looks like whatever was flying the ship had to make an emergency landing cause they're ship caught fire. I say move closer but make sure there is always something between you can the two trying to put out the fire just incase and maybe warn/ask them about that black stuff coming towards them from the ship.

Sorry if this is confusing. I'm trying to represent a split screen to give to details at distance from each other.

I run up to the alley a bit further in. The Talyxian child stays were she is.

I can see them better now, yeah the pale one looks a lot like a Judda save for the fur on his chin. But that is still just guessing as I have only seen a few pictures in books. The female is completely unfamiliar.

I really starting to favor the space aliens theory.

As for the black stuff one the top that just damage. But now that I'm closer I can see something crawling over the top. Gross.

Well that seems to have worked. The things guts are all over my foot and just happen to be ice cold. Go figure. Oh and now my foot hurts... a lot. I may have broken a toe.

He seem a bit slow in crises situations but not that slow. As I gesture we both start to hear skittering legs. I lift the woman up hoping that I don't make her wound worse and run. He follows, still not quite pointing the gun at me. I sense a general degree of fear directed at me.

well you just woke up from a coma after having around 4 months worth of messed up dreams after getting shot after just walking off the train, you are now living in some kind of sci-fi film (hope it isn't like that movie where those things burst out of you chest), and now this is happening. So I continue to talk with Huge on family gossip.

I learn that my dad lost his job when the bakery were he worked closed down 2 months ago (while I was in a coma) So he's all down on that and got pretty depress when it was added on top of the whole I might be a permanent family tragedy. That fact he isn't here right now worries me. Mom still has her job as a ranger and it supports the family well enough though. Ressil wanders in and asks me about some of the Pop stars that live in Goldenring. To which I have little to say based on lack of keeping track of celebrity gossip; or listen to much in the way of modern pop. But I try to humor her. Its amazing how much a formerly feral talaxyian child has latch on to this stuff. Then Huge mentions she spends most of her free time at the music store were he is working.

You'd want the guard for that and since the line to them is busy I'm guessing they now about these little buggers by now. I mean if you want help we'll help but again, no one here is a solder and unlike you we also don't have fancy space weapons.

If we are going to help though see if there's anything around that can be used as a weapon or even better something that can make a lot of things go up in flames, Like a molotov.

If save the town mean rushing in gungho like action vid stars? then no. I never was very big or strong by sergal standards. I your right. I'm not in the best shape. Huge is good at fighting. But that wont help much. The meds he take for his issues reduce his adrenalin. This keeps his short temper long and keeps him level, but reduces his fighting ability. If your asking yes Huge has a mental illness. A treatable mental illness that he has controlled for years and lives a very normal life. My mind keeps going back to that mockery of him in my dreams. And it makes me feel a bit ill.

Grab anything that can be used as a weapon, or just grab a weapon if there are some around. Don't know why there would be but one can hope. If you need to make a weapon just find the ugliest piece of furniture and smash it and grab a good chunk of wood with a nail sticking out of it. Also ask Malcom if he knows of any of the medicine around here could be used to poison these things. I'm just making sure we have all the bases covered.

Well there go some town guard just outside. So this isn't going to completely rely on us.

Most people have held a gun, even shot one. But not much more than once every few years for a day. Towns in this country have and armory for emergencies. So you learn how to use them. But very few people use them with any frequency. But, I'm a decent shot with a cross bow from when I used to go hunting with my mother. And the one time I got to practice with a gun its was easier than the crossbow. This give us two guns now. But this one look a lot less powerful than Malcolm's

I could give her my cloak but it would be comically to big for her and might impede her mobility. I might still ditch it.
