EASY TO JOIN FOR NEW PLAYERS! I'm migrating my quest from 4chan.

This is a multiplayer RPG where each player controls one character. Random dungeon edition.

Kek, the ancient Egyptian god of chaos, has made of a pact with the meme magicians of 4chan: when members of the imageboard die, they are teleported to an Isekai. In that fantasy world, Kek has formed an Adventurer's Guild for you to have a job in your new life. Your goal is to rise through the ranks -- working for Kek certainly will earn you great rewards!

You are going to play as yourself, the person behind the screen. The question is: how long would you survive in an RPG setting?

For Stats, an “average” rank means the rank of an average person
For skills and other abilities, an “average” rank means an average person skilled with this ability; an average professional. Those with less than average ranks are skilled amateurs. Yes, this means, above average skills are uncommon.

The skills are freeform so you can list anything. Here's an extensive list if you need inspiration: https://gurps.fandom.com/wiki/List_of_Skills

Anchor post: I'll quote this post with the updates.

CREATION RULES
1) Create your character, following the rules in the link above.
2) Reminder: you are playing as yourself, the person behind the screen. The more honest you are statting yourself, the more fun this is going to be.
3) Reminder: for skills, an average rank means the rank of an average professional, not the average person. If you rank yourself as Average, then it means that you're as good as the average professional.

GENERAL RULES
1) Namefriend yourself.
2) Roll 20d100 with each post. The rolls will be used for the GM Emulator.
3) You have to keep track of your own inventory and money.
4) No whining about the QM decisions and rolls.

MULTIPLAYER RULES
1) You can post three actions each turn.
2) You can chat with the other players as much as you want.
3) Don't make more than one action post before the QM responds.

ISEKAI RULES
1) E-Rank Chaos: When there's an appropriate skill, the player's first three rolls are reserved to Skill checks and will determine the result of the player's main actions. With 3 free passes per thread for the QM for the purpose of plot and chaos.
2) Rule of Blood: If too many players join, I will add a penalty to all dangerous rolls until a few players die.

TGCHAN SPECIFIC RULES
1) You can post reaction images and off-topic comments in this thread.

INTRODUCTION

NEW PLAYERS
Post your character sheet and I'll get you started.

OLD PLAYERS
You are an Earthling who was transported into a fantasy world after they died: an Isekai (異世界). You are standing in a forest of the Empire of Tyrea, at the entrance of Labyrinthia, a dungeon near the city of Visea. The mobile base Eldritch Express has parked one mile away, next to the river.

In the last thread, Visea was attacked by succubi and exploded. You have been sent here by the Adventurer's Guild because they suspect that the demons reside inside of the the dungeon. The entrance is a tunnel of mossy carved stone, inside of a 30-feet tall boulder strangely shaped like a vagina.

Note: The dice formula is different than on 4chan. Type "dice 20d100" in the email field to roll.

"Anyone else think this looks like a giant vagina?"

"It's probably your imagination," Sigric answers. "It just looks like a rock, to me. You've been hanging around harem protags too much if you see vaginas everywhere."

「Empath」The dungeon emanates a strong aura of lust and negative energy which Sir Bacon perceives as a slight rustling in the air. He feels his blood rushing through his veins. He is certain that this is a very hostile environment and feels a sense of danger. His mind-ears hear the whispering of demons in the distance below the surface, calling him to join them. As an empath, he has never felt such strong energy, even when inside Mr. Égéphiar's mansion.

"Since dying my second death while fighting the succubus Zaelhya, I've been a proponent of adopting a safe and defensive strategy. If you enter the dungeon, I'll follow you from a safe distance and heal you in case of danger."

The priestess Emiya Miyashita is sitting with her own squad of misfits under the shade of an enormous oak tree. Since the reputation of her boyfriend, Shi Taberu Hito, has been destroyed from a series of misunderstandings, she has decided to beat the dungeon to clear up his reputation.

Sir Bacon has never seen any of those people in the Eldritch Express, yet from their normal, modern clothing, he guesses that at least some of them come directly from Earth, because the natives of the Isekai world all look like they are attending a never-ending cosplay convention.

