It's been almost a half an hour now, and yet you still cannot bring yourself to do it. Ever since the train pulled into the station, you knew it wouldn't be easy getting up and off. Nothing is easy. Your mind races to contemplate several items of interest, including what your plan is now, where you'll sleep, whether this story will remain in second person, and how soon before those Metro cops come in and beat the tar out of you, just to name a few.

You're a man of the moment. And this moment calls for action! As soon as you decide what kind of action needs to be taken, you think you'll be just fine staring at your grainy reflection in the train window.

>>
No. 551175 ID: 96b823

Considering what was in the briefcase you don't want to be asking any of the cops about it and associate yourself with it, since they'll have popped it open by now.

Perhaps the other guy that was on the train took your briefcase by mistake. He left his suitcase so take it down and look for anything on it that'd ID who its owner is. If there isn't anything then pop it open and check the contents.

Yes, here it is. There is no name on it. Do you know the thief's name?
>>

Oh, we can talk directly to you. Usually we're subconscious. Well... Anyway.

He goes by "Jean Valjean," but that's a name he made up on the spot to answer a cop. We don't now his real name, and hes drunk so much of that amnesiac laced Breen's Private Reserve even he doesn't remember his real name. He's acting based on the note and what else was in your briefcase.

This is apparent. There are many cans of Breen water that have been emptied.

But is not all.

There is a note inside.

"Grizzly Grotto. Second Stall. Absolve your sins."

Huh. Weird.
>>
No. 551455 ID: 36c336

I have no idea, but if the person this suitcase belongs to were happy with their life they probably wouldn't have drank so much Breen brew.

"Absolve your sins" I think this is not going to end well for him. Better find Jean, and do something about it.

Well, seeing as this man has my tokens, I suppose I have no choice but to seek him out. However, we will see what I do when I find him.

I believe this 'Grisly Grotto" is good place to start. However, any other suggestion is welcome.
>>
No. 551651 ID: 36c336

If you're gonna seek out a guy who has forgotten absolutely everything about who he is and what he's doing I would advise against following inexact directions from a note the guy doesn't have. How would he know to go to this grotto place?
I have no idea where to start though, aside from listing off all the different organizations there are which might be able to find him and picking one.
>>
No. 551669 ID: a9194e

Hm... If he is a amnesiac and he has your stuff. And your stuff involves a .357 revolver, just listen for the sound of trouble. Like gunshots or shouting, good chance it's either a psychopath. Or him.

So not only is document in hands of an amnesiac moron, the very same moron is being hunted by combine. If combine gets hands on document, not only will they know who I am, they will also know my employer. This is not acceptable.

I must get to this "Jean" before they do.

The question is: How?
>>
No. 551890 ID: 36c336

The police paying attention to the guy is a problem. Diverting the focus of the police may be a solution: Arson or hazardous chemical spills perhaps. If the police are busy with something else they should be less likely to find the moron with your briefcase (unless he blunders into them).

I like this plan. The thing I'm not sure about is which place to burn/dump chemicals.

Where do you recommend I hit?

[CHOOSE A SUGGESTED AREA TO VANDALIZE:

1. Apartments
2. Hospital
3. Foto Store
4. TV Tower
5. Citadel Entrance]
>>
No. 551895 ID: 36c336

If it's easy enough to get to and damage I'd pick that TV tower, and a couple others. If you can make the cops think they're dealing with some minor vandalism that could be related to an underground resistance that should drive them nuts and make them go harass everybody on their shit-list looking for rebels.
I didn't pick the citadel entrance because we don't want the city administrator to lock down and fortify for later when you have got a weapon. I didn't pick the 'Foto' store because who gives a fuck about a business that's probably dead. I'd rather not set a hospital on fire in case we need medical attention later. Setting the apartments on fire could really confuse the cops but I'm not sure I want that much bad karma.
>>
No. 552633 ID: 6ba8eb

Avoid burning the hospital. That'll get you noticed yeah, by both rebels and CP, twice the enemies... go for the TV tower. It'd cause a mess and no one would really care enough, you'd take out Dr. Breen's broadcasts right?
