When our most holy saint, Arz, fell into her slumber, we were soon to find that her revered gift, true sight, came with a price.

We found that the awareness and power it granted corrupted our minds and bodies, and that the land itself would follow, in turn.

The west and east kingdoms have both fallen, the calamities that struck them happening before any of us can even remember.

The lands have become overrun with strange forms of life, monsters and miscreants.

We must face the facts: The realm of Alm is no longer the golden grove for humanity that it once was.

The Invoker, a resident of the southern sea based city of Dioness, and member of the southern Circle, has come to the Temple of sleepers to perform the yearly purification ritual on the ruins.

The Invoker is capable of invocation, harnessing the raw elements to their will, and purification.

>Check your map.
I am currently at the entrance to the temple.
I need to get to the core, the building marked on the north-west part of the map, to perform the purification.

This map is only of the south wing, and it's old, so I'm sure how much of it is still accurate.
I'll need to update it as I go along.

>Venture forth.
I have three options, the west door will lead to the core chamber, the east to a sermon room, and the north to a balcony.

Which way should I go first?
No. 782415 ID: b15da4

North. Try not to slip.
No. 782417 ID: d4c8ee

The dilapidated balcony doesn't have anything on it, other then a lot of moss and leaves.

I can see the lake and forest from here.
I'm pretty sure this wing used to be larger, but most of it must have rotted off into the lake... The air out here is clean, but I keep picking a bleach smell. It must be from the water.

The large dome building should be where the core is, according to the map.
No. 782418 ID: b15da4

Can you update your map with the view here?

Head east to check that off next.
No. 782420 ID: 3abd97

Right, balcony is clear. Let's check the sermon room, next.

You want to make sure nothing is here that can surprise you from behind while you're in the middle of the purification ritual.
No. 782494 ID: 398fe1

Head back in and to the east.
No. 782578 ID: 72a406

Check the east door, figure out what those rooms are so you can move on to the complex.

This doesn't seem like the kind of place to dilly-dally, best head straight for the stone.

Nice to see this quest back up, hope your more comfortable going forward this time.

The hit to the slime's eye has "killed" it, leaving it's center core behind.

Better not to touch that stuff, let's get on with this job and be done with it. Go into the next room.

I don't actually know what purpoooo-oh that's an imp.
No. 790370 ID: d79f26

are imps thinkin critters? cause it has a necklace. tell it to surrender or you will kill it.
No. 790376 ID: 398fe1

I hope you're joking.

Tell it that it's gotta leave. The building's being reclaimed. Be prepared for a fight regardless, it might not leave quietly.
No. 790379 ID: 70983e

What's wrong with imps?

...Think it'll trade a slightly used eyeball for that necklace?
No. 790393 ID: 3abd97

Because you keep sticking things in your mouth like a baby. You're supposed to know better than that!

>that's an imp.
Are imps dangerous / hostile? Worse than the slime?
No. 790430 ID: ca661e

Is that a key around it's neck?
No. 791741 ID: d4c8ee

So unfortunately, I'm dealing with some personal issues and long story short I'm probably not going to be working on this story anymore.

I want to thank everyone that supported this quest and offered suggestions, I've been lost artistically for years and working on these stories has finally given me a kind of direction to go in.

I'll still be around the community, but if I do do another quest it'll probably be a single thread kind of story.
