There are many kinds of kobolds. They're a very widespread and adaptable species. There are dog-kobolds, dragon-kobolds, hybrid-kobolds, half-kobolds- the list goes on. There are even savage kobolds that are more animal than person, which is where all kobolds get their bad reputation from. They're quite the amazing race, aren't they?

Boldi would most likely be the best choice for this, wouldn't he?

>Just check in with them and find someone else
I suppose this choice would be the wisest, though. Hmm. How about I speak with Boldi and get his opinion on the matter? That seems like a good idea, right? Yes. This'll work.
"Boldi? If could have a word with you, please?"
Boldi turns quickly and surely, Not an ounce of hesitation on his face. It's as though he was waiting for me to address him.
"Yes, sir?"
Scurba glances back at us for a moment. Her eyes land on Mililie, who's disembarked from her perch upon my head and is now standing next to me. Scurba gives a small smile and wave to Mililie while mouthing "Hi!" and Mililie returns the wave with a smile of her own. She looks at me for less than a second before quickly turning back to her task. Hmmm. I turn my attention back to Boldi.
"Yes, Boldi, I have a proposition for you."
Boldi only tilts his head ever so slightly in an inquisitive manner. His expression never changes.
"Sir?"
"You see, Mililie here," I gesture to the little kobold beside me, who squeaks a tiny 'Henlo!' at Boldi, "was to be one of the greeters for the guests. However, she has a bit of an speech impediment that she's still working to overcome."
Boldi looks at Mililie, his face unmoving. Mililie gives him a little buck-toothed smile. He turns back to me. I continue speaking.
"We, Mililie and I, are searching for someone who wouldn't mind switching places with her. I am considering you for the job but I wanted to get your thoughts on the matter beforehand. What do you think?"
Boldi takes another moment to look at Mililie. She has switched her attention from Boldi to her tail. She continues fiddling and playing with her tail as Boldi observes her. Boldi turns his attention back to me.
"I think that is a bad idea."
I am unsurprised at the bluntness of his response but a little more surprised at the response itself.
"And why is that?"
He takes but a second to respond.
"Mililie's young and easily distracted. She will only impede the rest of the cleaners. She will make things harder." He lists each reason quickly and without hesitation.
"Well, that's not very nice. If you're worried she'll break something I'm sure she'll have a hard time of it. These pedastals and urns are so large, I doubt she'll be able to break anything."
"She will find a way."
"Now Boldi,-"
