Your mind flickers into consciousness. At first glance, you appear to be completely surrounded by darkness. However, you quickly take notice of a series of visible lights, signifying that you have the sensibility of SIGHT.

The aforementioned lights that are in your current range of view appear to be glowing, green TEXT, as well as a pair of buttons, one red and one green, down and to the right of the TEXT. Even further down from the green TEXT and to the left appears to be a glowing red circle.

After you have completed examining the set of colored lights, you then focus your attention to the bright, white light, and -- after paying a bit of heed to your accidental rhyme -- uncover your ability to perceive depth. What appears to be light seeping through a poorly-sealed HATCH of some sort is much further away from you than the series of colored lights, which all appear to be immediately to your left.

What is your first course of action?

First things first, run diagnostics on all systems to ensure full functionality.
Alternatively, if you are organic, pat yourself to see if all youre limbs are in the right places.
if they are not, execute panic.exe/scream

You are not quite certain what a DIAGNOSTIC is-
Just as you think the word "DIAGNOSTIC", your body begins to click, whir, and light up in various places.

Words begin to appear as if they were part of your vision itself. They read the following:
-Motor Chip_ DAMAGE
-HighLoad Storage Disk_ CORRUPT
-Auditory Input_ OFFLINE
-Auditory Output_ DAMAGE
-LowLighting VisualsChip_ ERROR
Unable to diagnose further systems_

On a side note, part of your body has become visible.

Please explain one would repair such a thing.
The commands in your head are becoming a bit disconcerting.

sorry, we're trying to help ya out. Looks like we'll need to get you to a proper repair facility instead. Pity you don't seem to have a help function.

Go to the terminal and try to find an input device. Type in help, an if that doesn't work try various directory commands (dir, ls, etc)

You randomly attempt any sort of motor function. With a high-pitched squeak, you launch yourself in a straight line, backwards into a boundary of the area you are in.

As a result, the lights that the DIAGNOSTIC had previously turned on are now shut off and the words, which are still apparently part of your vision, update to display the following:
-Motor Chip_ ERROR
-HighLoad Storage Disk_ CORRUPT
-Auditory Input_ Now online
-Auditory Output_ DAMAGE
-LowLighting VisualsChip_ OFFLINE
New systems detected_
-HighSpeed Adapter_ OFFLINE
-MultiTerrain Wheels_ DAMAGE
Unable to diagnose further systems_

You recognise the letters "TERMINAL" from the green, glowing TEXT from earlier. Something clicks as you recall that you are very efficient in manipulating TERMINALS.

After discovering how to move in reverse, you quickly work out how to move forwards, and this time, coming to a shaky stop, rather than smashing into something else.

Unfortunately, upon arrival at the terminal, you can neither make out a KEYBOARD nor perform the action of TYPE.

You did not notice until now that, since the moment you've accelerated backwards, you've acquired the sense of HEARING.

You do not know how to do such a thing.
Your current known abilities are SIGHT, HEARING, REVERSE, FORWARD, and DIAGNOSE.

Approach the glowing red circle. It seems to be your height and perhaps something will kick in.

As you focus on the red circle, your lights from earlier kick back on. This time, you notice that the red ring protruding from you appears to be the same in shape and size as the red ring on the TERMINAL.

That appears to be the most logical use of this appendage. Unfortunately, you have no motor control of that region.

Someone is at the door. Since we have no idea what is going on and you can't exactly hide since your all lit up stay very still and stop looking at the red connector.

You stop looking at the glowing, red SOCKET and focus on the HATCH. The light that was once peeking underneath the rather large gap is now gone.
>try to gain control of the lights and turn them off and stay still.
Your movements were already very limited, but you manage to dim your lights and do not intend on rolling into any more boundaries.

Stay still for a few more time units then try to rotate our body so that we can reverse out tail into the socket.

You heard a thumping sound and can now only hear the sound of dripping liquid.

Your current movements are FORWARD, REVERSE, and STOP.

Do you have more than one wheel/locomotive appendages? If yes move FORWARD with one and REVERSE with the other to ROTATE. Otherwise move forwards and backwards repeatedly in the hopes of accomplishing something