This is the composition of Miyashita's party:
>Miyashita Emiya: human priestess-thief
>The Last Defender: human fighter
>Milena Ravensun: human paladin
>Alexander Rostov: human crusader
>Alicia Hiroshi: human psionist

"Hey Sig, we've got some backup. Should we introduce ourselves?"

Sigric doesn't seem to enjoy the idea too much. "While you do that, I'll bless this area."

「Empathic Reading」The moods of the people in the priestess' group are varied. Although Emiya's thoughts are calm and composed, Sir Bacon can tell that there's tension in their group. He also feels among them a general good-spirited nature, so he concludes that they don't represent an immediate threat.

He introduces himself and finds a common ground with Milena Ravensun, a blond-haired woman who wears a white tunic with a red cross on it, because they are both Christians. Sharing the same faith is more important than any other experience. There's a certain grace and calmness about her that makes her seem like someone who can be trusted.

"There are demons inside of this diabolical lair, and it's my duty as a servant of Christ to destroy them," Milena says. "I understand that the Lord has transported me to this world to complete this mission."

Alexander Rostov and Alicia Hiroshi are Christians too. Alicia claims to have met Jesus Christ personally when she visited his spaceship. Alexander, her boyfriend, is quiet and doesn't say much.

A valknut symbol made of blue energy appears around Sigric in a 20-ft radius, then disappears into the ground.

>Consecration: for two hours, the entrance area is blessed by Odin, giving an attack penalty to undead and demons.

"So, it seems we share a goal. Nice. Let's go kick some demon ass!"

Milena nods her head.

"I have formed my own party specifically to not have to deal with the people who have betrayed Shi," the priestess Emiya says, haughtily. "We will not fight you, but we aren't going to join forces either."

"Then I will join Mr. Bacon's party," Milena answers. "I don't trust a pagan priestess too much, and this will balance both parties out. Alex and Alicia, will come with me."

"Fine. Then we will run two parties and explore the dungeon in different directions."

Sir Bacon's party:
>Sir Bacon: empath
>Sigric: priest
>Milena Ravensun: paladin
>Alexander Rostov: crusader
>Alicia Hiroshi: psionist

As part of his "Anonymous" cheat, Sir Bacon can use his cellphone to browse 4chan. This is the only known connection with our world. He asks for dungeon crawling advices. One person complains about his DM being a cheater who hates when the players circumvent his traps. Not very useful, because there's no DM in this world. Sir Bacon browses the responses for something that would be more of practical use, and finds the following two posts.

>People tend to save their potions and scrolls for big fights, which never happen. My biggest advise is to use everything when you need. This can double your chances of survival.

>The biggest threat in a dungeon comes from traps. The easiest way to get rid of traps is to summon minions to set them off for you.

Traps will indeed be difficult to deal with because there's no thief in the party. Milena enters the dungeon, followed by Sir Bacon and Alicia, and Sigric and Alex at the back.

They are inside of a shadowy tunnel of natural stone with an uneven floor. The smell of dust and rotting flesh permeates through the walls. Milena lights up a torch and takes a turn left. The tunnel begins to descend to some deeper reaches of the cave. They pass through an archway of stone that leads to a small room.

Sigric leaves pieces of bread on the floor so that the others know which path they took.

A mural of an unknown goddess of storm covers the ceiling, depicting dark clouds and lightning striking the land. The room is surrounded by a thick mesh wall that is filled with stone pillars, and the floor is covered with a dust and dirt. There's a pentagram and strange symbols drawn on the floor with blue paint. There's a solid timber door to the east.

The room is completely empty, except for a metal pipe standing in a corner.

When Milena steps at the center of the pentagram, an electrical discharge leaves the painted goddess' fingertips towards Milena. The paladin jumps on the the side to avoid the lightning, but she is too slow. It hits her, then arcs towards each of the other party members and shocks them. The lightning then strikes Sir Bacon a second time, before fading away. The pain makes him stumble and fall backward to the floor. Milena gives him her hand and picks him up.

"Sorry, I made a mistake. I should have been more careful."

