(You know after trying to come up with grand story lines and always stalling to a sputtering halt either in art direction or writing. I’m doing something simple and aimless to hopefully build experience so I can know how to actually tackle quests like the ones I left unfinished. So...)

As long as I can remember, I’ve failed at my jobs.

I don’t know how or why.

But the end result is that I don’t have the funds to live.

Every opportunity has dried up and that leaves me with my last resort.

I must…

Get Money, straight from the source.

But what would be the best place to hit?

The corporation? The bank or the mint?

The mint!

Corporation. Bank doesn't actually keep that much on hand to justify it (in addition to being traceable) and the Mint has that same latter problem.
CORP cash, though, is fair game. Since corp cash is probably shady to begin with and they can't fight it through legal means.

Take that good ol slimy Corp money. Definitely got security though. What are your skills? Got any weapons? A mask?

So the corporation’s the one to be hit. Somehow it feels fitting…

It is one specializing in pharmaceuticals though certain unsavory rumors surrounded its operations.

Taking stock of yourself and the tools you’ll have for this job. You feel this would be an accurate representation.

You’ve gone through so many jobs and failed out of them that you have MANY SPECIALIZATIONS. You could probably do a passable job at anything.

However you do seem to HAVE A HEAD FOR NUMBERS and a SHARP MIND.

However you SEEM A LITTLE OFF, something that got you booted off many of your jobs.

As for your TOOLS. You have a sizable number but the ones of most note would be

A boxy but SERVICEABLE LAPTOP

COMBAT KNIVES CAREFULLY CARED FOR

CONSTRUCTION TOOLBOX

Some 15 pounds of EXPLOSIVES

CLOTHES OF VARIOUS STYLES

SMILEY FACE MASK, it gives you a weird feeling.

EASILY OBTAINED INFORMATION OF TARGET CORPORATION

Possibly anything costing 20 DOLLARS OR LESS

In any case, I have set up a small base, abandoned property a few blocks from the corporation's main building. What preparations should I proceed with?

Look into some online programming courses to refine your hacking ability, then start looking for a member of accounting to kidnap and extort for ceo bank account numbers.

In consideration of my mediocre skills in programming, I joined up some online tutorials in programming. Now I KNOW MORE THAN THE AVERAGE PERSON when it comes to computers, and computer security.

As for seeking a member of accounting, I’ve come up with profiling on three possible targets from three different pay levels in the corporation. One AVERAGE JOE working as a rank and file clerk. Then there’s MID SID who’s just the go between for the common employee and the higher ups. And TOP BOB who’s high up on the decision making food chain. Each lives in a different part of town nearby with differing amounts of security and feasible intelligence. I’d prefer not to leave a body, which is likely because any face to face interrogation would probably have me doing so to make sure not leave loose ends around.

Perhaps it would be better to invade their homes? Or their offices instead and whose? Or should I look into another angle of approach?
