I'm meeting up with someone I used to know in school, later. He has some stuff my mom left me. But that's not for awhile. I should probably unpack what I have right now.

That table overlaps the space where the oven was. A thief wouldn't really have had reason to do that. That suggests the stove was removed while someone was still living here.

>what do
Take stock. What's in the cabinets and the fridge, and is the fridge running? Is there anything gross we need to get rid of in a hurry?

Do you have electricity? Water? Heat? Utilities bills might have lapsed since your mother passed. You might need to make some calls if anything has been turned off.

Nothing to note in the cabinets. The lower ones have some pots and stuff.

Well, I'm not surprised about there being no food. I still have some snacks in my bag from the trip, but I'll need to go food shopping tomorrow.
I'm not meeting with Zack until later today. I guess I could either take a look around the house or leave out early, maybe.

Check to see if your old stash of porn is still hidden under the matress of your bed.

If it's not there, then your mother found it before she passed away. Which means that you should be embarrassed that your mother found your porn stash.

>MEG
Well. When I started high school I lost most of the friend I did have, but eventually I made friends with Meg. She was on the track team and she wanted to be some kind of scientist. The kind that studied bugs, I think? She was really the only person I hung out with after middle school.

I liked to think we were good friends, but as we got older we drifted apart. She was a lot smarter then me and I don't really think her friends liked me that much. I don't really know what it was, but by graduation she seemed kind of sick of me.
I didn't talk to anyone about moving away after graduation. That included her, I guess.