They decide to continue on. Sir Bacon concentrate on emotional signatures of the surrounding area. He perceives dark, cruel thoughts nearby to the east and further to the north. He also he perceives that several creatures are feeling desperate, lost and hungry. There's the extreme hunger that is felt only in zombies and ghouls.

Milena slides the timber door down and the party follows the tunnel to a new room. Its appearance is similar to the previous room and it's lit by torches. Someone has scrawled "This paladin is dead" on the north wall, and a rusted gauntlet lies in the center of the room. Milena frowns when she sees it. The room is connected through an archway to another smaller room, with a mosaic representing human and monstrous faces on the west wall. It seems that the architect of this bizarre dungeon has a fondness for artistic expression.

The first room has an iron door to the south and a wooden door to the north; the smaller room has a wooden door to the south.

Milena tries to use a front kick to break the iron door open.

*Bang*

As soon as her foot touches the metallic object, she's wrapped in black energy and falls to the floor, writhing in pain. She grabs her cross pendant and recites a protective prayer. The door was trapped with a magical spell.

"Let's try another door!"

She walks toward the smaller room and attempts to open the wooden door with a powerful kick. This time, the door gives in. The new tunnel is narrower and leads to anothere door to the north. This is where Sir Bacon perceived the presence of evil thoughts. Milena looks at the party members to make sure that they are ready to fight. She puts her hands on the door handle and opens it abruptly.

Behind the door is a room of refined stonemasonry, with four pillars in the center and a beautiful statue of a robed dwarf holding a hammer. Polished benches have been sculpted directly from the stone. A set of demonic war masks hangs on the east wall, and someone has scrawled "Praise the Demon Queen" on the northern wall, in the same writing as in the previous room. There doesn't seem to be any other door or exit.

Three bald, gray-skinned dwarves are sitting on one of the benches, eating skewers made of a giant insect's body parts. All three of them are wearing chainmails and are equipped with hammers and crossbows.

>Sir Bacon uses 1 healing potion
>Sigric heals everyone

gratify their tyranny; a duergar tyrant has tekekinetic ability; make one head explode

Knowledge (Games): From their dull gray skin that's the same color as the wall, Sir Bacon has no doubt that they are facing a group of duergars.

The dark dwarves jump on their crossbows and shoot at Milena. The paladin deflects one bolt, but the other two pierce her chest. She falls on her knees and screams with pain. Alex steps next to her, to shield the more vulnerable members of the party from further attacks.

"Ah wis eating a juicy skewer 'n' ye'r interrupting oor meal," one of the dwarves say. "Th' Demon Queen wull nae permit this."

"We ur equipped tae deal wi' vermin. Shuid ah enlarge masell?"

"Na need, thay fall quickly tae oor bolts."

"Ugly cult mofos! Should I stab them?" Ayame shouts.

"Ye'r even uglier than me, whit does that say aboot ye?"

The dwarves laugh. Ayame channels the power of the sun to manifest a mini sun in each of her hand. She stretches her arms and make them fly toward two different dwarves. The arms of the dwarf that's on the left catch on fire and he closes his eyes to avoid being blinded by the intense sunlight.

"She's brought th' pumpin' sun in 'ere!"

Meanwhile, Sigric recites two verses from the Völuspá, the sacred Norse poem. The forehead of another dwarf grows bigger and bigger. His eyeballs grow too, and they explode from the pressure. The dwarf's deformed body falls over. They are laughing no more.

>Milena is dead

「Empath」Sir Bacon connects to the emotion of the dwarves and amplifies the shock and awe they feel from getting pulverized. He can feel their emotions in his own thorax and raise them to an untolerable level. In his brain, the emotions translate to a word: "Flee". He feels that the dwarves want run as far away from him as they can.

Sigric lifts his club on his shoulder and charges. Both of the dwarves utter a word in an unknown language and immediately vanish from sight. They are gone!

「Raise Dead」Ayame kneels next to the paladin and lays her palms on her. She attempts to connect to the universal lifeforce to raise her from the dead, but she fails. The paladin's body remains inert. The Raise Dead is a difficult spell to cast.

"What happened? Is the fight over?" Alex asks.

