The four love interests are Altaria, Serperior, Victreebel, and Ampharos. Wait, Victreebel? Really?

Review the map of the campus so you know how to get around. Or maybe go ask someone if there's anyone that gives tours to new students.

calm down kid, like you said it's you're first day, you're a freshmen right? it's practically and unwritten law to give freshmens crap and it will probably stop after the first week. And don't worry so much what others think of you, all that does is add unneeded stress.

as for what to do, you said you still have time right? Then head to a vending machine, it's not like you have to be worried about being late.

I pull out a folded piece of paper from my pocket. A printout of the school map. I made sure to circle my class in red...with the little 'X' being where I am now, in front of the fountain. I'm glad my class is so close to the entrance...Room A8, in the A Building. It really is a big school isn't it? I can't imagine how many students go here, there are so many classrooms.

I head on inside of the school, deciding to try and get to class early. Passing by students, it's clear that I stick out like a sore thumb... They're all giving me dirty looks...on the first day?! What kind of gossip have they heard about me? Sure, I'm not the smartest or the richest, but I didn't think that this academy would be judgmental about that sort of thing. It doesn't take too long for me to get my class, and I find any old seat to sit for now. I had no idea if there were any seating charts, but if I have to move they'll certainly tell me. I feel a bit sick to my stomach...oh, did I forget to eat breakfast this morning? I'm such an idiot...I hope my stomach doesn't make strange noises in class. Maybe they have some vending machines here...? I know I have some spare change in my backpack...

>Find vending machine.

Are you sure it's not because you're breaking some rule of conduct? Like, you're not the only normal type or unevolved critter? You're wearing the wrong uniform? You were unexpectedly enrolled in an otherwise all girl's school?

>what do
Stay put. Eating on an upset stomach won't really help. Besides, there are probably rules against eating in class. You'd show up late with your food only to have it taken away from you.

As far as I can tell, there's nothing strange about who I am here. There are plenty of unevolved Pokemon in this school...everyone else has the same uniform...and there are surely other guys here! I wonder if it really could be the fact that I'm a freshman. I hope it doesn't last the entire school year...

The classroom is slowly beginning to fill up with people. Pretty soon the entire class will be here and school will start. I decided I wouldn't go to the vending machine after all...I don't quite feel well, and food probably isn't allowed in class anyways. I just feel so nervous! Everyone looks so fancy...they're certainly much more sophisticated than I am, even if they're wearing the same uniform.

I turn in my chair, observing everyone. A certain girl catches my eye, however. She was sitting by the window, reading a book in her hands. The sunlight reflected off of her like a shining aura... She was really pretty, the kind of woman you'd see on a magazine cover. After staring for a few moments she raises her eyes, and looks up at me. I quickly turn my head, covering my face in a state of panic. Did she see me? I wasn't having dirty thoughts...! I was just...admiring her! Just then, I hear a slight giggle from the corner. Daring to be brave, I return my eyes to her. She's...laughing? Not the snobby type of laugh, neither. A genuine laugh. After she lowers her palm, the girl waves at me. I can't help but feel my throat tense a little bit. Usually girls so pretty don't really notice me...what do I do? Do I go over and introduce myself? Or just wave back quietly?
>>

first calm down, I'll stop saying that when you actually start doing it

second, go up to her, just ask if she wanted you for something. If she didn't want to talk to you then just ask her if she knows anything about the classes teacher since you're over there in the first place.

Also what class is this again?

>Wave back and smile.

The girl turns back to continue reading her notebook, flipping idly through some notes. I'll have a chance to introduce myself after class. This'll be my classroom for the whole day...it's a more traditional sort of school schedule. The students stay put in one class, while the teachers move about from room to room. I have plenty of time to be with her. What was my first class again? I dig out my piece of paper containing my schedule. Scrolling through the blocks of text, I discover my first class is Advanced Mathematics. Great. I'm not a very big fan of Math. I can understand it just fine, but it's definitely not a fun activity that I'm into.

I don't have much time to get comfortable before the teacher barges in, introducing himself and explaining the curriculum to the classroom. We receive our textbooks, practice notebooks and such. The teacher suggests we all stand up and introduce our names, while he copies the names down for role call. Knocking out two Pidgeys with one stone. Each person recites their names, even the pretty girl in the corner.

