Uh, are you sure that's a waitress, and not a waiter? Don't misunderstand, they don't look masculine or anything, but they do look ambiguous. Also, Sweet Pevs, Sweet Pets... What exactly does the heart of Sweet Pe♥s mean?

so you actually interested in getting to know her or are you just trying to figure out why no one but you notices that she's a panda person?

Right, so before you begin planning anything think about the possibility this girl being a panda instead of a human is actually a hallucination and you have actually have some serious and surprisingly acute mental problem.
.....

Since that's obviously not the case and she is actually a real freaking panda bear, try to be cool about it. When she brings you your drink, just sort of let it slip that you know what she is, and would like to talk about it.

Might wanna be a bit more sublte about it. She might be something else besides just a panda-morph. "Black and white are your colors, huh?"

Start a conversation with her, ask her if she is a vegetarian.
>>

It's the absurdity factor.
Each individual that comes across her generally overthinks it, wondering how and why this panda chick is going about her business uncontested, and really, the strangeness of that is precisely what lets her get away with it.

"Black and white are your colors, huh?"

MysteriousPandaGirl - "Ha! I've been told I'm a winter, yeah! What about you?"

She takes it as a complimentary observation, answering with no hesitation whatsoever. If she did pick up on it, she's a good actress.

"Honestly I've never been good with that sort of thing. I could just tell with you by looking."

>>571318

"Say, how do you blend in?"

MysteriousPandaGirl - "Huh? Oh the drink. It's just a mix of Blue Mountain beans. We sell them in little packs at the counter, if you'd like. I've gotta see what this gentleman would like, call me if you need anything else!"

She merrily frolics away.

She sounds like a girl, acts like a girl, is called a girl.. Besides it only happens to girls.

>>571312
>>571322

She's the furry one. Look at her, she's covered in fur. I don't want to date her, I just want to finally prove it. Get her to admit it, and maybe explain it.

This has been happening for almost my whole life. Every so often a girl will just turn up and look like some sort of animal. There must be a reason, some sort of pattern I'm not seeing.. Nobody else sees it, but it's real.

Panel, hands on head

>Right, so before you begin planning anything think about the possibility this girl being a panda instead of a human is actually a hallucination and you have actually have some serious and surprisingly acute mental problem.

>You know they have facilities with medication for crazy people like you

...I'm not crazy. It's real. They're really animals. A girl admitted it to me once, when I was younger but.. She moved away shortly after.

I should be getting home soon. I have to work tomorrow. I start to get up, but a voice makes me stop.

MysteriousPandaGirl - "Oh! Are you going? You barely touched your drink.. Are you, uhm.. Are you sure I couldn't get you anything else? Something to eat, maybe?"

She seems a bit uncomfortable. Maybe she did pick up on what I said after all. I really do have to get going but.. This opportunity might be too good to pass up.

Tell her that while you do need to leave soon, you were just stretching real quick before you started drinking. Perhaps mention you'll visit again [insert next date you'll be able to visit], maybe before you leave the place, leave a slip of paper with your payment (you pay as you leave there, right? Or is it before you get your drink? If it's the latter, find a way to hint her at the location of the slip) with an adress and/or time on it, so that she can tell where and/or when to go meet with you and talk about it. Don't go messing up your work schedule over this, but at least make the effort to extend the chance. Heck, maybe she'll leave you a hint on where you can meet her.

Oh, and don't try to get her to admit it in a public location, at least, not so public that somebody who's eavesdropping could catch it. A park would work better, you could make sure you're away from others.

Alright, so we do have somewhat definitive proof that something is going on.
But.
We also have no idea why these people/girls choose not to reveal themselves publicly, and why most people can't see them. There could be multiple factors involved we haved no inkling of. Have there ever been men animals?
Regardles, do you like the coffee? If so, I'd buy a pack at the front counter in order to maintain the front of "Does he actually know or not?" If she's just as confused as you, you're doing good.
Try asking if she knows the girl you knew when you were younger. Odds are all against her saying yes, but her reaction may prove telling. If she asks why, say she reminds you of her, and you just can't out your finger on what it is that calls up her memory.
If you feel truly brash, bring out the puns. Describe your childhood friend using every complimentary adjective you can think of with a double meaning relating to whatever animal she was. Don't poker face or interrogate her. Act like you're having a fun and interesting conversation with someone you barely know. If you can get her to make the first move, you've won.
This is an incredibly delicate situation, though.
We don't want to ask a Gretchenfrage. We need to get her to open up to us, or at least direct us to someone who will.

Stay for a quick snack then. Pile on another hint or two.

Is your sleight of hand any good? You could hide some pocket fluff in your hand and go "Excuse me you have a bit of dust on you." and pretend to remove a fleck from the top of one of her panda ears. See how she reacts. Maybe transition from that into talking about her hair and shampoo perhaps. You could also ask a bit about her family. Ask where they are from... (China?!)

At the end if perhaps you could drop a hint that you will drop by when this place isn't busy.
