This is your own personal species, on your own personal world. It is up to you to shape and form their development and progress. To start, we'll give you one, in a simple white room. Let us start with the basics.

What will your species be named?

What shape, shall the heads of your species be? [Triangle, Circle, Square, etc.]

And what color will your species be?

You lovingly dub your species; The Tippitar! With this name, you give them a lovely new shade of dark blue color, and a oval head with chompy little teeth. Your first Tippitar seems surprised, but content with your changes.

Now before we have your species embark on it's grand adventure of life, let's go over some basic stuff. You will control your species on a basic scale, over the span of multiple years. It will be up to you to teach your species to survive and expand, and there will most likely be resets required. In any case...

Where will your species begin?

1 - The icy caps of the icy cold poles.

2 - The forests and fields of the temperate land.

3 - The harsh deserts of heaty hotness.

4 - The murky swamps of wet moistness.

5 - The tropical beaches of sandy isles.

You have decided to make your species of Tippitar native to the forests and plains. Let's start you off with a small number, so things don't get out of hand too fast. You will start with five Tippitars, here they are in the forest of their origin, they have no memory or recollection of how they arrived here. This will be where you must teach your Tippitars to fend for themselves and survive. Many years will no doubt pass here. Or you'll fuck up and they'll all die. In any case, they are completely void of knowledge and need to be taught nearly everything. What are some things you should make sure they know to stay alive?

Step 1: Agriculture
Step 2: Storage
Step 3: Abstract Thought

By learning how to produce and store food, more Tippitars can let their minds wander, allowing them to determine which amongst them are the smartest and innovative, instead of constantly hunting for survival. This should increase their ability to progress technologically.

Also, be sure to focus on medicinal sciences. One of the best ways of conquering other tribes is to hit them with a biological agent that leaves their forces weakened, while your own soldiers are resistant or even immune to these biological agents.

I.E. coughing at them.

The Tippitars begin to do this, and are on their sure way to a quick extinction when more logical teachings are presented to them.

>check bushes for food. berries or animals.

The Tippitars begin scavenging for berries and animals in the local foliage. Tippitars have been successfully taught berry scavenging! They idly observe any animals they find.

>So welcome to standing up school...

Luckily the Tippitars have very basic concepts down pretty well. Otherwise they'd already be dead, because nobody taught them how to breath!

>Knowledge how to hunt.
>They got sharp teeth, time for them to show that they have muscle to use said sharp teeth- and in a way that fuels their muscles.
>AKA hunting.
>By running our prey down and biting it to death.

P..Prey? Your Tippitars haven't yet been taught the concept of prey, and aren't sure what it is. They are still innocent creatures, and must be taught the ways to kill. They do begin to flex their jaw muscles, however. Flattered by your observation of their muscular mouths and cheeks.

>Step 1: Agriculture

Your Tippitars can't quite yet grasp the concept of something as advanced as agriculture. Perhaps when they have a bit more general intellect, they could do more..

>Step 2: Storage

Your Tippitars have nothing to store, but will be sure to store anything they collect in the future.

>Step 3: Abstract thought

You decide to take a broad shortcut in the teaching of your Tippitars, and give them abstract thought. Their intellect takes a large boost, and they can now think and move freely without your commands. All of the sudden, the previously unimaginable concept of agriculture begins to form in their feeble minds. It is as though the world has opened up before them. If agriculture is possible? Why else is? What have they been missing? What don't they know. How could they be possible in the first place? If crops are created by agriculture, and agriculture is created by Tippitars.. Then who are Tippitars created by??!

The Tippitar that was thinking all of this unceremoniously collapses, to the curious looks of his fellows. The thought of their existence has not yet crossed the minds of any of the other Tippitars, though they can sort of get how agriculture would work. >for hunting we need at least a basic form of communication

As the berries begin to form a small pile, due to the concept of storage, the Tippitars realize the necessity for a form of communication. After quite some time, they've managed to utilize different tones and forms of grunts and hisses to mean different things.

>then how to make rock tools to process the food

The Tippitars begin to gather some rocks, and slam them against just about everything in sight, observing the result. The result is usually painful, but against dirt the Tippitars observe that certain rocks can dig well, and certain rocks can mash berries well.

>make dresses and weapon

Your Tippitars have no material with which to construct dresses! And don't know the terrifying concept that is.. weapons.

>appoint leader.

The Tippitars hold a small meeting, and decide the first Tippitar that picked berries should be leader. Most of the Tippitars agree, while the scholar Tippitar continues to grunt to himself about how it was pointless.

>"makeshift" clothes, you are not animals.

The Tippitars have no material with which to make clothes, and simply can't come up with any ideas on their own for this particular subject. Almost as though what they choose will be a big deal and have affects on their culture! Perhaps they might be influenced..

>Names, everybody needs one.

Although the Tippitar generally look identical, they begin to give each other names. From left to right, they dub each other...

First Berry. The appointed leader of the group, and the first picker of berries.

Fuckup Dropseverything. Whose name speaks for itself.

Rocky Smack. The main tester of the rocks. His head hurts.

Animal One. This Tippitar seemed to interact with the local wildlife a lot.

And Babbling Stupid. The Tippitar who went mad. They don't really get him.

The basic concept of agriculture has been learned. The concept of storage has been learned. Abstract thought has been learned. The concept of insanity has been learned. Basic communication has been developed. Basic tools have been developed. The concept of clothing has been discovered, though having no shame, the Tippitars do not understand the need for it. The concept of a chain of command has been learned. The concept of names has been learned, and given. Overall rating: You caused a Tippitar to go insane before you even taught them to build shelter.

Ordinarilly, your Tippitars wouldn't be able to have direct communication with you. But certain Tippitars gain the ability to do so, in their own way. This mad Tippitar for instance, perceives your direct communication as thoughts that enter his troubled mind.

We return to find the Tippitars in their new and improved home. Around them, sticks create walls, and are held together by vines. Leaves cast a cool shadow upon the Tippitars as they continue to stockpile berries, sharp sticks, sharp rocks, and a very interesting collection of 'light rocks' which spark when hit together. A layer of leaves and brush serve as a comfy bedding for the Tippitars. The large amount of progress was in no doubt aided by their development of cooperation. Getting twice the amount of work done together. Fuckup Dropseverything returns from a trip to the very small nearby stream. Which serves as their primary water source.

Animal One gazes out into the surrounding woods, a concerned look on her face. "Rocky Smack went search for big water source a long time ago. He still not home.." [[Babbling Stupid's train of thought]]

The water is dirty, until it reaches the sand. The sand makes the water clean, but the sand then stays with the water. Sand must not be drunk, it hurts. Sand is solid - solid things cannot pass through solid things. Water is liquid - water can pass through solid things, like it did when the liquid falling from the sky went through our solid ent shelter. But since sand is solid, sand can not go through solid ent shelter - when sticks fell onto the ent shelter, they did not go through.

Sand purifies water.
Sand stops at ent.
Water passes through Ent.

That's it! Put sand on top of ent shelter and when the liquid that falls from the sky drops on the ent shelter, the sand will purify it, and then the liquid from the sky will pass through the ent shelter and be safe to drink!

[[/Babbling Stupid's train of thought]]

Now, combine this with the concept of putting water in containers. You can now store pure rain water in jars.

We need to teach the Tippitars the art of clay baking. Have them learn about fire, then about collecting clay from riverbanks, and finally purifying water with leaves and sand.
