hear them. sometimes ppl only learn when things truly blow up in their face. that is what it means to grow

Abdle must admit that it was reckless. Keep in mind that Bobbie is just really worried about you!

but we did get results. And well, if we only sent one person to investigate, it would have risked whoever we sent to get killed by that construct. That construct is built to kill pests after all. Going as a team at least helped keep everyone alive in the end.

That being said, our spy rats should be much safer now that the construct is gone, but the fact that the village had someone build them a construct that kills rats is troubling. Maybe we should later ask the village leader about issues with pests and see if we can solve something

Bobbie, Tell Actus that you are the one who needs to keep Abdle's evil morals and reckless behavior in check to make him a better demon, while in turn, Abdle is the one that keeps you from letting your own morals from clouding your judgement when it comes to protecting your kingdom when a difficult decision needs to be made.
