From before birth, it was chosen. A single soul plucked from infinity. It will be molded by the Gods, watched by the Gods and most importantly, guided by the Gods.

You as, as the Gods, must shape this soul into being. So let us start simple. Is it a boy or a girl? Oh, and keep in mind that the God that speaks first will have their will made manifest.

This is when you speak. The winds soar through the camp, extinguishing the flames. The tounge of the Gods are to much for simple mortals. MEwilk seems unaffected by it. The knight fights to stay standing from the pure force. Wracked with pain, the knight trys to answear.

"HAIL WARRIOR. DO YOU SEEK THE CHOSEN ONE?"

"YEEESS!"

The knight falls to one knee.

"WHY DO YOU SEEK OUR CHOSEN?"

"so THAT CAN P,PLEDGE MY ARMS TO HIM!"

"HE STANDS BEFORE YOU, YOU HAVE FOUND HIM."

In a instant, the winds die off and the calm settles in. The knight falls to the ground, face in the grass. Mewilk finds him alive but unresponsive.

Mewilk places the knight in a tent as he goes in search of his gear. He finds his shirt and pants but the rest was destroyed in the fires. He retrieves his hat from Kirrel and fills it edible goods. He plops down in the tent where he moved the knight, dumps the food out at his feet and takes a bite of a peach. Looking up to the heavens, he cracks a smile.

"Gods, I pray for a full nights rest where I don't wake up to a slap in the face or in bondage."

Well, I think that can be done.
Let's give him a full nights rest where he wakes up to a kick in the junk and in female dress, just to be contrary. Also with unexplained bird poop hitting him if he questions if the day could start any worse.

Right then, standard looting procedure. Not sure the three of you(and a horse if I recall) can carry a entire camp's worth of loot so focus on small, valuable things, supplies, and getting your bow and arrows back.

As for that other guy, he was likely smart enough to flee the moment he had the chance. He had no loyalty to Mewilk either so he's probably long gone.

Well young Mewilk, now that you have a small group, some spoils, and a good night's rest under your belt, may I suggest looking for the nearest town once you are done looting? They always have plenty to do there and we can sell any loot we find for funds.

Thought I better take Acru with me since he had a decent bounty on him. When I ducked into to grab him, he got me around the neck with his bindings."

That's Cancer Mage's familiar. What we want is a ROCK LOBSTER! or any large riding crustacean really. But we need a symbol of our divinity, something NO ONE can deny that Mewlik is the true scion of the gods... How about a halo of light shining out of his head? That's always in style.
>>
No. 428625 ID: cdc0e8

Boys boys, settle down. First things first we need to establish that our Avatar is indeed our avatar. Got to take on something a bit bigger than a small camp. Make a name for Mewilk. Find some artifacts, old ruins, maybe kill a dragon or two. Basic stuff.

As for a familiar? Nothing yet. I say our boy should EARN his familiar. Crabs and rock lobsters are good and all, but if he could get something bigger and tougher, then by all means that should be his familiar.

For the hat? It's a nice hat, but hats don't offer support against arrows or fists to the face. Let's give it a practical helmet mode. Protect the noggin and his face.
>>
No. 428631 ID: 7c31d2

>>428625
Well, divine boons usually have extra powers, I don't see reason we can't have the hat make blows hit softer, or maybe give it a once a day barrier effect.

>>
No. 428636 ID: cdc0e8

>>428631
Hmmm, softening blows would likely be good, but why not combine the two? Helmet form with blow softening? That way we have a little something extra to protect him.

As for the crab, may I direct you to the Honey Badger? A beast that has messed with things of various walks of life and simply takes what it wants? Bugger can be bitten by a venomous snake and it will get up and eat the bugger after a rest.
>>
No. 428644 ID: 7c31d2

I wish wolverines weren't played out, they're so cuddly. And they can take on a bear, and they can kill a moose. I'd like to see your honey badger kill a moose.

How about we compromise. A riding wolverine familiar with rock-lobster armor. Cuddly rock lobster armor of doom.

Sawsome.

Torch the remains of the village and the people.

Yep, time to go home. Oh and by the way Mewlik, many of us gods have had a falling out. Your instructions may become somewhat more contradictory, so heads up.

What's with everyone saying he should return home. Wasn't Mewlick supposed to survive out here for a week before returning home to the vilage?

I should clarify: this simply means "some of the gods are being pansies."

No need to go home yet. You should have enough time to get a decent start on conquering the world before you really need to.

Though if you really want to you can start with your own tribe.

Mewilk hasn't yet become badass enough to go home. He only has two followers and he's not more physically potent than anyone else yet. He should have a tribe and unconquerable strength in battle before he returns. I mean, we're the gods, it's the least we can do for our champion.

You're probably right. Mewilk should instead take to banditry for the time being. Make a little money, get a little combat experience. He'll need a disguise of course. Kirrel and Erio, too.

I'd suggest going to another town, finding some mercenary work posted, maybe...

Be sure to pick a great challenge, and put all your faith in us, your gods, to deliver you to victory... heheheh...

Banditry eh? I was going to suggest we go find a WIZARD, because every band of adventurers needs a wizard. But hey, becoming a Bandit King in a week seems pretty fun, so let's do it.

Also, Twelvth and Hat are pitiful losers who suck and you shouldn't listen to them anymore Mewlik.

No, Mewlik turning to banditry is just going to make us look bad. Not the 'terrible wrath' sort of bad either; the 'those dickbutts' sort.

Well, banditry could work. It depends on what route it'll take for him to get the most followers the quickest. If we want him to be King he needs an army. He's got to start somewhere.

Though being Gods, we should only have him attack people who deserve Divine Retribution. What mortals have been ignoring us more than they should lately?

Also: Boy, don't listen to One. He's just an out-dated old fogey

If he has an army, he may as well be a king already. At any rate, there's not much point in spending a whole long time out here when he's only suppose to be gone a week. Just, no going back early, and we shouldn't send him back without something a bit more impressive than what he's got so far. A couple artifacts that we gave him, and a couple followersyears that we pretty much gave him. He should be powerful before he gets back. This is his ritual of adulthood, so it sets the tone for the rest of his life.

On that note, Mewilk, let's find a hostile or neutral tribe here for you to take on. Hopefully this time you won't end up imprisoned right away and the gods won't have to step in directly.

So up next is finding another tribe to take over? Sounds good I suppose...

Hmm... what to do with the portal then...

Hey mewlik, simple question:
would you prefer that we give you information instead of commands?
