Hello! I'm BACK! I've been in a horrible creative rut, so I'm running this quest to help get back into the swing of things! So! Mutual Ale may contain suggestive content, will contain alcohol, and will not contain explicit NSFW content. Be kind to your fellow suggesters and don't be a dick!

It's a little slow today, isn't it.

Your name is Maya Watanabe, and you are the caretaker and bartender of the Mutual Ale Tavern. You've had the place for a few years now, and you've lived in the Haven Autonomous Zone since you were a teenager. It's a difficult life, living apart from the Principality, but the people of Haven take care of their own, and you've never gone hungry.

Since you've gotten established, the Mutual Ale has become something of a community gathering place, albeit certainly not the only one in the town. Haven, of course, lacks any kind of formal leadership or government, but people will always look to someone to resolve their petty disputes and ward off trouble, and to your chagrin, you've become one of those people. Your goal is to keep your community happy and safe, keep the peace, and avoid trouble.

Speaking of which, here comes trouble, in the form of Emily Swift.

You don't DISLIKE Emily. But she's a bit of an abrasive personality, and she's gotten into two disturbances at your bar in the last month, so seeing her walk through the door already has you bracing for trouble. Yikes. She doesn't look in a good mood, either.

What will you do?

>Play it cool. Be ready to prep her usual and make small talk. Also, what'd she do last time?

>Be nice to her, ask her how her days been. See if you can get her vent and if you can get her to maybe feel better! Ask her how her wife and kids are!

Take her order. If nobody else comes in, invite her to talk about what's upsetting her.

Talk to her about what she wants to drink, give her space until she's ready to talk.

just welcome her, and ask what you can get her.

Stay silent and show her the menu.

Best you can do is smile and be a good host. Who knows, you just might be able to put her in a better mood?

Prep her usual and ask her bluntly what trouble she's gotten in this time. She's abrasive, and you learned she prefers to just jump to the topic, it gets her to leave faster.

What can we do but wait for her to come get a drink? "Bad day, Swift?"
