Deep within the massive empire of the Korgloban lies the infamous Byzon Sectors, home of the scummiest scum of the Empire. Discovered in 2XXX by the famous space explorer Richard Happenings, the Byzon Sectors of the Korgloban Empire have been deemed nearly uninhabitable by the sheer wild clusters of debris and asteroids, coupled with spacestorms and thousands of bandits. Despite these facts, the Korgloban people have persevered, and successfully inhabited nineteen out of the twenty total sectors of Byzon. The last remaining, the B-19 sector, lovingly nicknamed... BIG HAPPENINGS. This is the story of the man who, by his own volition or not, will conquer the BIG HAPPENINGS Sector..

CREATE A CHARACTER!! Decisions will be made by how many votes they have, ties will be settled with a random generator.

Body, choose what kind of body your SPACE ADVENTURER will have. (e.g.Average, Muscular.)

You are short, but muscular! You're not quite dorf size, but definitely no giant! Hopefully nobody will look down on you too much for your height! Oh, wait... They won't be able to avoid it!

Facial Features, choose one of each option to decide what your SPACE ADVENTURER will look like.

Pointed Nose, Flat Nose, Stub Nose, Wide Nose, Average Nose

Wide Mouth, Average Mouth, Big Lip Mouth

Droopy Eyes, Sharp Eyes, Average Eyes, Thin Eyes, Dot Eyes

Mustache, MountainMan Beard, Groomed Beard, Shaven, Goatee, Soul Patch, Sideburns, or other, (Specify)

Very short hair, Short hair, Long hair, Very Long Hair, Stupidly Long Hair, Extravagant Hair

Choose a hair color, any will do.

Yeah, our SPACE ADVENTURER will sport a kickass mullet and gnarly sideburns! Auburn's also a good color right? But.. that look on his face.. Oh goodness! It seems our hero doesn't have much of a PERSONALITY right now! We'd better fix that....

Yeah! That's it! Unable to sit idly by while villains do as they please, our hero's beautiful and heroic mullet will roam the galaxy, bravely going where no man has gone before, no smart man that is. Good thing our hero is an idiot. Albeit a polite idiot. But what is our protagonist wandering the galaxy FOR?

Aspirations, what does your SPACE ADVENTURER seek?

Fame - Desires fame and to be known throughout the universe. Infamy also counts.

Fortune - Desires riches beyond imagination.

Love - Desires to find true love, and maybe a home.

True Adventurer - Pretty much desires anything as long as it's a sweet adventure.

JUSTICE - Our hero seeks to right wrongs and pursue evils! A truly noble, but probably stupid inspiration.

Yes! Our brave SPACE ADVENTURER will travel the sector in search of none other than adventure itself! The story is really shaping up now! Sort of.

Alright, two more questions and then it's time to begin the adventure!

Where Does Our Hero Live?

Livatama - Livatama is a sandy planet that is scarcely populated except for pockets of heavy civilization living in cities and towns. A mostly barren planet, Livatama earns it's livelihood by being a homestead for many smuggling and mercenary operations. - Start with poor wealth, but stronger connections to black market corporations.

Ehitus - Most people would say without hesitation that Ehitus is a prosperous planet home to many happy and wealthy people. However, beneath the towering structures and bright lights, there is a bustling community of poor and diseased who are tragically, ignored by the rich above. - Start with good wealth, but a very annoying disease that causes the victim to blackout when aroused.

Tuuker - Although the skies of Tuuker are dangerous, beneath the waters of the planet lives a thriving civilization of people who live mostly like anyone else! Safe within the heavily reinforced walls of their underwater city, the people of Tuuker are a private, and secluded group, if only because the weather makes landing and taking off so difficult! - People of Tuuker will always have your back, but it will be very difficult to take off from the planet.

Jam - Jam IV, bustling space station home to over 1300 inhabitants! What happened to Jam I through III? We don't like to talk about it. Become close with your neighbors, in this tightly packed sardine can of a space station, where you won't be the only one looking to get out of there as fast as possible. - Easily obtainable crew members, but they probably will only be temporary.

And what is our hero's name?

