I wake, bleary from the night of drinking. Alcohol. A stupid vice, but the most affordable.
I reach for my CAD, waving my hand about where it would usually be, but regret and pain fills my skull as I can barely remember the night before.
A moan escapes my lips as I try retreat a cold foot into my blanket. Bottles clank as some knocks over.
Pain fills my head from the sharp noises, but I can barely open my eyes to see the digital readout of the time on the wall clock.

- Freak out
- Investigate room

I'm certainly awake now, unfortunately. I look about the room, and it's certainly feminine. A quick check into the drawers confirms this theory as a drawer filled with panties and bras slides out. I push it back in and pull out a few more, trying to find some kind of identity to the owner.
Some socks and stockings and a few more delicates, before I hit jackpot at the sight of a purse.

Rummaging though it exposes me the following:
- A few Credits cards (Currency in card form)
- Makeup
- Feminine products
- A few cards to the name of "Zolis Nathandem"

Well, that explains a few things, this is my lifelong neighbor slash (unrelated) big sister.
Fuck.
I'm trying to keep calm, but the thought of bedding Zolis is genuinely freaking me out.
I mean, it's not like I didn't have thoughts about it before, but still, I can't remember anything!
And I'm still naked!
Damned this erection!

- Try to calm down
- Freak out more
- Take items (unadvised)
- Exit room

Calm down. Maybe you were hauled in here for a reason, like you lost your keys or wasn’t cognizant enough to say the pass phrase while dead drunk on your ass. Besides if you had love there would be evidence. Sticky sticky evidence.

You probably owe your neighbor your thanks, so don’t make this more awkward than it has to be. Get dressed.

Calm down. You could've just been blackout drunk and she put you in bed. Naked, for some reason. I'm sure there's an explanation.

Can you find your clothes?
>>
No. 964215 ID: b34040

Your clothes are the most important thing for you to find right now. Assuming you aren't locked in here (and there's really no reason you should be locked in your neighbour's apartment), that's the only thing stopping you from leaving. Presumably you can get answers outside of the room once you're dressed.

- Try to calm down

Zol is a human female, 26 years. She works at the local weapons shop, and is one of the better shots around.
She was there to take care of me when my parents were out working.
She's also my next door neighbor, so at least that's a short walk.

I check myself out, and other than feeling the soreness of a hangover, I don't think there's anything wrong. But I don't know what to look for.
Right. Clothes. Sadly there's only her clothes about, and I'm not about to go about wearing her clothes. I'd rather not relive that memory.
I sigh, picking up one of the least transparent bottles and holding it in front of me as I leave her room.

The door slides open into a corridor attached to the living room. The toilet is across the bedroom, with sounds of the shower running from inside. I can her her muffled singing inside. The corridor is blocked from the living room with a privacy screen, blocking any vision to the rest of her apartment.

- Return to Bedroom
- Got to Living room
- Go to Shower (unadvised)

Get a drink of water and go back to bed. Let her have the initiative in this situation.
>>

>>964219
Well if your clothes weren't scattered about the bedroom then you probably didn't have sex. Laundry room isn't easily accessible... no clothes in the corridor I presume.
Go back to the bedroom, get back under the sheets and wait for her to get out of the shower. Then you can ask what happened.
>>

Return to bedroom. Wrap yourself in a blanket then head out to the kitchen to get yourself some water. Knock on the shower door as you pass just to show that you're awake.

Return to bedroom, take sheet and blanket from bed, tie sheet around your waist to cover yourself, wrap self in blanket, then walk into living room.

Bathroom is inadvisable? Can't you knock? I assume she knows you're here. Might as well check living room first then, I guess, and arm yourself with what knowledge you can gather yourself, but then you can ask Zol to fill in any gaps. You can shout through the door if necessary.

- Return to Bedroom

I wander back to the bedroom, and replace the bottle with the blanket. It’s much more comfortable than mine.
Fashioning a sarong out of the blanket, I head back to the corridor.
I walk past the living room, familiar from the times I’ve been here, yet so different from my memories. It’s easy to remember the way to the kitchen as I hoist the trail of the blanket up and walk across to grab a cup and fill it with tap water to dunk down.

It’s refreshing as I down another cup, and set it on the counter.
I eye the living room, a similar setup to mine with the prefabricated inset television and faux window, but she had certainly made this apartment hers after she inherited it from her parents.
It’s 7:24 in the morning, according to the wall clock.
My head throbs in nostalgia, but I still don’t spot my clothes.
I take another drink and and head back to the corridor and knock on the bathroom door.
The showering stops and a pause before a voice from inside calls out.
“Avan?”

"Other than a hangover, I'm fine..."
I pause to gather myself and continue, "Say... What happened yesterday? And where are my clothes?"
"You don't remember?" she asks.
"No."
"You made a mess of yourself, so they're in the wash."
I wait awkwardly, hearing the ruffle of clothes. I try not to think about that and concentrate on my memories.
All I remember from yesterday was returning home after a year.
I met with some friends and began drinking... and the rest is a blur.
"Have you seen my CAD?"
"It's on the charging dock."
Always the last place you look.

"Uh... Did I do anything yesterday?" I ask pensively.
All I can hear is a bit of ruffling before the door opens.
Zolis pauses at the door, dressed in a black sports bra and matching form fitting shorts. As fit as I remember.
I step back, clutching hard at the blanket around my waist, hoping to hide my obvious erection.
"Well," she starts, numbering with her fingers "First, you came to my work, drunk. Second, you drunkenly sang something. Couldn't understand a bit of it with all the yelling and slurring. Third, you got down on a knee and I think you tried to confess to me." she smirks, "Then you pissed yourself and passed out. In that order."
All I can do is bury my face in my hands, unable to look at her.
"I had to drag you back, and clean you up." She looks down at my waist, "It's not like I haven't done that before." She quips before walking off to the living room.

I slink back into the bedroom, and grab my CAD from a shelf holding her charging docks.
I scroll though my logs, and sure enough, I see a trail of receipts from the local bar.
I don't remember all these drinks, just the first few.
I don't remember buying a ring either.
Wait.
Fuck.

Search your clothes for the ring. If it's not there, ask Zolis if she knows anything about it.

Something must have got you in an excellent mood. Or at least some kind of mood. Try to remember what that was.

I scroll though the rest of my logs, and other than the ring, it's been normal so far.
It costs about a [2000 Credits], about a third of what I own. I read the fine print of the digital receipt, and a big fat "No Refunds" taunts me.
I shuffle out back to the living room and plop myself down on one of the couches.
"So.. uh..." I start, "Did I really try to propose to you?"
"As drunkenly as you could. Despite how much my boss was goading me into accepting, I can't."
I slightly deflate, "Well, uh. I guess that's a good thing, I can't remember what even happened yesterday." I lean back to ease out the rest of my hangover.
"Well, you did say you got your license."

I immediately sat up, and switch to my mail.

Dear [Name], of [Residence].
We would like to thank you for taking our course and to congratulate you on your graduation on [Course].
Attached to this letter is your captains license, a [Corvette] class core voucher, and a copy of your graduation certificate.
We at [Facility] hope your stay had been fulfilling and pleasant.
We would hope to see your success in your future endeavors.
Best regards, [Facility staff]

I... I mean, the facility was kind of a shitshow but I didn't expect this. Thankfully the certificate and license is properly filled out.
I make a copy and fill in the missing details, "So what happened to the ring?"
"I put it with your stuff at the door basket. It's a terrible looking ring, get a better one next time."
I look over towards the front door, and the basket is located in an alcove next to it. Along with a familiar looking worn out bag. I should have a change of clothes locked in there.
