You quickly pool yourself into the dip in the base of the tunnel, and brace yourself. However, your precautions seem unneeded, as after another, smaller, thump, all movement ceases. Curiosity once again rises in you, but is tempered by a new emotion, which urges you to stay put.
You guess you'll think of a name for that one later.
For now, you reach upward from your position, extending a tendril to flail about in the space above, and gather more of the construct.
[Stickiness: 20/100]
Reaching for the next construct, you notice that you simply do not have the leverage, nor the grip, to maneuver your mass into the above tunnel from this position. You also note two other interesting points. The first is a new object, or group of objects, resting at the back of the tunnel. They appear to be round, and tightly grouped.
The second is that you seem to be tiring now, much faster than your previous actions would have lead you to expect.
You consider both these points while flailing another tendril, beginning to consume more of the construct.