Hesadick's attitude about homosexuality is probably an anomaly in station culture, considering that any lifestyle choice that helps reduce population is probably welcome and accepted.
That being said, I suppose there's no call to look AGGRESSIVELY gay. Make sure you still look a little gay, though, so that people can see you're doing your part.

I enter the main control tower of the ship, where my father works.

Max - "You wanted me, dad..?"

Dad - "Marilyn! Thanks for coming! Nice of you to drop by!"

Max - "Uh, yeah. What'd you want me for?"

Dad - "I'm glad you asked! You see, Marilyn. We've detected two seperate communication signals coming from different directions, unfortunately with our comm equipment in the condition it is, we can only intercept one!"

Max - "So.."

Dad - "So! Seeing as there's a chance we could miss vital information, none of us have been able to make a choice of which to pursue!"

Max - "So you want me to make the choice, so if I choose the wrong one, it's not your fault?"

Dad - "Yes! Great! You get it!"

Which signal will you choose?

Also, are these FTL comm signals or regular radio? Because if they're just radio signals, even if you pick the "wrong" one, you can just grab an FTL ship and zip out a few light minutes ahead of the other signal and intercept it too.

Chris Typhos - "Hey uh, I'm Chris Typhos. I used to be a mechanic on the station, fixed ships." The Leader of the Recovery team speaks up, "HE'S ALSO SLOW AS DIRT! TYPHOS IS ONE OF THE SLOWEST MOVING INDIVIDUALS I HAVE EVER SEEN!" Chris Typhos chuckles a bit, "Haha, yeah that too." It sounds like Chris has experience as a mechanic, but is slow moving on foot.

Mitch Segel - "Hey, kid. Mitch Segel. Used to be a stunt flyer on Marron, maybe you heard of it? Nah, didn't think you did." The Leader speaks up once more, "MISTER SEGEL IS ALSO A RUNABOUT RENEGADE, WHO FANCIES BRINGING ALONG A PISTOL FOR ALMOST EVERY MISSION, ESPECIALLY WHEN IT IS NOT. AT. ALL. REQUIRED!" Mitch Segel smirks, "You forgot to mention my fightin' skills, boss. I'm good at martial arts, remember?" It sounds like Mitch is an experiences pilot, has hand to hand combat skills, and knows how to use a pistol. However, he is a fellow who may do things on his own from time to time.

Travis Stallion - "SIR! TRAVIS STALLION, SIR! I DON'T HAVE A LOT OF EXPERIENCE, SIR! BUT I'M EAGER TO LEARN, SIR!" The leader once again speaks up, "STALLION MIGHT BE AN EXCEPTIONAL TEAM MEMBER IF NOT FOR THE FACT THAT HE IS A GOT-DAMNED CHILD!" Travis is visibly bothered, but he holds his tongue. It seems like Travis might learn quicker than others, but is young and liable to make some mistakes.

Alex Sinner - "Hey uh, Boss are you serious? You really gonna let this kid join the team?" The leader smirks, "Captain's orders, Sinner. You're stuck with him." Alex sneers, "Aw great.. I'm Alex. I got experience in medical I guess.. Don't get us killed, got it?" It sounds like Alex has medical skills, but is sort of.. uh... rude.

Todd Bocher - "Oh.. I'm uhh.. I'm uh.. Hm.." His words fade off into silence. The leader speaks up once more, looking madder than ever, "THIS LAZY SACK OF CRAP IS NAMED TODD BOCHER! AND THE ONLY THING I HAVE EVER SEEN HIM DO WITH ENERGY IS NAVIGATION AND STAR MAPPING!" It sounds like Todd is.. incredibly lazy. But has great interest in navigation.

I pause, contemplating. I need to decide which three of them to choose to come along with me on the recovery mission.

Bring Alex, you'll need her medical skill, report indicates possible wounded

Bring Mitch just in case things get dangerous, always good to have a solid combatant

and also Bring Travis, kid needs a chance to prove himself

Chris' repair skills might be needed later, but that can wait till your sure the area is secure, if it's too dangerous you may need to make a hasty get away and you don't want Chris around to slow you down at first

Okay, we need a medic. Do we need a pilot or a navigator? Who else is coming along? Can someone fill in with less experience? Bringing a mechanic sounds like a good idea since we know they've taken damage. That just leaves one slot open.
