First off all, the only reason I know about who you were and how you know Derek is this obviously takes place in the past, so currently Ana is talking with Logan right now at that shop. God time shenanigans are fucking weird. But more importantly we know Logan doesn’t kill him, he threatens him and holds him over a ledge after kidnapping Root, but Root was laughing, remembering a memory of the time you saved him from his sisters torment, right before he was dropped. So I know he doesn’t die here.

But more importantly, we also know he isn’t above using other people to pretend they are him and he is someone else. For all we know one of those guards could be the real Root and this is another body double. I mean he just let slip that this is what will happen later if he is dead. Derek I have a feeling you are being tested. If he lives you live, if he dies well... I think we can put the facts together.

Okay look, the math and facts just don’t add up here. I know him. He was a friend of mine back in my time. It’s true he is a narcissist, I didn’t know he taught Root though. I suppose it makes sense however, it does explain a few things. First of all I know he is trustworthy. He subscribes to the idea of a gentleman, he never says anything that he doesn’t believe he can do. But in time something happens that weaken his bond with the cult. Dante will either leave and kill a bunch of people or stay and... I don’t really know. I don’t even really know why he left, when I asked him he never told me. But I know tensions between him and Root are probably still rising or are going to start rising. He especially didn’t care for Lorence, one time he hissed when someone mentioned his name. I think he was the trigger for it all. It’s funny I’ve never seen him so talkative before, it’s good to see him happy.
