624098 No. 624098 ID: 86c061

This is the first quest thread I have done, so go easy on me. There's only 2 general rules.

1. I choose the post with the last # in their No. ID for the canon post. If 2 people have the same last # in their No. ID, then I use both.
2. NSFW is allowed I guess. Futa is as far as I'll go in terms of /d/-related stuff, though.

There are two ways to move the story along.
>If a passage ends with "What do you do?" or something along those lines, post a suggestion with what to do.
>Other times, passages will end with CHANCE TIME: and then a certain criteria. Anons must then roll a 1d10 die. The roll must fall within this criteria in order to fulfill the special event.
For example, CHANCE TIME: Roll an 8 to dodge the arrow. If someone rolls an 8, we dodge the arrow. If nobody does within (around) 30 minutes, the event doesn't happen and we get hit.

Also, this might be updated quite infrequently. I will say when I'm going on an extended break.

So without further adieu, let's begin!

The Party Leader stirs on the cold dungeon floor. She does not remember much about the events leading up to her being knocked out on the floor. She has a knapsack next to her. She is situated on the floor of a stone hallway lit with torches.

What do you do?

Alright sorry.

You get up and brush yourself off, and grab the knapsack lying next to you. You turn it upside down to unload its contents. An unlit torch and a strange sword with a skull pommel clatter to the ground.
You receive a torch.
You receive a bone sword.

What do you do next?

You successfully light the torch. Your portion of the hallway is illuminated. You look at the wall and see an arrow pointing towards your left, signifying that the Dungeons are that way. You could also go to your right and avoid whatever is in the dungeons.

You turn to face the wall, where you notice there are several discolored bricks. You decide something is up. One of them must be a switch! But wait, one of them could also be a trap!

You brace yourself with whatever outcome.

A succubus? Obviously she wants to act friendly, then betray you or seduce/kill you.

The only thing you can do is pretend to let it happen, then gouge her eyes out when she goes to kiss you and book it. (Trust me im a professional.)

(Also i messed this up in the OP, I choose the post with the HIGHEST last # in their No. ID.)

You notice she isn't speaking at all. Weird. You decide to press forward since this awkward staredown isn't leading anywhere. You need to find your companions!

As you pass her, she turns to stare at you. Unsettling. Suddenly, her body contorts and deforms, turning into a jet black liquid, which you can only see from the reflection of your torch. The newly-formed mass of slime has a single eyeball that stares at you, and, before you can react, it lashes out at you!

CHANCE TIME: Roll a 1d10 die. If you roll a # between 4-7, you successfully dodge the shapeshifter's attack.

CHANCE TIME: FAILED

The shapeshifter slams into you, knocking the wind out of you and throwing you to the ground. The impact causes you to drop your torch.

You drop a torch.

You slam into a wall that's a couple feet from the monster, your vision of it still clear from your torch that you dropped. You check your options. You could always try more secret-door-bricks. You could also try and best the shapeshifter to get your torch back. Or you could try something else that I didn't suggest.

What do you do?

Your hot-headed temper shows itself as you angrily grab the handle of your bone sword. You unsheath it and prepare for battle. The shapeshifter, noticing your sudden change in stance, starts to move towards you. It leaps into the air and it shoots straight at you!

You quickly whip your sword into the monstrosity, impaling it directly in its eyeball. Red lightning shoots out from the incision point, and you could swear the bone sword's pommel was glowing.

The mass of slime dissolves into the air, which clears the darkness in the room. You do not need a torch anymore. As light fills the room again, you find you are in a small chamber. Skeletons of unfortunate travellers litter the corners. You notice a part of the monster has not dissolved; its giant eyeball. You pick it up.

You receive an eyeball.

The pupil darts towards you, then at a doorway that you didn't notice since it was so dark. It constantly looks at you, then the doorway. Perhaps its trying to tell you something?

What do you do?

(Extended break time, no update for about 5 hours)

Be stern with the eyeball.

First you pretended to be something you weren't, then you attacked me. You better not be misleading me, too!

Then check out the doorway it's pointing you at.

You decide to head into the doorway where the eyeball was looking. At the end of the hallway is a tough-looking door. You hear something slamming it on the other side. Coupled with the sound of the blows are grunts and yells. Is somebody trying to get in? Or is somebody trying to get out?

You put your ear against the door only to be knocked back by the shockwaves of impact on the other side. Ouch.

"Hello?" You ask, now at a safe distance. The pounding continues.

"HEY!" You yell at the door. The pounding then stops. A voice is heard from the other side.

"Lilicani? Is that you?!" The man on the other side's voice is strong but scratchy.

"Tsuno?" You ask.

"Yeah! Oh man, is it great to hear another voice!... even if it's your's, Lili." Tsuno says smugly from the other side. You roll your eyes at his teasing.

"So talking won't bust this door down. Could you do me a favor and help me smash this thing to bits? Do you have a weapon?" Tsuno asks.

What do you do?

You grin at the eyeball, who looks back at you. You decide to search for a way to unlock the door. To the left, you see a button. Well, that was easy. You go over and press it.

The door cracks open a bit, and starts to open. A chunk of the door falls off and obscures the entrance, but sure enough, the entire right side of the door manages to slide open.

"Oh. Well then." Tsuno says as he enters your hallway.

Tsuno is a muscular guy with slicked back hair, who prefers to act first and think later. His main weapon of choice are his iron knucklers that he currently even has equpped. He is your groups fighter, as you remember.

"Now we're talkin!" Tsuno says. He notices the eyeball. "Woah, I don't remember that. Did you find it around here?"

"It uh... it was part of a bigger monster. It kinda lead me here." You reply. Tsuno looks surprised.

"Well whatever works for you, right? Anyway, have you seen or heard of Vodel or Caliper? Do you know if they're all right?" He asks. Vodel and Caliper... familiar names, but you can't remember them as well. Maybe if you hear their voices like with Tsuno you can. You explain to him about your amnesia.

"You too? I thought I just had bad memory." He recalls. "You can't remember Vodel or Callie though? Weird." You could ask more about these two friends of yours, or you could venture into the area he was locked in.

Or something completely different. What do you do?

You tell him no. He looks a little disheartened.

"Ah well. No sense moping around, that won't find them." You look around the area in which Tsuno was trapped and you find that its very wide. You are situated on top of a mesa. Below you is volatile water. A rickety bridge crosses the gap between the two of you and another mesa. It is too foggy to see ahead.

"Yeah, now you know why I was dying to get out of here." Tsuno confesses. Tsuno seems to dislike fog for some reason. "But now that you're here, we're unstoppable! I am, at least."

What do you do?

Ask the eye its opinion. But I'm thinking NOPE. Not until you get something re-enforce the bridge.

Hm. Approximate the odds (using physics) of reaching that small unstable plank platform using the old and frayed rope bridge.

And then go somewhere else.
