All the teachers and the headmasters had gone missing, and strange figures run rampant through the halls.

Ruby hasn't been planning for long and hasn't been working out the details very much. Currently, she only held a flashlight and extra batteries.

The friends she needs to gather include -
Weiss Schnee
Yang Xiao Long
Blake Belladonna
Jaune Arc
Pyrrha Nikos
Nora Valkyrie
And Lie Ren.
Ruby feels that she may bring anyone else if she finds them, but the list included are the people she is looking out for. Ruby has no idea where they are, she is alone.

Ruby rumbles around her bookshelf and finds the biggest textbook she can.

Ruby shuffles around her dorm and finds an old map of her school. She is currently in her dorm room. The dorm across from hers is a place where some of her friends could be, Ruby feels the armory is unlikely. The garden may be a good way to go as well.

All right. Check nearby dorms for friends, and then we can make a group effort to break into the armory so we have something to defend ourselves with.

The Armory may be an unlikely hiding spot but it's nearby and you could find your friends already in trouble. Check the likely dorm rooms on your side, then go through the armory grabbing your weapon on your way to the infirmary to grab emergency supplies and friends who might be looking for emergency supplies.

Ruby grabs the TEXTBOOK and prepares to give the baddie the clobbering of its life!

Ruby hits it on the head. It ignores her and continues to reach towards Weiss.

Grab the noose around its neck with one hand and yank away from Weiss while you use your other hand to swing the book into his head from the other direction. (So you're yanking his neck one way, and smashing his head towards the other).

Yell at Weiss to get up.

Ruby grasps at the creatures noose and pupils at it, bringing it closer to her. She raises the hand holding the TEXTBOOK, but before she can smash it down on its head, it slashes at her torso. Ruby falls down. Everything goes black. From her fading consciousness she can see the monster running down the hall with Weiss over it's shoulder.

Ruby also asks about her FLASHLIGHT and TEXTBOOK. Blake says she has them and returns them to Ruby.

Check the cover of the book too, there should be a dent or mark where you slammed it into bone.

Ruby argues that something had hurt her, and that was enough proof for her. She takes out the textbook and after a little bit of looking, she finds a very small dent where she had hit the figure with. Ren shrugs.

Ruby does not know how long she was unconscious, it was as of she was sleeping without any dreams. She assumes she was out for a short while considering if she was out for a long time she might have gotten attacked.

Tell your friends about your plan to get out. See if you can get them on board- you could use the help. (Maybe they have their weapons already?).

Ruby begins to explain to her friends about her plan to escape Beacon, they both tell her that they were also itching to get out of the school. Though these aren't Ruby's only friends and she hopes everyone else is okay as well. Ruby then asks the two about their weapons. Both of them shrug, their weapons are in their lockers in the armory. Ruby sighs and asks if they have anything else to use as a weapon. Blake has some sort of metal rod, she doesn't want to give it to Ruby though. She explains that she doesn't want to be without protection now that this has happened to Ruby.

Ruby suggests they go to the armory, but she is wary about using the halls after her encounter with the strange monster. Blake suggests they go out of the window.

Ruby looks out the window. Dorms in Beacon seem to be suspended in air and look vaguely like tiny little castles. It isn't terribly far up, but if the party jumped someone might get hurt. They may want to forge together a rope to get them down.

Ruby has almost flash-tier superspeed. If we run into something that isn't attacking a friend, using that should help us escape. Sadly I doubt it'll help jumping out the window.
Blake is a faunus and thus has almost perfect night-vision. Being part cat also should help her make the leap out of the room, but that doesn't help the rest of us.
Lie Ren, honestly I don't know much about, only that he's shown to be really good at aura manipulation. Might cushion him from a fall, might not.

...then again...part of the trial to get in to beacon was being thrown off a fucking cliff and figuring out how to not die from the landing, while in midair. Assuming this isn't *that* high, it shouldn't be too hard.

Ruby decides to go with a classic blanket rope. Ruby, Blake, and Ren take all blankets and bed sheets available to them, tie them together and throw it out the window. They come up with a solution to how goes down in which order. Blake's superior night vision aids her in the night, and they decided she should scout ahead, she goes down first. Ren goes down second, and Ruby goes down last because she is injured. The climb is uneventful, Ren says the stars look nice, Ruby says she wants to find her friends.

We left the building, not campus. Because they seem to think they have a better chance of making it to the armory going through the outside than through the halls, what with the monsters stalking the halls.

Course there could always be monsters out here too, but... we'll see.
