It has been 25 years since the fall of the Kindgom of Magespring. The Hoard King has risen to power in the Vast Lands, where all valuable magical resources enter and do not escape. A Hero's Party has been created to defeat the Hoard King and restore magic to the world....

But that's none of your business. You're a fresh-faced green-eared adventurer trying to make a name for yourself.

Create Mage.

Regardless of lewd rating, there will be cartoon gore/body horror. As applicable to typical adventuring RPG games.

Do not despair. All "unused" votes have been noted for other characters.

This quest will be 18+. Scenarios with NSFW solutions may be presented.

You are Kobold. A mage of the Objectspeaker class. You know the Animus language.

It is not that objects all inherently have life, it is that objects become animated at your word.

While communing with an object, you may learn its PROPERTIES or issue COMMANDS. An object will not automatically obey COMMANDS. As a Speaker, you must convince objects to work with you. Objects that recognize you as their Speaker can be used and communed with at will. When commanding objects, you can use their ABILITIES or ask them to take reasonable ACTIONS.

As you progress, you may advance into a Technopath.

Current limitations unknown.

You are a Quick Learner. From your scrappy nature, you have honed an advantage when picking up skills, spells, and languages.

Practice makes perfect.

Due to magical hijinks as a youth involving a bull and a bottle of rum, you can go between the "male" and "female" form.... Which aren't that different from each other. Outwardly, you could be described as a beautiful kobold or a handsome kobold.

You have developed a generally indifferent bi-gender nature, but you tend to lean male.

Your form is determined by your mood really.

Your name is GRAGGLE. You think. You don't remember if you had a last name. Which is troubling.

When you try to recall more of your past, the visuals feel faded. Or simply blank. Just as waterlogged as you are in this magispring. Though your general knowledge seems to be intact.

That's... Kind of terrifying!

You know you're an adventurer at least. Straight out of mage college.

You haul yourself out of the soothing water as you ponder your present situation. A blanket water envelops you in a comforting embrace.

Besides your head, your body feels great. Energized even.

>Get Crystal

Right! Everything here looks like they did in the textscrolls. There's a faint glow emitting from the rocks, the water, the flora, etc.

Magisprings are the richest sources of magi after all. Everything here should be packed with ultra-deluxe-magi-nutrients. The water itself would be the most valuable to collect, since magi can be carried in its most potent concentration in water, but the crystals would be easier to haul.

You could make a fortune off of one crystal alone!

Now to just.. try to convince one to wiggle out?

Okay! Now that you got that out of your system, you can focus on the task at hand.

>Let's have a chat with the local plants

Sadly not. Plants don't consider themselves objects, so you can't talk to them. You'd need plantspeak or a druid on-hand. It's a weird technicality.

>Fashion a loincloth out of these magigrasses.

You pluck all the magigrasses in the area to fashion a rudimentary loincloth.

It kind of does the job.

(Now you're self conscious about your body).

>Check 'secret' pocket

It's not an area you would like to stash things in. Or the other place. But having something is better than nothing. You take a deep breath before bending forward to check.

Your flexible spine lets you get all the visuals you need...

You find nothing.

>... you probably fell from that waterfall if you woke up down here. Your clothing might be up there.

You look back up towards the source of the stream. Falling from there would make the most sense. But why? Did you slip while on a quest? Why wouldn't your party rescue you?

Either way, the rocks look slick and too dangerous to climb. You might break your neck if you fall again.