Here is the party composition:
>Sir Bacon: empath
>Sigric: priest
>Milena: paladin
>Alexander: crusader
>Alicia: psionist
>Ayame: druidess

「Nature Queen」Ayame visualizes a samurai armor in her head; at the same time, she visualizes a bamboo backpack. Because she tries to create both items at the same time, the visions mingle together and she creates a strange ball of wood, vine and bamboo. She tries again, clearing her mind and visualizing each item separately. Because of her buffed up memory, she can visualize a perfect ō-yoroi armor of wooden scales. She materializes it and then creates an elegant bamboo backpack.

「Medicine Man」Sigric recites a passage from the Vegtamskviða, another Norse poem, where Odin was resurrecting a völva. His words resonate with power.

Milena opens her eyes. Her warrior reflexes immediately kick in. She stands up and scans the room for enemies. Sir Bacon can sense that she feels deeply troubled.

"What happened?"

No one has time to answer, because a new enemy is already present. An awful, scuttling mass of legs and mandibles scrambles forward out of the tunnel. It's a carpet of swarming spiders that's crawling toward Alicia. She screams and runs toward the room's center.

The dangers of this donjon are plenty.

The crawling carpet of spiders climbs on the wall and forms a circle around the party. They move with an impressive fluidity. The spiders seem to be attracted by the smell of blood and move toward the dead body. The chittering noise they make is ennervating.

"We have to get out of here!" Alicia yells.

Ayame concentrates on her inner wisdom to communicate with the spiders. She speaks with the voice of Nature and commands them to stop. The spiders immediately stop moving.

"You now serve under the Nature Queen!"

Sir Bacon grabs the crossbow and tries it out. He pulls the trigger and shoots a bolt into the wall. Using this new weapon is actually easy. He only has to pull the trigger and then pull back the string to reload.

Insects do not feel emotions, but the swarm as a whole has behaviours that are similar to emotions. The swarm appears nervous; at the slightest sign of danger, it will jump away. It's not just the party that makes them nervous, but also the fear of a more powerful predator they were fleeing from.

The Nature Queen gives a speech to the spider, made of lies and truth mixed together. The speech contains the following five facts, with an evaluation of truthfulness between parentheses.

>She's the Nature Queen (an exaggeration)
>She's Master of Death and Rebirth (true)
>She has a kingdom (false)
>She came here to save the world from the Satan Pyramid (false)
>She will protect them in exchange for servitude (true)

The spiders seem unresponsive. She knows that she can communicate with Koko, her pet cat, but it seems that her druidic powers don't allow her to communicate on a human level with non-sentient animals. Sir Bacon thinks that they won't stay with her for very long.

Ayame searches the room for anything valuable. The duergar was carrying a few copper coins and a full warrior equipment of good quality. In a small wooden chest, she finds more money.

Loot
>10 gold, 6 silver coins
>light crossbow (19 bolts), warhammer, chain mail, heavy steel shield

She asks the party if they want anything.

>Sigric wants the shield
>Alicia wants the crossbow
>Alex wants the warhammer (he would have wanted the chain mail too, but it doesn't fit)

Milena recommends that the money be destroyed because money is the source of all kinds of evil (1 Timothy 6:10).

Ayame cuts herself to test the crusader power of Alex. Alex only acquired his crusader class shortly before being isekai'd, and he hasn't been able to figure out how it works. All he knows is that he has received from Jesus Christ in a dream a sword of light blue crystal with snake patterns and a winged handle, and that it's probably a symbol of his powers. He's unable to heal the cut, so his powers still remain unknown.

「Nature Queen」Now, Ayame will display her true powers as the Nature Queen. From simply visualizing it and setting her intention to make the visualization true, she materializes a wooden box where the spiders will fit, so that she can transport them easily; a sort of primitive Pokéball for spiders.

「Buff Stat」Then, she generously increases the willpower of the spiders. It seems impossible, however, to improve their IQ. The structure of their brain is too different for them to have anything that could be considered intelligence.

From casting so many spells, Ayame is beginning to feel tired.

>Make Koko my familiar
This is a witch spell and outside the scope of the druidic powers.

>Alex seems a bit confused on the mechanics of his class. "Have you tried smiting anything recently?" Sir Bacon asks Alex.