"My name is Alana Terria. I hope to have a wonderful year with you all..." She gives a formal bow and sits back down. Her voice is even pretty...soft and gentle like a warm summer's breeze. I catch her smiling at me again, so I wave sheepishly. Suddenly it was my turn to introduce myself...

>My name is...

"...Eric. Eric Evan Vee." I bow my head respectively, waiting as if someone were going to respond. The teacher motioned for the next person to go so I sit back down. Alana was eyeing me from the corner of the room, a gentle smile still showing on her face. She eventually turned away back to her notebook, but I still felt a bit happy that I was the only person in the room she really paid attention to. The other students did their intros and soon we were given syllabi and were already going through notes over the class. I really do hate Math.

After about 75 minutes, the teacher wrapped up his lecture, and saw himself out of the room, telling us good-bye as he left. As soon as the door closed behind him, Alana walked over to my desk and placed a hand on my shoulder. Shivers shot down my spine. I honestly wasn't expecting her to be so friendly towards me!

"Hey, Eric, do you remember me?" She inquired. My heart sank. Remember her? SHOULD I remember her?! Where did I even see her? If I act like I know her...no, no, I can't lie to her on my first day!

Do I lie and say I remember her, or admit that I've never seen her before in my life?

>"I'm sorry. I'm pretty bad with faces and names...I'd probably forget my own Mother, haha!"

That was really cheesy. Oh well.

Alana laughed into the back of her hand, waving you off. She was amused, obviously. I hope she wasn't mad at me...

"It's fine, it's fine. I didn't expect you to remember me anyways. You used to come to my Father's restaurant sometimes. The Baked Berry. I believe you went there for you birthdays a lot...I was always your waitress, heh. I'm usually the only waitress." The Baked Berry? That's my favorite restaurant. My parents take me there for my birthday each year. They serve the best berry pies you ever ate, along with cakes, bars, cookies and even berry ice cream! They're most known for their desserts, but they serve main dishes as well. Every item on the menu has a certain kind of berry in it. It's extremely popular, but unfortunately, extremely expensive as well...that's why I only go once a year.

>"Wow, your Father owns that place? I love eating there... I don't get to go very often, but it's always a treat!"

I exclaim, a bit excited that she worked there. Alana seemed real happy to hear that. However, I could feel a strange...presence in the room. As I looked around, I started to notice that a lot of the other boys were glaring at me. I bet Alana is pretty sought after in this school, especially with how pretty she was. Oh well, it was silly to dwell on something like that.

"The next teacher is gonna be here soon, so I'm going back to my seat, ok?" Alana waved at me and returned to her spot. A stupid smile was stuck to my face a few minutes afterwards, and kept popping up during the day as well. The next two classes, Pokemon Literature and Anthology, flew by faster than I expected. They weren't particularly interesting, but they were a welcomed improvement from Math...

The lunch period began after Anthology wrapped up and students started to file out of the classroom. I packed up my things and tried to leave to get to the cafeteria, but a student stopped me before I could. He held up a stack of notebooks, grinning.

"Hey, before you head to lunch, do you wanna drop these off at the library? I was supposed to but I need to take care of some other things first. Please?"

Should I take them or decline and head to lunch?

Wait, what's this guy look like? Ask him for his name while you can, too. Doing a favor is a good chance to make a new friend, after all! (Or just to tell him later that he owes you one, if you're a little more cynical.)

Anyway... sure. It's a bit out of your way, but I assume there'll probably be enough time to drop this stuff off at the library and then head to the cafeteria for some food afterward.

>Ask for directions.

>"Sure, but uh, do you know where the library is? I still don't quite know my way around..."

