You are a robot.
It is very dark.
You cannot recall much of anything. Trying to remember why your here or what you should be doing makes your head hurt...
Can you at least remember your name?

Hmmmm. Nope!

Your name is A.M. You must express your hate for mankind.

Yeah... No. You can't remember. Trying to do so hurts to much...
>>746687
But you may as well at least pick some kind of temporary name. A.M should work... Wait, isn't that a measurement of time? Well whatever. It sounds nice.

But... 'hate for mankind'?

You have a lot of info on humans stored in your mind. Seems that a lot of basic knowledge is still readily acceptable to you.

Humans don't seem THAT bad. They invented robots for one thing! You wonder if the reason you can't recall things like your name, is because you don't have one yet?

You wonder if your creator is nearby. Hard to tell in this darkness...

What will you do now?

Activate THERMAL VISION! Or failing that just scoot forward aimlessly.

Sadly, you do not have THERMAL VISION. Perhaps you can find a way to upgrade yourself later?

>>746697

Actually, upon further inspection, you think you can make something out... A door?

You exit the room. You are now outside. It's a nice day out. You don't know where you are.

Search the premises all around for your creator! Or any other intelligent being to interact with. Go forth, A.M!

You look around outside for a few minutes. Nothing.
You head back in the shed.
Oh. Well. This is odd.

Take the bloodied knife A.M. for self defense purposes. Also, see if that skull is the real deal or not.

You take the bloody knife.

The skull seems to be real.

Wonder if you run on a finite power-supply and what would happen if you ran out of energy. Have an existential crisis about your mortality, then check all that tech in the corner for an upgrade.

...

You have no idea how much power you have left...

What's death feel like? Can robots die? Will you die if you run out of power, or is it like sleeping?

What's sleeping feel like?

You decide to look through the scrap for something to upgrade yourself with. Something to let you know how much power you have left...

It's kind of a lot of stuff. Some of it's really old and rusty, while other pieces look brand new!

You think you could do a lot with this. You could make a lot of upgrades.
If you could figure out how to open your body.

You think the back of your head unscrews, and most of your hardware is inside it, but without a mirror or someone to help you, you aren't sure you could safely operate on yourself.

The books are mostly about robotics. One in particular catches your... Eye? Optic? Sensor? Whatever.

You open it up, it seems to be pure fantasy. Describing all sorts of odd things. You don't really know how useful this will be...

It's getting late. The power is still out. The door is open, so you can see now, but once the sun sets you wont be able to see until morning. You need to make a choice.

1: Go out looking for your creator. He must be close, he must be! You need to find him. You don't know how much power you have left, and no idea how to recharge yourself. You could die without his help.

2: Stay here for now. Surly your creator will be back soon? And you want to read more of this. It must be important, or else it wouldn't be here, right?

3: Run. This place is creepy. You don't know if you really want to meet your creator anyway. I mean, theirs a pentagram filled with blood on the floor. And human skull just... Laying about.

4: Something else? (Write-in)

I say 2. It might be dangerous out there at night.

4. Stay outside the building for the night, but don't head out far.

Well there's a fence around the building which should keep any native wild predators out. Plus, you have a weapon. How much damage would, say, a rabid wolf do to you anyway? Are you sturdily built or more delicate? In fact, do a systems check. Besides walking around, what are your functions?

I say stay outside the building but inside the fence. Take the book with you to read in case you get bored. You can scout around outside the fence if you have time to get back before nightfall. Maybe you can find a breaker? Yeah the demon-summoning circle may be totally bogus fantasy, but best to stay on the safe side and you should be able to see outside by the stars and moon at least.

If it starts raining you can always head inside to keep from rusting or ruining your circuitry... if you aren't coated in anything water resistant anyway.
