I go to the orange stand. I am greeted by a rather large demonic gentlemen.

"Interesting. I don't see many children in Derelict Square. I am Adabathon. What you need, I have."

Disgusting. He has the air of a drug dealer. Do I bother to continue interaction. I could sell some potent magic that I can use to manipulate others. Hmm.

"Do you have anything that makes people listen to me?"

I want to rip his horns of and don them as symbol of my dominance over this pathetic worm.

Ask for permanent stat increase items. Otherwise, leave and check the other stores.

Wouldn't having an extra pair of horns just make you look silly?

See if you can get the thing. Then even with a completely innocent act, people will still listen.

Don't buy anything from him, he seems untrustworthy, his wares are overpriced, and none of that stuff seems particularly useful. Remember; if it looks like junk then it probably is, and if it looks too good to be true then it probably is too.

His bulls-eye potion is only $5000 lens...

If there are no other bargains for bulls-eye potions, begin a bidding war between the two sellers. Start by telling the seller on the right that if he doesn't lower the price of his bulls-eye potion, then you will purchase items from Adabathon and ignore him, instead of purchasing his Satan's Essence potion. Then tell Adabathon that you think his eagle-eye potion is watered-down, weakening the effect.

Play these two to bring the prices in the $3000-4000 lens range each. If you bid too much, they'll get what you're doing and scam you as a team, so don't sucker too much out of them.

After wracking my brain for what seems like months, I bid the disturbing shopkeep adieu and move back to the square.

Check the "BRB" stall, and the medical stall.

Begin the bidding war that I was talking about once you know what you want to buy. Like I said, don't haggle for too much or they'll gang up on you in retaliation and raise the prices of everything while you're around.

What is an Angel doing down here? Let alone a full-blooded cherub?! I don't like it... but I am intrigued. The nurse seems to be selling potent healing spells for cheap. Her wares seem nearly three-quarters lower than that of the competitor. I'm afraid to find out if she's a fraud.

investigate nurse

Talk to the nurse, and then talk to the angel. Get a feel for each of their wares

and be careful, the angel could be selling crap. Try to purchase items from the one with the legal guarantees and stuff.

Also, bidding war.

There is no bidding war, the angel and the nurse either have different wares, seek different clients, have different reasons for selling, or have different suppliers. Quick history check: Have folks ever successfully faked being angels of the host here before, and would actual angels in good standing try to do something sneaky like opening a shop cut-rate as a front for recruitment, investigation or sabotage?

It is so rare, only made once every 52 years by the most skilled of Underworld mages, in a very, very limited supply, and coveted by those who lack the funds to access it. Powerful enough to make any spell work as you want it to, even if the ingredients are fake, weak or missing. For a box full of whispers, this will be the easiest Pure Crystal I'll ever get.

Well then, let's go and see what can we do to get this box... I guess you have a lead, right?