"I haven't... This was my first fight and I focused on protecting Alicia. I will try smiting the next dwarf that we encounter. Thanks for the tip."

Ayame suggests that he can make things explode or command monsters. Alex tries to to make the door explode or command the spiders, but nothing works. The spiders only listen to Ayame and they walk into the box when she orders them.

"That's OK, Alex. We will figure out how you can use your powers." Alicia says. "By the way, if anyone has electronic devices that they need charged, you can give them to me. My power is control over technology. I have received my powers from Jesus Christ too, that is why I know it will work for Alex too."

The Nature Queen uses what remains of her magoi reserves to summon a wooden bottle beautifully carved with symbols of nature and the sun. She's feeling even more tired, as if her lifeforce had been drained by an astral parasite. She tries to summon water to fill her bottle, but she's unable to. She has returned to the state of a pleb with no magic skills.

Sir Bacon tries to think of ways to re-energize Ayame. Since Ayame is a druid, connecting her to the forces of Nature should be helpful. He tries to transfer some of his own energy to her, while thinking about the quiet, pleasant energy of the forest. His spell comes close to completion, but he feels that Ayame is not receptive enough and it fails. The magoi he was emanating returns to his own body.

After speaking a bit with Alicia, he remembers that he has access to 4chan, the source of all true knowledge in the Anglosphere. He makes a thread about evil dorfs on /tg/ and waits for the answers. Very few DM's actually frequent /tg/, but he gets one good answer.

"Evil dorfs are basically the miners and blacksmiths of the dungeon. They mine for raw material and craft items for the other monsters. Duergars always build traps with a visual trigger, so that they can bypass them with their invisibility."

Text generated with "Text Synth", a GPT-2 AI, to generate the answer. https://bellard.org/textsynth

(There's no table in this room.) Ayame is lying down on the floor. She looks like she doesn't want to move or do anything. Alex invokes the name of Jesus Christ and blesses her. Immediately, she feels filled with joy and courage.

"Milena, you should try too."

"I will ask the Lord for a vision."

Milena gets on her knees and joins her hand. She's praying Jesus Christ to show her the location of danger.

"I've had a vision. The iron door to the south, the one I tried to bash open earlier, is cursed with very dark energies. There are demons behind it, who are aware of our intrusion into their lair. "Do you know any other ways to hurt a demon, beside holy spells, holy water and silver, Milena-chan?"

"They are also vulnerable to salt and cold iron. But more than anything, they are vulnerable to anything that symbolizes the Lord. The reason is that they know the Lord is much more powerful than they are. They wish they could repent, but it's too late for them."

A new hidden talent discovered by Ayame is that she's pretty good at detecting traps, thanks to her magically-enhanced intuition. She closes her eyes and tries to find anything in the room, but there's nothing, other than the dark energy trap revealed by Jesus Christ.

Knowledge (Occult): Historically, Baphomet was brought to Europe by corrupted templars. His famous appearance as a goat comes from an image drawn by the occultist Eliphas Lévi, which looks similar to The Devil of the tarot. Hence, Baphomet might just be one of the many aliases of the Devil. In modern times, Baphomet is known to be worshipped by the corrupted elite. An example is Baroness Philippine de Rothschild, who would always wear a golden Baphomet pendant around her neck. In D&D, Baphomet is said to live in an endless, hellish maze.

Ayame tries to create water, but her mana reserves are too dry, and there's not enough even to summon one drop.

「Emotional Radar」Sir Bacon feels absolutely no sign of sentience to the north and the north-west. The area is emotionally empty, other than the lingering aura of lust that he's been perceived since entering the dungeon.

In her meditation, Ayame hears a soothing voice that introduces itself as Gaia. The voice is clearer than what can normally be heard.

"My child, you can regenerate like the nymphs of the forest. For this, you must transcend the limitations and constraints of the world. Magoi comes from the environment around you, more specifically, it comes from people. Magoi then flows through everything, which you can absord while resting. But the fastest way to obtain magoi is to take it from the other humans around you. Put your hand on their arms, and focus on absorbing their magoi."