I smile nervously, a bit embarrassed that I didn't even know where the library is. The other student just chuckled, handing the notebooks to me. "Sure, sure. You just head down the hallway to the right, and go across the courtyard to the huge building that looks like it's 100 years old. There are two Pyroar statues out front, you can't miss it." He patted me on the back enthusiastically, running off. "Thanks a lot!" I let out a sigh and make my way over to the library. It's a fairly short walk, and sure enough, I found the library without getting lost at all. It looked very old-fashioned, with huge brick walls, towering columns and old-styled windows. The two Pyroar statues glared at me, threatening me. I gulp down any nervous feelings I may have and head inside. It was...pretty empty inside. Only a few students were lingering around, reading or studying. I find the front desk and drop off the assigned notebooks, wiping my hands on my pants. The lady manning the desk thanked me, and went back to whatever she was working on before. I look around, admiring the scenery. While it was pretty quiet, the entire building was loud and clear. Natural light streamed in through the ceiling, and the bookshelves seemed to go on forever and ever.

>"Wow..."

I whisper to myself. It couldn't hurt to wander around a bit, right? It was pretty peaceful here...a perfect place if I need to catch up on some homework. As I walked through the aisles, my attention came to a halt when a certain student caught my eye. It was a girl. She had long, green hair and a confident look to her. She was scrolling through the book selections, red, piercing eyes scanning the titles meticulously. I was caught off-guard by the energy that exuded from her, and didn't even notice when she started glaring at me.

"Is there something I can help you with?" She snapped, voice harsh and merciless.

>"Wh-Wha? Oh I was just uh...looking around, you know? Heh..."

"...Right. Well, just don't cause a ruckus or anything..." The girl went back to whatever she was looking at.

>Introduce yourself.

>Introduce and tease.

>"So, do you know this library well? Do you know where the...adult novels are found?"

I crack a grin, staring at her, expecting her to laugh. She just sort of shoots a dirty look at me, frowning. I can see the tiniest blush on her face... or am I imagining things? The girl pushes her book back into the shelf, adjusting her deep blue glasses. "I'm going to take a wild guess and assume you're trying to be clever. If that isn't the case, then it's in the back of the library, in the Fiction section. Look for a bunch of black dots on the bindings, they're usually meant for more...mature people." I wave my hands, chuckling nervously. Well that certainly backfired. She doesn't have a great sense of humor...

>"Oh n-no I was...just joking...um, my name's Eric. Eric Evan Vee!"

She stares at me for a few more moments, and then returns to browsing through the selection of books. "My name is Seraphin." She didn't add her last name... "Are you a freshman?" I nod my head, a bit embarrassed by that fact. It felt like most people didn't respect freshmen... "Mmm, not surprising. Well it was wonderful talking to you, but I'm going to go in the back and organize a bit. Don't get lost, ok? That would be embarrassing." Seraphin stepped back from the shelf and walked off, leaving me standing there. She's pretty stand-offish...I'm not real sure how I feel about her. She's at least a little bit interesting... Well, I suppose lunch is where I should be heading.

The cafeteria was actually quite nice. Definitely worthy of feeding a bunch of wealthy, noble people. I grab a plate of food and sit down in a quiet table in the corner. Let's see what's on the menu... Sirloin, potatoes, vegetables, a powdered brownie and a bowl of chopped mango. Looks pretty good! I've never had steak at a school lunch before... As I begin to eat, I scan my eyes across the cafeteria. Plenty of people just brought their own lunches, which looked just as high-class as the school lunch. I lost track of what I was doing, and before I knew it, my entire lunch was gone. I guess I didn't really consider how hungry I was...the school day just flew by. It doesn't feel like school just yet. Everything's new...exciting...different. Well, I have time before the next class starts...

>Soak in ambiance.

I lean back in my chair, breathing out through my mouth. My stomach was satisfyingly full, and the calming chatter of students talking was soothing. It felt peaceful...I was actually pretty happy I would be spending the rest of my education here. I think back to the two other girls I met today, Alana and Seraphin...I wonder how many other interesting characters I'll meet here.

>What book did Seraphin have?

It was too late to go back and look now...but if I can remember right...I think there was something about Botony on the cover. It looked very scientific, and pretty large. Is she interested in science? She seems like the type, analytical and observant. I stand up and put away my dirty tray, wiping my hands off onto a napkin. I suppose wandering around the cafeteria would be a good way to introduce myself to people then. I weave through the tables, staring out the windows mostly. I really liked how the light hit everything in the cafeteria...it was really a spacious room too. There were various vending machines lining the wall, so I decided to buy myself a bottle of tea. I push the coins into the slot, staring at the selections. From the corner of my eye I see something move...and then someone began to scream.
